Amaruve, you stomp at the base of the horn, breaking it roughly from the unicorn's head. As you do so, a small bubble of energy blasts outward, dealing 6 psychic damage to both you and Jean. However, the bubbling ooze drains away from the fragment, leaving you with a 2 foot length of pure white unicorn horn. A soft spiral winds its way around its length to its razor-sharp point like the world's most beautiful drill bit.

The sun finally slips completely below the horizon. The sky darkens, and several spotlights click into blinding life, illuminating the tower in a sudden glare. 

The black ooze ceases its bubbling. It is now just a perfectly still, circular, quiet mass of darkness on the roof. 

Gordra will take a moment to check out his companions and his own new form in this plane.

In your minds, you hear the Pretender's voice tear into you, "Quite the observation, professor! I agree- that was MUCH too easy!"

A roar erupts from the black mass. You realize immediately that its not a puddle- its a hole. A long, bone-yellow limb reaches up and out of it, wicked talons scrabbling at the stones of the rooftop. It is followed by another, and a pair of wings, and a long, sinewy neck complete with a grinning, terrible dragon head.

It's a wyvern, and it roars again as it takes flight.

We're back in the same initiative order! After Cordelia's move, it lands heavily upon the roof in the middle of you all, biting at Perspicacious and whipping its tail at Jean.

Bite: 8 Damage: 8 (piercing damage vs. Perspicacious)

Cordelia grumbles as she sees the Pretender is still around. What a pain. From her position, she takes a pop shot at the now-wyvernesque Pretender. Doesn't this guy know when to quit? Nothing annoyed her more than clingy people. After her attack, she continues to move and try to find places to hide.

Action: Shortbow Attack: 11 (if advantage here is my other roll: 15), Damage: 7 piercing (if I have advantage, then I also have sneak attack, which deals an extra: 8)
Movement: Trying to find a place nearby to change cover and hide from the Pretender.
Bonus Action: Cunning Action -> hide. Stealth: 22

If Amaruve is able, he tries for the Opportunity as the Wyvern flies past.

Cordelia's arrow blooms from the wyvern's chest as Amaruve scores three gashes in the beast's hindlimb. Infuriated by these attacks, both his bite and his tail swipe miss their marks.

His eyes are a deep bloodshot red.

The wyvern's tail slams harmlessly against Jean's shield. "A better choice - but still futile!" She called out at him.

On his initiative, Amaruve bounds after the creature Recklessly attacking with teeth and claws (attacks against him have advantage), hitting
14 for 12 slashing, and
24 for 11 piercing.

His teeth and claws drip with the beasts blood and he is invigorated with the Wild Hunt his features somehow grow more fierce, he ascends beyond the form of a bear. His nostrils flare, and his pupils dilate. (Shifting, Wildhunt. Not exclusive with Wild Shape)

The black hole in the roof bubbles for a moment and shrinks a bit, then it is still once again

Gordra keeps his distance and places his hands together to form a cone of flame, hoping to catch the wyvern in it.

The wyvern attempts to snake out of the path of the flame.

...but takes a face-full of fire. 

The quiet coming from the black circle on the roof is shattered. Bursting from its surface is a Bone Naga

 ...which leads the initiative order! 

The Bone Naga casts Call Lightning. The sky immediately darkens further as thick clouds begin to swirl around and above the roof. Flashes of lightning begin to spark ominously around the spire. A point on the roof equidistant between Perspicacious and Gordra suddenly glows blue just an instant before a bolt crashes down from the heavens. 

DEX save DC 12 for half damage

Damage: 15

The surface of the black puddle again bubbles with heat. Gordra, with your 19 perception roll from earlier, you see that it is growing slightly smaller every time it bubbles.

As Amaruve turns to leap after the Wyvern, this skeletal snake appears. Rather than leave the new threat in his wake he turns to address it.
