D’Kon looks at the other groups and give them a friendly smile and and turns to the others “While we here why not get to know the other groups maybe we can earn their trust we help them and they may help us in return in the future when we need it.”
Yes. As you look around, the Jerbeen from earlier is discussing her group's next move with a tiefling and a gith. Another group has an Elf and a Kenku inspecting a map. Their halfling party membernis attempting to see, but is much too short to do so. Finally, there's another group with a devil, an Aarakocra, and a Changeling. They're just hanging about.

”Hey adventurers is there anything you’d like help with?” Jed cheerfully asks with a wave and a smile
As you wave towards the group, I need you to make an insight to get a general vibe of each group, and their reactions.

He/Him. I am the DM, you are the player. You make the mistakes and I decide the consequences. Now, with that being said - Are you SURE you want to cast Fireball?
Brammuth is going to just sit back and let the more outgoing/extraverted members of the group do the socialising. Hands no his hips, looking over the room while the D'Kon and Jed mill about.
From your insight, you can tell the Jerbeen seems really interested in you and Brammuth, the Devil (I'm just going to reveal is a Cambion) seems wary of your group to which the Changeling seems to be comforting him, and the Elf & Kenku just flat out ignore you while they help their Halfling friend up onto a stool.

You make your way to the blacksmith, a large building with smoke rising from the chimney. Outside is a dark skinned Dwarf man with wild grey hair and a large beard. He's waving farewell to a tiefling barbarian, who's walking away with a shiny new axe. Upon hearing your groups footsteps, he turns and crosses his arms. "Hoh there, adventurers! Y'hear to buy something? Welcome to War's Whetstone - Forged by War, built t'last. The name's Warren, but folk 'round here call me War. Nice t'meet ya." He offers his hand to shake.

Jasmine will shake his hang. Her gauntleted hand grabs his. "Well met, Warren. While I'm sure we may be buy some of your weapons and armor in the future, for now that is not what we are here for. We are here regarding that quest about bandits you posted at the Guild. What can you tell us about that?"
Warren nods, his handshake firm as he grasps your gauntleted hand. "I see, I see. Well, come inside, I'll explain the details."

As you enter the blacksmith shop, the heat of the forge hits you like a wave. The walls are adorned with weapons that sparkle and shine, as if they were somehow made of silk. Warren sits on a stool and wipes his forehead, slick with sweat. He claps his hands on his knees and lets out a deep breath before beginning. "First n'foremost, I 'preciate you lot taking this job. I know all the other jobs promise more excitement or pay, but... I'm glad you decided to help this old dwarf out. Y'see the beauties hangn' on the wall?" He asks, pointing to the glimmering weapons, "Each 'n every one was handcrafted by yours truly. Each one takes a lot of fine materials, which I have imported from other towns. Now, the problem is a gang of bandits, bout 5 or so of them have been hanging by the road leading out of town n' ambusin' my supplers, killing everyone on board and taking it all for themselves. They're slippery, so if you're not a supply cart or anythin' like that, yd'be hard pressed to find 'em." The he leans in forward. "So here's what I want y't'do. I'm planning on sending a cart to go grab shipments tonight. I want you lot to go with the cart and keep the cargo n' crew safe from the bandits. If you can get the supplies back time safe an sound, I'll consider that a quest well done. But, if you manage to get the bandits off m'back permanently, I'll let you pick one've my beauties, free of charge. How's that sound?"

D’Kon thinks and asks “Before we set off i have a few questions if you don’t mind me asking: What do you know about these bandits? Any identifying marks, gear, or tactics they use? Do they always attack at the same spot, or do they move around? What’s the cargo we’re transporting exactly? Anything particularly valuable or dangerous? Who’s driving the cart? Are they armed or trained to defend themselves at all? Where are we going to meet the supplier? How far is the journey?
"Woah, one at a time sonny, y'tryin' t'make me go deaf'r somethin'?" Warren groans and picks his ear before answering. "According t'eyewitness reports, these bandits cover their faces with a black cloth with eye holes in 'em. They also have their right sleeves torn off to show off some stupid brand they have in the shape of a broken vase. I have no idea what the brand is for, so don' bother askin'. They often jump the supply carts from above in the canyon pass from here in Startland to Regnum Pax, where you'll be headin'. It's about a couple days journey to there, and you'll be goin' with my daughter Arminia, who'll go with ya to make sure the proper supplies get moved. Don' worry though, Army's plenty strong, so y'won't have t'babysit her on the journey. You'll be headin' there with enough supplies t'last y'the trip n'back, and t'payment fer the supplies. As fer t'supplies, head t'Rockerfeller's place. 'E's a friend o'mine, runs the mining operation over in Regnum Pax. 'E'll hand over th'ore I need t'make m'beauties."

Jasmine would very much like to get on with the bandit mission so she's going to wait for Jed to finish getting his alcohol so they can go already.

Jed uses his azurite to purchase a 5 gallon cask of ale from a vendor, “Okay let’s stomp bandits.”
Alright, are you ready to begin your quest?
