The carriage seems to swiftly move deeper and deeper into the depths of the water. The illumination of the daylight through the water diminishes as it gets ever darker. After a couple of minutes in apparent complete darkness and the weight of the water applying its pressure to the party, there is a glimmer of light off in the distance. Peering over to the source of light, there appears to be a large city built on the oceanic floor, where a blue illumination highlights the large buildings made of a strange stone and metal.
(Kinda like the pic in the spoiler)
As the carriage arrives closer to the largest building, the water pressure seems to alleviate as the sharks descend towards what appears to be a large bubble by the side of what must be assumes to be the palace of their 'king'. The carriage releases the sharks and drifts through into the air pocket, landing on the ground with a thud.
(It's a breathable atmosphere, though everyone is pretty drenched.)
During his short and meager stay at the timeless city of Tu'narath, does Elirdain had an inkling on what historical underwater empire lives on this water-filled planet?

Elyza instinctively coughs water out and squeezes water out of her garb. "All my materials are wet. Lucky I keep all the important stuff like that grass sample and my potions in air tight containers."
As the group leaves the cart the first sights of these folk unarmoured becomes visible (in spoiler below). The blue-skinned humanoids seem to glance on from afar, somewhat interested with what is going on in the bubble of air. Approaching the group is one of their number, garbed in what appears to be a robe made of scintillating rainbow scales, who speaks quietly with one of the armoured folk. They then begin to cast a spell upon themselves and walk over to the group. The figure then speaks in perfect common, though their mouth doesn't appear to match the words leaving their lips.
"Far travellers, speak freely. Where dost thou hale from?"
There is a few seconds of the robe-clad figure contemplating the answer. "Thou came from the stars then?" He comments. "There hath been tales of yore that tell of beings beyond the night sky. Perhaps His Majesty will be appeased enough of your tales to forgo thy wrongdoings."
"As much as we want to share our tales with your highness, proper procedures must be done before we continue."
Elirdain stares at the robe-clad figure with serious intent before he continues.
"First and foremost, a banquet must be prepared. It doesn't have to be a fancy one, even a simple dinner would suffice. We immediately complied with your requests after we unknowingly entered your restricted island. As this is our first time encountering with your kind, what we did was quite exceptional and shows that we mean no harm. Our current outfits may not reflect it but we are ambassadors, high-ranking diplomats, official envoys of the planet Evadil.
Also, what better time would be to tell stories but in a festive mood supplied with delicious delicacies and fine liquor. Your highness would be pleased during our conversation and what retainer would not want to see their superior filled and delighted at the same time?"

Elyza sensing that Elirdain isn't being very Persuasive, decides to jump in.
"He speaks the truth. We have been sent to the stars to find out the inhabitants of the other worlds in our system and make contact. We mean you no offense. We are simply here as representatives of our world. I also agree that dinner creates the best mood for stories and fosters good will. "
"You are not subjects of His Majesty, you have not rights here." The robed fish-person states with an accusing hand. "Until His Majesty has made a decision, you have no say in this matter. Now come, His Majesty is expecting you."
The guards around the group have their tridents readied, once again seemingly making a box-like formation around the group to escort them.
Vyserra had watched this interaction from the side and is definitely facepalming while she walks beside the rest of them. Good job, guys. You tried.

The party is escorted into the large building ahead of them. It appears that there are air pockets within the buildings as well. For what reason is unknown, as these folk appear to be able to survive underwater without the need for breathing apparatus. Being led towards a large set of double doors lined with a beautiful silver inlay the guards stop you. The robed figure speaks again. "If you are to meet His Majesty, you shall relinquish your weapons. It is a grave offence to wield arms within His Majesty's presence."
Elyza says, "Weapons? I have no weapons. I am a doctor; all I have are surgical knives and a doctor's stick."
The surgical knives in question are large sharp knives used to cut bodies and sometimes even bones during dissection or surgery. The doctor's stick has a very long and very pointy and sharp pike at the end. It is used to poke at infectious cadavers and open pores to let body fluids out. Of course, the surgical knives work very effectively as daggers while the doctor's stick is comparable to a rapier. These things are like those farming tools which, though not intended to be used as such, could be used as deadly weapons. Elyza knows this but she's hoping the fishman doesn't. She isn't going to resist if he still tells her to get rid of her "tools". She also didn't lie about her tools since they were designed for the purposes she said they were designed for. She's just hoping they fishman doesn't think of the offensive applications of her "tools".
Elyza grumbles and takes her mask off. She seems somewhat panicked at this revelation. In fact, she seems to be more worried about catching some alien disease than her loss of plague gear.

One of the guards tells the robed figure something in aquan.
"Yes, and the sky-devil face will also need to be removed. Those items are weapons, and will be kept out of His Majesty's presence."
(Effectively is anyone trying to stow a small weapon upon themselves as they appear to be stripped of weapons?)

(And everyone catches the space plague! :-p )
