Ylis thinking she was going to get a good grip on the amulet got a good grip on the spear and does not let go, "WHHHhaaaaaaaa!" she dragged along with the shark moving towards one of her friends!

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
DM: Since the average of the party's roll is 7.8 and the shark rolled an 18, Riven's roll won't do much to change the average if he appears. We'll work him in if that happens.
Randa, since you are most at risk here with your electrical current pulling it like a magnet to you, please roll a d20. 1-10 it takes the top route to you, 11-20 will cause it to take the bottom route to you.
The Huge shark darts through the water. It bends and curves like an arrow wobbling through the air. This lends to its speed, which stretches the poor Ylistopus' tentacle to its snapping point, but she holds on despite the pain. The glowing moonshark opens its toothy maw, large enough to fit half Randa in sideways, conjuring images of what the other half would look like on its own.
The shark rolls its eyes back, a protective measure, and opens its mouth wide, allowing the electroreceptors to guide it the final foot or so to its target. Randa has time for half a prayer and no more before...
Natural 1!
The clinging Ylistopus batters against the pillar as she is swung around, taking on the shark's momentum. This distracts the shark and pulls its face toward the opposite pillar, where its snout bludgeons the rock, adding a few more scars to the countless already present on the nose of this great terror.
DM: Everyone else go! The shark is on the southern side, with Randa standing between two pillars of rock. A worthwhile note: The shark can fit through that space. The size of the token is not its actual size, but rather the space it controls.
DM: Also worth mentioning is that the spear is not part of the shark. It can be pulled free if someone wants to spend an action to attempt an Athletics Check, DC 13.
Joy swims as fast as she can after the Ylistopus. Her voice bubbles out as she calls after the battered octopus, “Try pulling the spear out! We can divide its attention!” Her wide eyes fix on Randa’s struggling form for a moment, but she forces herself to beam reassurance at Ylis.
Action: dash to get by the shark's side where the spear is
"Randa!" Vazo'yn calls urgently as the shark surges toward her. His eyes go wide as the shark's dozens of razor sharp teeth bear down on his friend. He breathes a heavy sigh of relief as its head is reefed away from her at the last minute.
"Watch out! You've faced worse before. Your story doesn't end here."
His words of encouragement are laced with a bolstering magic that might lift Randa's heart, whether she believes them or not. Perhaps it's the drow's unshakeable belief in his friends that drives her forward.
Bonus Action: D6 Bardic Inspiration to Randa.
He turns his attention then to the shark. For a moment he locks eyes with the vicious beast and speaks to it in a voice that echoes with dozens of quiet, unsettling whispers. It need not understand him to feel their discouraging influence.
"You are not the alpha predator anymore."
Action: Vicious Mockery. DC 13 Wisdom save for 1 Psychic damage and Disadvantage on its next attack.
Berk is going to hold to see if Ylis is able to pull out the spear, and if so if the shark calms down. If it does not he will let loose with his magical energy. If it does calm he won't cast.
Eldritch Blast18 / 12 dmg: 10 [rolled twice, wasn't sure if i'd have disadvantage because of water]

DM: I am not inclined to interpret the text of the Help Action to permit verbal encouragement in getting Advantage on someone's physical Check. If you would like to help pull the spear, you will need to use your Dash to get close enough to physically Help. We will keep the encouragement in the narrative, but it lends no mechanical benefit, so you still have an Action to use.

Ylis grabs the spear, grabs the shark, grabs the pillar, everything around her is a spastic effort to pull the spear out. It would probably hurt quite a lot and then she would have a really cool glowing spear! Whatever it takes to save her friends and win the race!

Indeed, the glowing spear would be a cool addition to any adventurer's arsenal. With a mighty wrenching, using four limbs to pull and four to anchor herself, Ylis yanks it glimmering spear free. The shark spasms as the wound pours blood into the water in a permeating cloud of red.
The magical spear continues to radiate light. Ylis does have a sudden imparted knowledge or sense that she can will the spear to stop the glow.
DM: The glow of the shark becomes more pronounced now that the spear is yanked free. The single next Attack will have Advantage, which will cancel out the Disadvantage that any mundane Attacks would have.
" The amulet is what we need not the fish!" Randa yells.
She stretched out her limbs calling on her Ancestors and kicked forward towards the sharks snout, aiming to skim across its sensor filled snout close enough to confuse it as she tried to latch onto the amulet.
Action Surge-
Action 1 - Longstrider to boost movement to 45''
Action 2- Vault over snout to collect amulet and hold on for dear life.
Acrobatics- 14
Bonus Action- Tactical Mind- +2 if the above roll fails.
Berk will summon a wounded two foot long fish in front of the shark, away from Randa, hoping to distract the shark!

Moonshark Wisdom Saving Throw: Natural 1 again! Second one in a row lol.
I had to check if there is something wrong with the roller, so I did another. It works as it should. Just some bad luck. :P
