Beedo spends maybe a half a minute contemplating whether or not he could really shoot one to really set the gaints one one another. Deciding however that he licked living far more, the goblin snuck back away to relay the situation to the group. "Unfortunate on many accounts. It is possible they will yet remain in hopes the tower shelter will be sufficient to outlast the rain, but we should not rely on luck alone... Not that-..." D.O.R.K covers her mouth piece in shock, then bowed her head muttering in dwarvish for the next few moments.
"Sooooo, we go'a plan or w'at?" Beedo chimes in, breaking the constructs downward spiral. "... I..." She looks to the hill. "... We give one more minute. If they have not devolved into physical blows by then, or sent one of their own out to search for those 'responsible' for the damage to their home, then... we will have to bait them out into the opening."

Hearing that the giants were still alive and arguing Devin decides he wants to hear what they are talking about. He carefully moves forward approaching the tower until he can hear what they are saying.
As he gets close enough - about 60 feet away - to hear them: 1. squabbling over the ogre carcasses "that's a nice bit you've got dearie", "well he's armless now", etc.; 2. arguing about the storm and what have they done to so anger Annam that he has destroyed their home, 3. one of the giants looks directly at Devin and turning to another giant says "Ma there is something moving over there. Do you think we can eat it?"who then looks and says "ah yes I see it. Eat it I don't know - maybe?"
@DM, per post #2971 the carcasses of the ogres and the bugbears should be in a nice pile to distract the hill giant(s) as they move down from the tower.

Devin listens for a bit and then heads back to the others. "They just kept right on eating, though I think one of them may have spotted me. They don't even seem to remember we are out here and think their home was wrecked by a god rather than us."
D.O.R.K shakes her head to the sides. "Why care for the worms that crawl in the dirt when you are a greater being than it? No, only the mighty wyrm or the fury of gods are of any notable concern." She recites some old passage that Torunn would recognize from a favored book of hers. "Hm..."
(@Grant: Two things. Do the bonds on the chained giant looked as if something Beedo would be able to remove? And did it potentially look as if there were angles to actually do it discretely?)

Yes they do but he would have to get behind the giant as he is still shackled to the bit of remaining wall.
(@Grant: Forgot to ask this last time as well, but are they even slightly visible from where we are? WHich should roughly be about 80 to 100ft by my last reckoning)
D.O.R.K nods inwardly, and then shares a look with Beedo. Even before she can say anything, the goblin vehemently shaking his head. "Wit all do respect, boss... Naw. I done alo'a crazy stuff up until now, but 'ere's executing a well planned... er, plan! 'nd 'ere's act'n like yer gods ain't give ya' a melon to work wit." After a silent moment, Dork actually nods in agreement. "Forgive me.. and thank you."She said leaving the goblin shocked as she turned to the others. "We will have to adapt as things are. And prepare to engage them within the next minute before the chained one is freed or frees himself. For while I still think he could be a useful element, attempting to free one to likely be a chaotic one in this circumstances is too dangerous. So, unless there are any last objections, on my mark we will commence our attack, advancing quietly as necessary under the power of Acolyte Ebonitus magic, but striking them down tonight. When the fighting starts, focus your efforts one one at a time."

"Well that was a shame, I really thought that would do some more damage." he then looks around at the group, "But not unlike a flame, I don't like being in the rain for extended periods of time, whats the plan? Are we clearing out the giants or do we move on?"
"It's all a shame," Lukian remarks, shaking his head. "Why do these creatures have to be so ... single-minded?" He turns his face up to the dark sky. The rain patters down on his face, causing his eyelids to flutter. "My Lord, if there is another way, please make it clear to your servant." He looks again at Dork and sighs. "My blade is yours."
"I'm with you Ebonitus. Let's take care of these giants. They seem too stupid to learn anything from and need to be cleared out to make the area safer for the more goodly folks." Devin says.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Was waiting to have clarified on if we had the angle to see them before truly advancing, but f'it! X) Let's advance and "try" to be stealthy about it with Ebon's Pass Without Trace up.)
D.O.R.K nods to all, then looks to the rise. Seeing as they didn't quite have the angle to take advantage of distance against the giants, she silently accepted the risks, and would move to lead the group. "The rain will help mask our approach. But, do try to be quiet along the way. We'll only get one shot to take them unaware, and we must hopefully down at least one within that moment."She says to the group. Of which, Vark eventually joins them at a previous beckoning, leaving Mr. G a more than fair enough distance away from any giant that would take an interest in the giant, grey mount.
The party huddles together under the protection of Ebonitus' Pass without trace and that in combination with the pouring rain allows them to get with striking distance - however so defined. The party can all have a free strike and then initiative will be as follows:
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I'm assume free strike doesn't translate to surprise round. So, with that assumption in mind.)
D.O.R.K and Vark continue the advance, but others are signaled at a certain point to hang back just enough to where the duo would be the most enticing in melee. And in sighting the matriach, or at least the most rotund of the female among the bunch, she becomes the target of their fury of clerics! Ankles get cut and hacked, and an attempt is at least made to shoot her in the neck.
D.O.R.K's Action: Attack with Helmsplitter! (Lethal)Slash #1 - Attack: 28 Damage: 14 magical slashing to Dame Edna.
Vark's Action: Extra Attack with Heartbreaker! (Lethal, One-Handed)Slash #1 - Attack: 23 Damage: 8 non-magical slashing to Dame Edna. (Lethal, One-Handed) Slash #2 - Attack: 24 Damage: 6 non-magical slashing to Dame Edna.
Devin moves forward until he is 60 feet away from the group of giants. Seeing that D and crew are focusing their attacks on Dame Edna, he does as well. "Hit 'em with all ya got people!" he says as he conjures up a spectral blue star Spiritual Weapon next to Dame Edna and slams it into her
Attack: 25 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. force damage
He follows up with a quick cantrip Toll the Dead and the sound of a dolorous bell fills the air around Dame Edna for a moment. DC 16 WIS save or 23 necrotic
