With the wolf spider bearing down on Arthasis, Evrik flashes back to Taevi wanting to attack him as well. Why are the spiders all drawn to him? he thinks to himself. Could it be related to his interaction with the Drow Priestess? For a warlock one would think he'd know better than to succumb to her advances. Perhaps she infected him in some way? Evrik edges closer to Arthasis, and examines him for any signs of an illness or infection. (Medicine: 13)

Arthasis could not believe the run of bad luck he has experienced since he started to venture the Underdark. “Why does it have to be a damned spider all the time.”, the warlock shouted incredulously at the beast climbing in his direction. He somehow needed to snap Immotichey out of this shape and with it hopefully out of blind rage that took hold of him. He was quickly running out of options but devised a plan that might just work.
He focused on the charging wolf spider and then uttered a single Command“Shapeshift.”
Chubby, between sobs: “Whoda-whadda? Shapeshift? How’s that gonna help? CRISPY JUST FELL!!!” That’s when he finally noticed Itsy-Bitsy-ImmoSpider crawling rapidly up towards them. “What in the seven hells has gotten into Immo?! IMMO!” And that’s when Chubby finally put two and two together (to make five, naturally), and figured out what Arthasis was doing. Rapidly scurrying along the remainder of the knifes edge pass, he’ll try to get to more stable ground with room to work. Pulling off his pack, he’ll pull out his rope, a torch, and his tinder kit.

The spider hears the powerful word of the warlock. This cause it to stop completely in its tracks. Suddenly it begins transforming again. His true lizardfolk form would certainly lead to his demise below...luckily he had enough presence of mind enough to shift in to something else that will allow him to hold tight to the wall - giant centipede. After shifting, the giant insect just remains in place, it's antennae shifting back and forth in confusion, trying to make sense of the situation.
Immo manages to do so after the overwhelming compulsion form the warlocks command. The presence receding, but whispering even as it fades "I will be back.."
If No one ever looks at the Kuo-toa as events unfolded, was it possible the fish-man was shocked by events? Possibly!(Not really) But, they will never know~
Once things have at least started to calm down, he does try to carefully slink over to Chubby, and places a webbed hand on the dwarf's shoulder. "The world has spoken. Her fate, and those of the others is out of our hand. As it has always been. If you seek solace, you will find it." Shuushar calmly expresses as he took his hand back to brace against the wall.
"But it will not be here. Places such as this can stretch on for miles on end, as I suspect you well know, my dwarven companion." He says, giving Chubby an almost knowing look, and then looks to the path ahead. "Recall the other while his mind is still his, for his form will not last the journey, and there are yet other dangers here."

Nearly a day has passed, and the pathway stretches ever onward. The pathway gets a little wider as you go farther out. Once Immo is back another dex check, DC 7.
Immotichey would go down and down and down.... finding only more infinite abyss, darkness, and the wall itself. There was no trace of them.
After a few hundred feet of finding nothing but darkness, the centipede stops for a moment. Its antennae droop and it hangs its head dejectedly. Then it quickly returns back to those on the ledge.
Seeing the party clinging to the cliff wall along the ledge, the centipede moves on ahead of them to find where the end lies. After discovering the end it will return to the group though maintaining its form.

With the darkness below looming in his mind, Evrik tries to calm himself and focus on the ledge. One step at a time he repeated his mantra. He felt a great urge to reach of and help all of the fallen souls but right now the only thing to do was survive. (Acrobatics: 17)

If possible, Chubby will take out his rope and tie it to himself, and then pass it on down the line, and have everybody else tie themselves into the rope as well.
He’ll then take out his climbing pitons and start hammering them in every 10 feet they go along the ledge, feeding the rope through them as they go.

That was quite a close call. "Don't change into a spider again. I'll explain later.", Arthasis shouted after the lizardman, who just turned into a centipede and raced down to wall to find the others. Taking a second to regain his focus, he soon realized that Chubby came up with a pretty good idea. Seeing that he tried to use rope and pitons to navigate the ridge, the warlock passed his own climbing equipment down to the dwarf and bound himself to the rope. Silently and slowly he then moved on.
Immotichey would eventually return to tell the group that there seemed to be roughly a mile of ridge left around a very casually turning northward and that there was another cave entrance ahead that seemed to be glowing, with a distinctly different aura than the previous one, it glowed blue, and had crystals that hummed softly. But immo did not go far enough to see everything so that was the best he could describe it as.
As you all press forward, now feeling safer with your new system, continue your way along the thin outlier ridge. Eventually you reach the halfway point, and out in the distance of that darkness, you can swear you hear agonized screams, tortured yells, pained moans, and other horrifying nightmare noises. They were pleading with you to help them, asking why you were abandoning them. Immo had not noticed this on his way there or back, either because it hadn't happened, or he wasn't paying enough attention, he would never know. As you all drew towards the crux, and exceeded the halfway point, you would all see a white, bare, figure of a woman, she floated out over the abyss like it was solid ground. Her hands out pleadingly, her face twisted in pain and tears, softly, you would hear, echoing through your mind "Please...... Help me.. Come to me.... Here.... I cannot bear the pain....." each of you understood it.

“I hate this place.”, Arthasis whispered as he watched the specter floating above the chasm. After the initial setbacks the group had made good speed but the warlock slowly got the feeling that this whole undertaking was somehow cursed from the beginning. It seemed that at every turn there waited another obstacle which hindered their advance.
“We should probably just ignore this. Wraiths like this one are bound to be a frequent occurrence in a forsaken place like this.”, he said to the group hoping they would all keep their nerve. He then tried to examine the ghost in an attempt to uncover its nature.

Immo-tipede continues to track along the wall above the rest of the party. When the apparition begins to rise out from the abyss below, the creature stops and pulls the front part of its body from the wall to face the ghost. Its antennae begin to wiggle and curl, probing the air in the ghost's direction, trying to sense any deception.

Shuushar would more than readily accept the rope and tie himself. He was enlightened, and so maybe out of touch by most perspective; but, not stupid.
"Clever thinking, Chubby. Let not tragedy bind you as surely as this rope now binds us together."
