The five of you manages to enter the cave quite silently. The cave is about 15 feet wide and 15 feet tall, it has few turns but it seemed linear without branching tunnels.
Few minutes walking in while looking for traps sign, Chenna sees a wire laid low about 10 inch above the ground level. As Chenna looks closely, the wire is connected to a piton on a right side on the wall, the wire goes through from the ground up to the wall and goes all the way into the deeper part of the cave.
From this point, all of you can hear muttering sound, but you can't hear it clearly.
Chenna will step over the wire with one foot and help others step over it carefully as well. Moving forward he will try to keep the wire in sight. Should it disappear into a wall somewhere, that's where he would stop and investigate (17) further. Otherwise just closer to the sound.

Chenna helps Vortrin and Waft, and both easily pass over the wire, however Aeros stumble on his step, kicking the wire and cuts it!
In a few seconds the wire wooshes fast through the piton and on further to the cave, and you can hear sounds of *bells*. Then small muttering sounds become nervous screams, and suddenly barking sound can be heard from afar.

There's few moments before the sounds of unintelligible screams and barkings come closer (if you want to prepare or do something). If anyone intend to immediately get into fighting stance, roll your initiative with advantage.
(There will be no surprise round as you re expecting one another)

If nothing hostile gets within 30 ft then Chenna will cast Light on a torch and throw it in the corridor in front of them as well.
Also, is there a narrower part or a bend in the corridor where we could create a choke point? If so, Chenna will move there and ready action a javelin for anyone who gets within 30ft.
Yes, few feet in front of you now is a narrower part of the passage thats only about 10 feet wide instead of 15 feet wide like other part of the cave you see

Listening to this, Chenna says, "I can see in the dark and I'm pretty sturdy" and tries to quietly enter the cave. Stealth with disadvantage: 17
Aeros will follow chenna's lead.

Ooc: i rolled so good no one can see me, i cant even see me in this darkness.
Aeros hopes that his lack of sight will be ok in his endevours to stay hidden will not be countered lol.
Vortin will follow into the cave, staying towards the back so he doesn't get in the way of the other two.
