Raaldo takes another large gulp of the draught, taking in what Salida has to say. "You certainly raise some fine points," he replies to her, "and we do need a good guide. By the way," Raaldo continues as he nods his head and lowers his voice, "have you heard of anything out of the ordinary happening around here lately?" Raaldo was curious if she may have additional information about Mezro or the dinosaur-man that one of the other patrons mentioned earlier in the evening.
Raaldo was cautiously coming around to Salida's point of view. He tries to catch each of the other party members eyes as he gives a very slight questioning nod in her direction as if to silently convey, I'm willing, what d'you think?

Kosadius keeps on listening to the woman, taking a bit of drink as he does. She seems convincing enough to himbut he studies her. Her voice, the way she talks, just to see if she is not trying to pull a fast one on them.
Insight check: 9
So, after a while, he is convinced she may be their guide, yet not all the party members are present.
" Alright, here is my thought. Not all our party members are present at this time. You come back tomorrow in the morning. If all are in agreement at that time, we can see if we will make you our guide. If yes, then your or guide for everything in this place and jungle. If it's true you know everything about this place Chult, do you have a map of it? "
"Thank you very much for considering me, I am very grateful. As for unusual things...(100) Recently on one of my escapades into the forest, I found a strange shrine. It had a maze carved into it, and when I traced my finger through it, it glowed and suddenly I knew every single step of the path to a landmark I had been heading to. That is all. And if I had a map of Chult, I would not have to be risking my life being a guide. Chult is practically unmappable, and I've been more concerned with keeping my groups alive than with distracting myself with drawing a map and ending up getting us all killed like poor M'Bandawa did. I shall come here again at ssunrise, sound good?"
Holding his mug of ale up high, Raaldo wishes Salida a good evening, then stands, finishes his fine ale and bids a good nights rest to the others in the party. "Salida may be a fine guide. We can all discuss over our morning meal. I am curious about Mezro and this Dinosaur-Man. Keep your ears open. Something seems amiss." Setting down his emptied mug, he heads off for a nights sleep.
OOC - Salida ok with me per story line.

(I vote Musharib as well, because Salida seems mean-spirited and racist, and also because Alvyn would want to stick with the option he pulled for in the first place)
OOC - Well... the pale-skinned man could be the white dwarf? And that was my first choice as well. But I feel like in game, Salida convinced Raaldo with that persuasion roll. So I think Raaldo at this point would go Salida. So Salida 1st, Musharib 2nd for me.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
He was active 3 days ago... tell you what. I'll play him as NPC for now, and if he doesn't come back, we'll have to find a new player. I'll just roll randomly for his decision right now.
1-10=Salida, 11-20=Musharib.
EDIT: Forgot to actually roll. Here it is, the fateful roll...
The light begins to dance across the floor as the sun rises above the horizon and the warm rays of morning find their way into Raaldo's room. He belts out a hearty yawn as he stretches awake and sits up in the bed. His stomach grumbles a little and his head feels a little more compressed than ones head should feel. Maybe a wee bit less ale tonight, he thinks to himself and then lets out an audible chuckle. Mouthwatering aromas begin to permeate the morning air lifting him to his feet. Raaldo dresses and heads down to the main hall to break the days first bread. As he enters the great room he finds a table large enough for he and his fellow travelers and waves one of the servers over. "Looks like a fine morning," he says with a smile. "Something smells delightful, I'll take a nice hearty plate this morning. Anything of interest happen over night?" he asks.

(Sure, it's day now. There wasn't really much else to do, and nothing was happening. Thanks for taking the initiative like that, Penguini. If, in the future, any of you feel the story isn't really progressing, feel free to do something similar to that.)
(And feel free to post if you did anything that night)

(Grugg will go along with the group. His preference would be for pursuing the greatest treasures and powerful rewards.)
SO, WHAT'RE YOU GUYS DOING NOW? THE LIGHT IS FADING FAST, YOU MIGHT HAVE TIME TO DO ONE MORE THING BEFORE IT'S COMPLETELY DARK.

(Let's go with majority vote. Grugg would vote to take the white-Dwarf as their guide because he wants to seek out the gauntlet as a treasure.)
(I vote Musharib as well, because Salida seems mean-spirited and racist, and also because Alvyn would want to stick with the option he pulled for in the first place)
"Darvin" | Changeling | Hexblade 1 / Swords Bard 6 | Descent Into Avernus (AC 19; PP 14; 52/52 HP)
Anton Chergoba | Human | Battlemaster 4 | Lost Mines of Phandelver (AC 20; PP 14; 36/36 HP)
OOC - Well... the pale-skinned man could be the white dwarf? And that was my first choice as well. But I feel like in game, Salida convinced Raaldo with that persuasion roll. So I think Raaldo at this point would go Salida. So Salida 1st, Musharib 2nd for me.

(By man, he clearly meant man, and not dwarf or elf or frog or vegetable.)
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
OOC - So info was quite literal :-) My votes are still Salida 1st, Musharib 2nd given story line and persuasiveness

Votes:
Grugg - Musharib (White Dwarf)
Alvyn - Musharib (White Dwarf)
Raaldo - Salida
Kosadius - ???
Zandak - ???
(Kosadius would vote Salida. For one, she is right there and available. Very convincing argument and my guy could not tell if she was lying. )
(Ooh, the suspense is killing me!)

IT'S ALL UP TO ZANDAK NOW!
