Forsure it best for us not to separate

Examining the monolith it looks exactly as the previous one you encountered. There are seven names carved into the face of it with no other noticeable markings. Julien as you run your hand along the monolith there is a subtle pulse. The next thing you know you're surrounded by black, you can hear running water echoing, as if you're in a cave, but you're still touching the fairly warm surface of the monolith. Everyone else, you watch as Julien vanishes from your sight after he moves his hand across the surface of the monolith.

Bastmao will run his hand on the monolith as well in the same way Julien did

Thokk will quickly grab Bastmao's left shoulder, just before he touches the monolith.

As Bastmao touches the monolith he disappears with the same subtle pulse that took Julien. Thokk, you grab his shoulder and you make physical contact, but he vanishes and you lose contact. Julien, you hear someone right behind you all of a sudden, Bastmao you can see Julien standing in front of you with one hand on the monolith. It's pitch black you can only see with your 60' of dark vision.

Julien would freeze when the blackness took over his vision, immediately assuming it was some sort of vision from Ilmater.  But when Bastmao appeared behind him as well, he would realize it was caused by the monolith somehow.  "Where are we?  Do you hear that sound. "

He will look around in all directions, seeing if there is anything besides blackness to see.  Perception 4

Feeling like he has no choice but to follow his companions, Thokk will reluctantly touch the monolith.

You can't see anything Julien, it's completely dark. Thokk and Bastmao, looking around you're in a cave similar to the one you were in before the island except you can hear the faint trickle of water. Your hand is still touching the monolith, unless you decide to pull away. The monolith looks the same.

Are you all okay? that was a strange sudden occurrence I hear little water bit of water trickling faintly I still have the rope from before to tie around use so we don't get lost. Bastmao will use his perception 18

Julien takes his hand off the monolith.

OOC: What are you trying to perceive Bastmao? If it's the cave, it's dark, you're using your darkvision in order to see. There is a small pond to the left of the cave where the water is trickling into from the ceiling of the cave and if you move far enough ahead you can see another monolith further down the tunnel.

That's what was trying to perceive the cave. Hey everyone stay onto me and hold on there is a small pond to the left of the cave there is also another monolith this way.  

Thokk follows Bastmao 

Renn touches the monolith then follows.

Moving through the cave the only sounds with the exception of the water is you. Bastmao, Thokk, and Renn can tell there doesn't seem to be any movement within the pool of water. The monolith on the other side of the cave looks the same, except it only has 6 names carved into it.

Thokk will try to carve Jank-Dank’s name on the monolith using his orcish claws. If anything bad happens, at least it’d be to that annoying little vengeful gnome, he thinks to himself...

As you begin touching the monolith to execute your plans, you once again warp to another room. This one small, bright, and very hot. You're on a small island in the middle of a cave. Surrounding you is a very large lake of lava. About 30' from you is another monolith. This one only has 5 names on it.

OOC: It seems I've lost all of our players besides you and possibly Bastmao and Julien.

For now, Thokk will wait to see if his companions follow him into this lava room.

Renn touches the monolith to catch up to the others.
