The ghast falls under the radiant assault.

Asariel breaks into some sick dance moves but when he tries to turn that into an attack, he misses. The ghoul returns the attack, doing 4 slashing and paralyzing Asariel.

The ghoul to the south finishes its approach on Mathias and slashes him with a claw. [[AC 20, 3 slashing Failed Save, paralyzed until the end of his next turn.]]

Torban gets double-teamed by the ghouls he hurt earlier, one paralyzing him with a slash, the other taking advantage to bite him.

The ghoul to the north of Arista slashes at her with a wicked claw. Her frostquill aegis activates, shredding the ghoul which collapses in a heap.

Everyone is up.

Kaelen continues attacking the ghoul he has marked.

Action: Scimitar to hit (with advantage from Vex last turn) nat 20+5, damage 8 slashing + 7 force and Nick.

Shortsword to hit 20, damage 1 piercing + 2 force and vex

Bonus Action: move Hunter's Mark to next closest Ghoul if this one dies.

While Kaelen deals with the ghoul to his north, Brekka turns to the ghouls to the south that are harrying Torban. He breathes in deeply before expelling a gout of flame in a line across the two undead creatures.

Action: Breath Weapon, DC 12 dex save for the two ghouls southwest of Brekka. 8 fire damage on a fail, 4 fire damage on a success.

[[Sorry it wasn't clear, the ghoul Kaelen marked is dead. It died when it attacked Arista. I'll reinterpret Kaelen's action to have moved his mark and himself to attack the one on Asariel.]]

Kaelen steps up to cut down the ghoul menacing Asariel, and Brekka's flame horribly burns the two ghouls fighting Torban.

Arglen and one of the kobolds finish off the ghoul attacking Mathias, and the other kobold slips down and finishes off the southernmost ghoul.

The severely burned remaining ghoul bites Brekka for 5 necrotic damage.

Everyone is up, noone remains paralyzed.

Arista infuses her staff with nature‘s power and attacks the ghoul that attacked Brekka.

Action: attack, hits AC 9 for 5 damage

Brekka reels at the attack against him, but he quickly recovers, it doing little against his bolstered pride. He joins Arista in retaliating with a strike of his longsword.

Action: Longsword 11 to hit. 8 slashing damage. Sap Weapon Mastery if it hits. The 5 necrotic came off his temp HP.

Kaelen joins in on attacking the ghoul that bit Brekka.

Bonus Action: move Hunter's Mark to this ghoul.

Action: scimitar to hit 10, damage 5+4 hm and Nick. shortsword to hit 13, damage 5+1 hm and vex.

The ghoul, thrashing wildly in its desperate condition, dodges all of your attacks until Kaelen's shortsword pierces the thing that was once its heart. The creature drops and all is still.

Asariel shakes off the paralysis. "I need a wash after that. Those things reek. Is everyone okay?" 

Kaelen breathes easier as he withdraws his blade and the ghoul falls for good. "I am unscathed." He looks around, trying to see if there are any tracks indicating where these undead came from.

Survival: 11

Torban and the kobolds indicate they are pretty good.

Kaelen, you are able to find an unclear trail to the northeast. It is faint enough you don't know if it will be very easy to follow it very far.

"I'm good," confirms Arista and helps Kaelen to follow the trail if he wishes. (Arista is proficient in Survival for help)

You are headed mostly south and a little east.

"It appears the undead came from the northeast. It would be safest to let it go, but I am not opposed to investigating either."

"I don't mind investigating but I am equally happy just to make a note of here in case we come back this way again."
