Sariel extends his hand and a small dark cloud surrounds is. The Kenku squaks and brings his hands up to his ears in pain as his bell is run (literally) for 5 necrotic damage. As he doubles over, Gargan runs up, opens his mouth and a jet of acid spews forth from his mouth, covering all three with K3 taking the brunt of the acid damage (6 to K3, 3 to K1 and 2).
Dori seems reinvigorated watching the one Kenku get beaten down, and heals up 8 hit points.
(Yikes! My bad. I missed the baddies go last part.)
Sizan gets to his only to duck back towards the north, and hopefully far out of sight for an Kenku. He almost freezes as things become all the more chaotic down below from jets of acid and thunder. But the man was a professional. One that got /exactly/ what he bargained for, and more...
Maybe next time he'll try to find other agents in the future though.
As you thrust your hand forward a thorny vine extends from it, thrashing the Kenku and pulling towards you. As the vine releases the birdman slumps to the ground in front of you.
K2, watching his comrade fall, drops his bow, pulls out his shortswords and runs at you screaming "Xanathar sends its regards!". He brings his blade down across your chest, leaving a gaping wound pouring with blood. You take 5 damage, and fall unconscious on top of the other kenku beside you.
K1 fires another shot at Dori, but he just manages to duck out of the way, letting the arrow sink into the wall behind him.
K4 lets an arrow loose at Gargan. It flies through the air, tears through his shoulder and pins him to the wall behind him. He passes out from the pain and remains hanging up against the wall, weight supported by the sunken arrow.
Gargan and Cloudfur are down. K1 and 2 have minor injuries and K4 is unscathed. Sariel, Dori, Sizan -Your move.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dori continued his charge, clambering up the crates before him, then dropping down behind k2 with battleaxe high above his head planning to split the kenku in half. Upon landing, the goliath would turn and hurl his hand axe at k1.

Sizan Sidrosin
(Huh. I guess Cloudfur didn't commit to the Thunder Wave. Time to get Sizan's hand's dirty I guess.)
Sizan creeps his way closer to the edge again to survey the battle. After seeing two of his new compatriots fallen again, Sizan glances back once to the way he came, considering options for a moment. But the moment passes with him ultimately sliding another dart free, and with a grimace flinging it either at the leg of Dori's still just barely standing adversary(K2), or if no longer standing, the one at by the stairs(K1). Again, he does not linger before rushing to the next set of what appeared to be crates and boxes on the opposite side of the stairs.
(Non-Lethal)Kunai Attack: 10 Damage: 11 Piercing. (Includes Sneak Attack) If at Advantage from being Hidden Last turn: 13.

(OOC - yeah since I was last in initiative order - my thunderwave would more than likely hit at least one of my companions so I switched tactics - thought in hindsight I should have just stayed back and cast cure wounds on myself hehe)

Gargan
As the arrow pins him to the wall for the briefest of moments Gargan loses consciousness...but as his head begins to slump he is suddenly jolted awake, his eyes having turned obsidian black and a deep coldness having emanated from the wound and penetrating his entire body. The cold touch of the shadow within him not only protected him from the worst of the wound but with it came absolute clarity. The anger having passed he pulls himself off the wall and moves to take cover at the nearest crates before looking to retaliate with a fire bolt at the opponent who shot at him.
Moving to below the crates underneath cloudfur and k2 and casting fire bolt at k4 if I have sight on him.
Spell Attack roll: 9 dealing 7 fire damage on a hit.
Sariel is shaken at the damage caused to his friends. He retaliates, casting Toll the Dead again on K2. The creature screams in pain as the ringing in his head scrambles his brains for 9 damage. He then turns and extends his hand, surrounded by a warm glow, to Cloudfur, using Healing Word, restoring consciousness and healing him for 7.
As the creature cowers, holding his ears, Dori runs up behind him and literally cuts him in half - his axe cleaving it's head and left shoulder completely from it's body. He turns and hurls his axe towards the other one behind but it goes wind, embedding itself in the wall behind.
From the top of the stairs Sizan runs from behind one set of crates, leaps across as he hurls a dart towards K1 and ducks behind another set of crates. Unfortunately the dart falls short of its target, skidding across the floor into a group of crates.
Gargan reaches up, pulls the arrow out from the wall and his shoulder, runs over past Cloudfur, leaps on top of the crates and turns towards K4 with a look of vengeance on his face. He mutters an incantation and extends hands forth as a small ball of fire rockets from his hand through the air and squarely hits the creature in the chest for 9 damage. It reels in pain as the fire spreads up his shoulder and down his arm, incinerating most of his feathers and charring his armour. He's still standing but looks extremely hurt.
Cloudfur gets up, shakes his head, hisses at K1 and then then extends his hand forth again to cast Thorn Whip again, lashing the bird man for 4 damage.
Sensing the futility of the situation, the Kenku try to make a break for it. K1 darts for the door to the south while K4 makes a run for the stairs to leave out the upper exit. As K1 jump on the crates to run past Dori, he brings his axe up. He realizes that there would be some benefit to just knocking it out and interrogating it, but then can't resist the urge and just buries his axe right into its abdomen. The Kenku wails and falls to the ground where it flails around, blood gushing from it's gut. Dori wrenches his axe out of the creature, looks towards the last remaining foe and points at him yelling "WHERE IS THE BEAUTIFUL RED HAIRED MAN NAMED FLOON!?"
As he gets halfway up the stairs, the final Kenku looks around, seeing Sizan with another dart poised at the top of the stairs and the others coming at him from below, the birdman drops his bow and sinks to his knees and raises its arms. In a scratchy voice it says “No time to loot the place. Just get him to the boss!"
(I took a few liberties here since there was quite a bit going on. Always welcome feedback on this from you all).
(I read it, but didn't process it. Deleted that post.)
As the battle subsides, Dori straps the battle axe to his back as he walks to grab the hand axe to place back on his hip. With question already asked to the kenku, there wasn't much else he'd have to say.
(@Eremis Sariel got him up last turn with a healing word, so no worries there.)
"That, my friend, is the most intelligent thing you have done all day."Sizan states as he drew his Short Sword while keeping the dart at the ready. Only once "appropriately" equipped for any melee shenanigans, he motions for the Kenku to get up, and start making his way back down the stairs to the rest of the group at sword point. His sword is ever at the ready along the way.
"Now I do believe my compatriots here are owed answers. I need not warn you how it is in your best interest to be truthful. Do I?" He asked, but waits no more than a heart beat before saying, "Good. I'm glad we reached an accord. Grey man and... cat man. Do restrain yourselves this time, if you would. This next part is a delicate matter." He warns, giving them both a cold look before his gaze settles back on the Kenku.
"Question One. What happened here? No wait." He glances over to some of the bodies. "I think I've figured that one out as well as two. So let's skip to Question Three. Where are the two red-haired men that were taken here? One was clearly taken judging by your prior statement, but I need more. And Four. Why were you ordered to take them here?"
Gargan moves round after the Kenku that Yazara is questioning and adds to his companions questions: “They did not bring them here friend, they came here to take them from the Zhentarim. The question is, why were you ordered to take them FROM here?” As he finishes Gargan uses prestidigitation to create a harmless streak of flame that shoots past the Kenku, awfully similar to the fire bolt he struck it with a few moments ago.
The Kenku looks around in sheer panic. It squawks and says in a thin, nasally voice: "Tie up the pretty boy in the back room!” and then after a moment “Follow the yellow signs in the sewers.” The creature looks fairly terrified at this point. It looks at each of you in turn longingly as if asking if that's enough.

Yes those are large crates, so I'll say 5 to get up on them and then normal movement from there. You'd just make it coming up behind him.
