With her darkvision Zerys can see two goblins up ahead (Markas, with his, can see one of them). The goblins are brandishing their spears once again. Out of the darkness, you hear one of them yell in the common tongue, "we are not afraid of you, but you are afraid of us! Come fight us, cowards!" You hear their hideous laughter.
