Seeing Jun's effort to deescalate the fight with these two strangers, Cassie hesitates to launch more fire in their direction. Instead, she takes a deep breath and follows the instructions she learned from her former captain on how to help her fire deal less harm.
Stepping forward to stand close but not right next to Jun, she waves her hand and whispers a quiet word, causing an aura of faint, almost ethereal flames to completely surround her.
"I suggess ye listen to ma friend here, or this could get bad for ye real quick."
To clarify, Cassie is using a creative application of Dancing Lights here. She is basically using the combined spheres option to make a humanoid shape, but she is centering that shape on herself, and since her Dancing Lights spell visually looks like flames (she IS a pyromancer after all...) the overall effect is that she herself looks to be on fire and completely unphased by it.
(Posting from phone and I'm not sure how to type out an advatage roll, so I will just roll twice. Also, Jun has an 8 CHA, so if this works...)

Dwindlejoy and Grady look with some bemusement at the glowing figure in front of them, but turn sharply at the sound of Jun's voice. Despite his wounds, Dwindlejoy in particular looks like he is gloating over some private joke. Grady lowers, but does not put away, his weapon, before breaking the silence.
"These folks may have a proposition for us," the squat man begins. "It couldn't hurt to listen to them. What about it, Dwindlejoy?"
At this point, we are (at least temporarily) out of initiative. We can rejoin at Dekket should the need arise, but players here have created an opportunity to explore outside of combat.
Arvel makes his way across the room having picked up the kitten that was cowering behind him. He holds it and pets it to soothe it as he addresses Dwindlejoy and Grady.
"Zee proposition is simpail. Zere has been an 'orrific accident, but fortunately everyone is safe and sound. No doubt an Armar and 'is Privates are rapidly responding to zee emergency. Now, zey can eizzer arrive and find zee fire out and everyone 'unky-dory...
...speaking of which, Aerys? Orynn? Can you please check on zee drivair?
...OR zey can find zee two of you 'aving attacked zis poor, innocent woman in front of..."
Aerys sheathes his scimitars and wipes his brow and takes a long look around the tavern and shouts to Durnan, "Sorry about your wall! Look at the bright side, you have some brooms to sweep it up with!" He chuckles and notices that Orynn is looking in the carriage and will walk over by him to make sure everything is a-okay.
The subject of the carriage and its occupants had been nagging on Rue's mind, but... the conversation on the other side of room was drawing him forward. Seeing that others were now inspecting the carriage, Rue picks up the jug of water from their old table and moves around (and away from) the edge of the pit toward Jun and the others.
Using a somewhat garbled mixture of languages once more, Rue eventually says something like "...saw you toss this person into the pit, non?" Rue gestures toward wherever the librarian's gone off to.
As Grady and DJ settle down, Jun smoothly sheathes his blade and walks over to check on Leilani.

Orynn finds no driver in the carriage...no evidence of any passengers, either, other than the various bits of luggage like the trunk that disgorged the brooms, the last of which is easily dispatched.
Grady regards the Warlock with a look of innocent confusion. "Dwindlejoy, the accent is hard to understand, but I do believe this man thinks we were on the attack! Lies and slanders! Why, I saw a woman in distress, and tried to make my way there!" He bows to Rue and the flustered and not a little angry librarian. "If I inadvertently nudged somebody in my haste to assist, I apologize. If we were attacking," he concludes with a smile that does not reach his eyes, "you'd know."
"Understandable, Grady, really," Dwindeljoy adds, in a voice devoid of emotion. He holds an arrow, recently plucked from his side. "What is not understandable is the use of lethal weapons in a tavern, in this haven from the night Durnan provides."
Jun responds vocally to DJ's comment but otherwise shows no sign that either of the weasels are nearby.
"Then maybe next time you should stay out of the way when brave men try to protect innocents from rampaging broomsticks. No doubt you noticed how chaotic things got in here."

Rue frowns at Jun's choice of words for a few moments, but it grows into a thoughtful expression.
"Interesting...," he says to Grady and Dwindlejoy. "I know lying, of course, but retelling the recent past to those who witnessed the events... Do you find that this is effective?" Rue seems genuinely interested. At least, he's faintly smiling and stares at Grady with bright and rather intense eye contact.
" I would hesitate calling my friend a liar. He is not the one who felt it necessary to draw a weapon while "accidently" shoving a man into the portal on your way to assist a woman in distress on the opposite side of the tavern from the crashed carriage and fire."
Jun looks directly into Leilani's eyes as he finishes,
"Exactly what kind of distress did you see her in?"

Dwindeljoy tosses two arrows on the ground, and says drily "Ah - this must be the part where you ask questions - after you and your friends shoot first."
Still staring in Leilani's eyes, looking for some kind of sign of what the weasels were after, Jun responds,
"As I said, my friends and I did what we had to do in the chaos of the moment to save lives. Now we just need to figure out what happened in case further action is needed."
As he finishes, he rests his hand on his blade, but still refuses to look in the direction of the two.
