Cassyt looks nervously at the halfling. "I am here with you to learn, not to fight. In defense, of course, yes. Otherwise..." she lets the thought trail off.
OOC: Since the zombies have not not yet noticed you, and the kobold is soundly sleeping, you may all plan and come up with an action. It is entirely possible, if not likely, that those in the room will react to what you decide to do even in this round, but, you are outside this large room as yet undetected, so you may all do something; there is no initiative or time constraint until some manner of contact is made.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Casmenos and Destin charge the room, weapons drawn. The zombies barely have time to turn before Casmenos arrives at the sleeping kobold. With a single blow, he silences the snoring Kobold forever. Destin peels off to attack the first zombie, and both axes strike home.
You did not say in any of the posts declaring the action that you wanted to make the attack non-lethal; you did say in other non-combat posts I did not review when setting the map that it would be useful, though, so yes, the kobold is unconscious, not dead.
Tumal attacks the zombie he can see. The elf lifts one thin arm, extends a finger, and a mote of light flies from his fingertip like a spark being tossed by the wind.

The final zombie lumbers over to Casmenos and swings a rotted fist at him. 7 damage: 6
Tumal peeks out from behind the crowd, and sends a sizzling gout of fire underneath Destin's ampit, igniting the wounded zombie and sending it to the floor.
Undead fortitude: 14
And it stumbles back to its knees, aflame but clinging to its mockery of life.

Considering this could be a substantial event, giving people another day or so to respond before committing to resolve
Tumal is ready. He will start out in the back.
Marrow will stand in front of Cassyt and ready his movement to block any enemy that comes towards her.
Kelvin joins the others, but near the back.

Destin's to the front, axes at the ready!
I think we're as thoroughly planned as we're going to get. :) Let's go.
Casmenos and Destin charge the room, weapons drawn. The zombies barely have time to turn before Casmenos arrives at the sleeping kobold. With a single blow, he silences the snoring Kobold forever. Destin peels off to attack the first zombie, and both axes strike home.
Round 1:
In order, bold can go:
Umm, I said many times I wanted that Kobold alive for questioning. If I hit him, it will be non-lethal to render it unconscious.
One zombie lumbers over to Casmenos and slams at the paladin 5 Damage: 3, while the Zombie Destin wounded retaliates:10 Damage: 5
Initiative, bold may go:
You did not say in any of the posts declaring the action that you wanted to make the attack non-lethal; you did say in other non-combat posts I did not review when setting the map that it would be useful, though, so yes, the kobold is unconscious, not dead.
Point taken. Thanks for accommodating me.
Marrow edges forward to H5, and peers at the zombies suspiciously He will ready an attack for any enemy that comes in range.
Kerrec: it was my fault. You did say so, but after the long delay I only skimmed the action posts.
Tumal attacks the zombie he can see. The elf lifts one thin arm, extends a finger, and a mote of light flies from his fingertip like a spark being tossed by the wind.
Fire Bolt Attack: 22; Damage: 10 fire damage

And it stumbles back to its knees, aflame but clinging to its mockery of life.
Bold turn now:
Casmenos gasps at the blow, calling out for help, "I've been wounded!"
Casmenos takes the Dodge action.
How do I always have such bad initiative? :-p
Destin hacks and cleaves at the zombie once again. If it drops, he moves towards the next zombie.
Handaxe vs Zombie: 23 vs. AC. Hit: 8 slashing damage.
Handaxe vs Zombie: 11 vs. AC. Hit: 5 slashing damage.
Can I roll above a five on these d20s?
Kelvin blasts the first zombie with force, then reaches out a wave of healing energy towards Casmenos.
