There is a pause as he sees the huge creatures and is in awe for a few moments. " I do not know but they seem tamed enough. As for what we should do next. We can go find the albino dwarf. Though on the way we can briefly look astound the market, though not many of us have gold enough to spend there. Plus we do not know exactly what we need to get, I will assume the guide will. So, after taking to him, we will get a list from him for items needed. Then we can go see Syndra and get any information pertaining to what we are required to know about our quest. Though, before we go see her, we should take a relaxing drink at any of the places that provide drinks and a place to sit." He does pause for a moment and then thinks. " What if Syndra already knows where to find the guides or this merchant Prince does, it may be easier to go there first. Of course after briefly looking at the market and after a good drink and rest."
After that he stays quiet and waits for others opinions.
After failing to connect with nature, Zandak returns to the town where everyone is at. He spots the dinosaurs and freaks out with joy. He runs up to the person who is in charge of these dinosaurs and asks, “These beautiful creatures! How can I have one of these magnificent creatures of nature?!” He gives a wide sharp smile
Grugg sits down and begins to meditate. Quickly realizing it's not helping to pass the time, he starts to do pushups. After doing 200 pushups, he begins jogging in place to keep his blood pumping. To no avail, time just seems to stand still...
The first location you pass by is the large marketplace. It is bustling with activity, with everything from flying monkeys and snakes to spices and medicines. Guards are numerous, yet much less so than beggars and urchins. Tabaxi minstrels and street performers add to the cacophony. It starts to drizzle a bit, but colorful awnings protect against the rain. It is an amazing scene.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Raaldo tries to elbow Grugg in the ribs, but given the height differential it's closer to his thigh. "Look at that!" he says as he points over towards a crowd in the market. There, with all sorts of folk encircling him, is a man juggling flaming swords, but as each one hits the apex of it's arc it bursts into multi-colored sparkles trailing off over the crowd with one slightly larger spark which always whizzes around and then turns back into a flaming sword right as the performer reaches out with an empty hand.

(OOC - Grugg would like to purchase the following from the market: Scale Mail (50gp), Longsword (15gp), Shield (10gp), Rations for 20 days (10gp). Would like to use the money we've been given from the Harbor master. Not sure how much each of us were awarded after the split with Captain Ortimay's group and then amongst ourselves.)
"Grugg love tricks!" Looking towards the juggler in a child-like amazement. Then Grugg turns towards the group and says "First, Grugg buy supplies. Then Grugg find you again. Easy to see above crowd. Hahaha!" Grugg laughs happily, then turns to go purchase his supplies, quite content to wander through the streets, perusing the different shops.)
(DM - In the interest of time, I won't haggle for price and will purchase using prices from the PHB, Ch. 5. I'll deduct the cost from the bounty we received, if you're ok with that approach?)
YOU GUYS DON'T HAVE THE BOUNTY YET, SO YOU CAN'T BUY ANYTHING WITH IT. HOWEVER, YOU DO HAVE THE STUFF YOU TOOK FROM THE PIRATE CAPTAIN, AS WELL AS THE STUFF YOU GOT FROM THE TREASURE.
HERE'S WHAT THE PIRATES HAD:
5 FANCY ART OBJECTS
STUDDED LEATHER COVERED WITH GEMS(GRUGG USING)
SCIMITAR COVERED WITH GEMS(ZANDAK USING)
GREATAXE(KOSADIUS IS USING)
HEAVY CROSSBOW(GRUGG USING)
LIGHT CROSSBOW(ZANDAK USING)
BAG OF POSSIBLY HOLDING(ALVYN)
SCROLL OF DISGUISE SELF(ALVYN)
2 POTIONS OF HEALING(KOSADIUS HAS ONE, OTHER UP FOR GRABS)
(Do we see anybody selling minor magic items at this market (scrolls, potions)? Is insect repellant available here or was that at a different market? Alvyn also took a light crossbow from one of the pirate corpses, ftr)
Alvyn goes with Grugg to buy some rations (20 days worth, for 10gp)
(Oh! I had my exchange rate all wrong on the silver to gold. 20 days of rations (5sp per 1 day) should correctly be 10gp. Thanks, Esker! I caught that on your post when it wasn't the same as my gp rate...lol)
(All - I'd like to take one of the healing potions since I'll be on the front-lines. If there are no objections, I'll add it to my inventory. To purchase my supplies, I'll need 85gp in total. I'm carrying 82gp now. I propose we divide the coinage from the pirate fight up between Grugg, Zandak, Kosadius and Alvyn since that fight occurred prior to Raaldo joining our party. I'll be selling the "studded leather covered with gems" and replacing it with Scale Mail so if those gems raise the value of the item significantly, I'll divide with the group, including Raaldo for this one. If anybody has any objections to that, please voice them.)
(DM - are you going to RP with Grugg's haggling over the value of the studded leather vest? I want to be sensitive to your RL time constraints. :)
OOC: Agree - Raaldo should not share in loot nor in reward. He wasn't there.
"Hey, wait up," Raaldo calls to the gnome as he and Grugg head off towards the market. "I'm in search of a flute. Never know when a little tune may lift your heart." Raaldo offers a deep laugh. As they walk through the market, he spies an old man with a few instruments for sale. He stops and talks to the man for a while, getting the impression that he was there for reasons other than as an instrument vendor. But they continued talking discussing past travels as Raaldo looked around. Finally after much discussion the old man showed Raaldo a simple but beautifully carved wooden flute. Raaldo blew a few whimsical notes and with a great big smile, handed the dealer the 2GP he asked for the flute. "I thank you good sir, may you have a notedly good day", he said and blew a final note on the flute before dashing off to catch up with the others.

(Go for the healing potion, Grugg. Sounds good to me. In my opinion we should share the gold with Raaldo. We're in this together. At the least, if there are any key items Raaldo needs, we should buy them for him. Aside: I propose that Kosadius tries to haggle to sell the art objects, etc. from the ship, since he is the most persuasive of us.)
(Agreed on buying whatever supplies Raaldo needs. Also agreed on having Kosadius do the haggling. I shoulda given him the studded leather covered in gems...)
( Agrees to help others with what the require for them to survive and help the group out. Kosadius does not need much and if need be he can sell the great axe, he can use warhammer two handed anyways. Yes, Kosadius will negotiate and hope the dice god's are with us. )
(As long as we split up the coinage that we currently have, Grugg will have enough to buy his supplies. He won't need to borrow anything. Let's vote though to split up the coinage from the Pirate fight amongst those who were present, or those we have now. Basically, should Raaldo be given poor Eili's share. lol. I vote Eili's share goes to Raaldo for the sake of coming to a consensus sooner. Alvyn looks like he votes the same in favor of Raaldo getting coinage. Kosadius, it appears you'd vote that way too?If that's all true, then the split would be 5 ways: each receiving 16gp, 140sp, 360cp. All in favor say "Arrr!")

Alvyn stands behind Zandak, curious about the dinosaurs as well, but also a bit wary and wanting to keep a safe distance.

(So be it! Let’s add the coinage to our coin pouches.)
