Despite Nobody's own words, the tiefling honestly couldn't focus on the search himself along the way. He had been to port cities before, but never in a hundred years -- okay, maybe at least within a hundred years, but certainly not in his youth did he think he'd visit a place like Chult. The sounds, the smells, the people was all so intoxicating. He enough thought he sawa weird lizard creature standing on two legs sprint across the docks for a second or two.
"Can you smell it everyone? That's the smell of culture!"
Nobody takes in another deep wiff of probably still salty ear from the nearby waters.
"And to think we won't really have much time to explore much of it before having to throw ourselves into the deep end within the next few days."

The sailors back at the ship tell your group that the captain is safer where he is, and he should stay there until he is to be jailed.
As you walk to the Harbormaster's Office, Tab looks around but cannot find any beggars, as it seems that you are currently in a higher class area.
This is a stroke of luck for Mel, who spots a Chultan man dressed in fancy clothing, probably a merchant of some kind, striding from the docks, accompanied by two guards.

Mel shadows the merchant, then decides to strike. He nonchalantly walks by the merchant and bumps into him, apologizing profusely for his carelessness. The merchant is indignant, but leaves with a harrumph.
Mel opens the bag and finds... 10 GP! Just some simple pocket change.

Not wanting to stay under the blazing sun for too long, Gynugri enters the Harbormaster's Office with haste and inquires to one of its staff.
"Good day, I would like to have a representative from this office to help us escort a pirate captain from Captain Ortimay's ship called the Brazen Pegasus. Its failed attempt to ransack us lead to his capture and is currently guarded by her sailors. We also heard there was a bounty when turning in such pirates so we would like to know more if you have a list of notorious captains you want to be apprehended immediately."

Believer of the almighty one, the Alpha and the Omega, whose love encompasses all of his creations, RNGesus.
Started as a player at time of registration. Started to DM a month later. Hoping to get better as time progresses.
Your party arrives at the Harbormaster's Office. It is a small building, and there is a bulletin board on the outside listing several guides that are for hire. (If you want to see them just say you're reading it, and I'll throw a bunch of handouts at you guys). The door is closed, but there is a light inside.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Tab sniffs derisively upon seeing the two tabaxi guides. "Let's avoid these two. They look shifty. Shago seems a little too enthusiastic, even for me - I would be fine with Salida or that Qawasha fellow - although anyone who loves salad enough to make a friend out of it is probably one to keep an eye on."

(Can I roll a check to see if I know even a little about Pterafolk?)
Seeing most stop at the bulletin board, Nobody will peer over the shoulder of any that don't step away.
"It is a tough choice. Let say we at least put a pin on that until we collect reward, eh? For like it or not, we might not have the coinage to afford anyone but either Musharib or this Firefinger woman. At least not without give up much of what we just earned."
Nobody starts rubbing his chin.
"Then again, mayhaps there are other opportunities to gain a bit of extra coin here before we leave?"
As everyone mulled over that, he turns to Gyungni--the goblin next, he follows in after him (assuming the door wasn't locked this whole time). In which case, he will try knocking first.

"Oh! OHH! Hey! Keep an eye out on any flying monkeys, by the way!"
Nobody asks of the visible group with eyes gleaming with childish excitement.
"Like seriously! I know its probably just a rumor, but I heard this place is lazy with them and flying snakes."

As we go, if Tab sees any children begging, he'll quietly flip a few coppers their way. (I'll deduct 5 coppers from my stash)

Tab is definitely interested in the bulletin board - he begins reading with single-minded focus.
Gene is also interested in the bulletin board!
HANDOUTS HANDOUTS HANDOUTS!
Acererak throws a bunch of papers at you.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Gene reads through these and puts his finger on Qawasha, "He's local and hates undead. I like him."
Then he steps back and lets others close in to read as well.
