Capa says, “Okay,” and stashes the box and key with other stuff from the level. She looks around for any other loot (investigation nat 20) before leaving the room.
Zertell picks up a faint outline of a secret door at the Northeast corner of the 30x30 room. The team investigate it and find it is completely empty. You decide to move on to the next room in sequence.
You do your usual checks on the door and move in
Racks. Cobwebs enshroud rows of old weapon racks, many of which have collapsed under their own weight.
Axe. A door in the south wall has a handaxe embedded in it.
Nothing radiates magic so far. Levi pulls the handaxe easily enough and you move into the next room. When you get to the door going south you notice runes on the double Eastern doors before you go through the southern door.
Behind the door with the handaxe is a 10-foot-square room with a 1-foot-thick, 5-foot-diameter stone sharpening wheel set into the floor. Pressing down on a stone pedal previously turned the wheel, but the mechanisms under the floor have seized up with age, and the wheel no longer turns. Nothing radiates magic so far. You come back out with a decision to make about the Eastern doors and the rune.
