[[ Curious as to light levels too. Eggo Lass has devil's sight and superior darkvision so 120ft around is essentially bright light, but for general knowledge. (Can do a dancing lights if it helps the less ocularly inclined. ]]
The cave is dimly lit, with the source of the light coming from the mouth of the tunnel, which Daewen finds shortly after rounding the corner, and clambering up a short slope. The mouth opening is about 10 feet wide, and the first thing you notice is how the outside is almost entirely obscured by a screen of sand, whipped across the opening by the whistling wind. You can taste the dryness of the desert awaiting you on the air, and soon come to realise that the sand isn't your typical sand, rather particles of yellowed dust that smell like the pages of an old, crumbling book. Luckily, that means it's less rough and cutting against your skin compared to a regular sandstorm, although it is distracting. Whilst the dust storm is raging, your field of view is limited to 15 feet in any direction, and you have to shout to be heard effectively over the wind.
Mun moves to pull her hood tightly over her head and steps to be just behind Xarkris, within an arms-reach of his back, trusting his senses more than her own and they step out into parchment storm.
Mirroring Mun, Daewen moves quickly to protect herself, pulling the hood of her own cloak high and drawing the dark fabric of her scarf up to cover her mouth and nose. With her movements soundless even against the wind, Daewen slips through the mouth of the tunnel and into the swirling, book-scented storm, ready to use the meager available light and her stealth to start discerning a direction in this blind, forgotten desert.
Xarkris joins the rest of the party after climbing up the rope. He removes his Sentinel Shield from its secure spot on his back and slides it on his left arm again. He uses his 22 PASSIVE PERCEPTION in an attempt to spot anything of interest in the sandstorm. When his companions show that they are ready, Xarkris takes the lead and puts his massive body between the sand screen and his companions and begins to walk forward.

Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
