Devin, seeing that D intends to hack her way past the lock holds her back for a moment. He then draws out a set of lockpicks and winks at D. Then, kneeling in front of the lock, he gives it a go at picking the lock.
Ebonitus continues to observe the surroundings as best he can, also listening for signs hat they may have been spotted. He is also trying to identify where they may possibly keep weapons and armour, to repurpose for the use of the freed slaves.
Ilezenya claps Devin on the shoulder after he deftly picks the lock to the prisoner cells. "Well done, Devin. Our plan continues to meet objectives. Let us continue quickly before we lose the element of surprise."
Devin, having easily picked the lock swings the cage open. Calling to who is in the cage he quietly says "Let's go, we are breaking everyone out of this place."
Though Red seemed initially disappointed at Devin's request, she lowered her axe without a word, and soon after set her focus on keeping an eye out along with Ebonitus. That is, at least until the work was done. But even once it is the construct refrained from so much as looking the direction of it. She simply nodded in agreement, doffed her shield, and along with a spare breastplate and padding, set them on the ground at her side.
"It may be a awkward fit, but it should better than nothing, Torunn. Also, do you know the location of any other cages on this side."
(OOC: I assume for now that Devin also stopped her from casting silence, so refunding the slot for now.)

Ilezenya hands his light crossbow and a case with 20 bolts to one of the prisoners who looks like they could handle it effectively. "Fight for your freedom. We are here for another mission, but freeing you is something we must do."
"thank you my friends" says Torunn "Moradin's beard I did miss your metallic face!! " he says to Red " Follow me I know where they keep more slaves... the bastards... "
(@Grant: Dumb question, especially if this has already been addressed/noted before. But did they leave Vark and Torunn with the armor, or just enough clothing/layers to where they wouldn't freeze to death?)

D.O.R.K for the first time fully looks to Torunn, and had her face the capabilities, she might've even been considered staring wide-eyed at the dwarf. Instead, she simply just stared at the dwarf silently for a few moments, before slowly nodding in agreement. It's at that point Vark finally stepped up and waved until he got her attention.
"Boss, uh... we-uh... Weez good?" Vark asked. To which she canted her head to the side in confusion, before an epiphany seemed to strike her. "I would like a report someday on the events that led to your capture. But otherwise, we are very much good, as I am certain you did your best." Vark breathes sigh of relief and wipes away some imaginary sweat, or started to, before being suddenly presented a dagger from the construct.
With a wicked grin, he accepts it, as well as snatches up the shield before anyone else can grab it, gives the rest of the party a curt nod, then finally took up a protective position to the right of the dwarf. "Lead the way then, Torunn." She said, as she herself took to the left of him after some urgings for either him or his fellow prisoner to don the breastplate she'd set aside in the snow. If neither were of mind to, or it appeared quite impossible to adjust the fitting enough for anyone else to where, then she'd pack it away for another time.

Devin manages to successfully unlock the cage and free the slave in there. However, Toruun says the rest are over in the village on the other side of the chasm.
Devin gives a big grin to Vark and Torunn. "Nice to see your faces again." he whispers. "I've got more daggers if you need them. Now let's get Beedo and anyone else we can."
Devin then contacts Aslan through his thoughts. Head over to the other side and wait on a wall near the gate and let me know if you see any of these yakfolk about. And stay quiet and out of sight.
"Vark, you know this place well, which way?" he asks ready to follow
Vark holds up a finger for one dagger, and if given it, absently works on getting a feel for using both with a few practiced stabs as Devin spoken on. At the question, he scrunches up his face and looks thoughtful for a moment, before shaking his head. He then shifts his weight to a back foot and holds out his arms as if to 'Bruv... you take'n 'e piss? Why would I know?' But then a thought seems to occur to him a moment afterwards, and lead to him murmuring, "...'cept." He then cants his head to the side and rubs at his forehead. "Mmn... eh... maybe 'member once we'z closer." He said with a shrug.
(OOC: aka, up to the DM if he'd know anything/fill in the gaps. But from vague recollection, that wasn't the case since they were separated from Beedo.)
It's then D.O.R.K interjects by saying, "It is time. Let us head over to the larger plateu -- the other village via the bridge. But stay close and be careful. We may wish to tie ourselves together before crossing, as the winds are quite strong." She suggests, and if once they arrive her concerns are proven true in seeing the bridge sway heavily, she'd offer her rope up for the more sleight of hand trained professionals to tie together with any rope others had, as well as the ties needed to secure a line between everyone.

As she rummages in her pack for something to equip Toruu, D.O.R.K feels something vibrate as if trying to be noticed. Aslan gives Devin a scathing look - as only cats can - at being directed to fly off into the howling gale but does so. After managing to sneak 7 out of the eastern portion of the village the party manages to successfully cross the bridge only to find the gate in front of them closed. Aslan is sitting on top with a smug look on its face - again as only cats can - as if to say “what now Boss?!”
D.O.R.K just about ignores the vibration, as she had a feeling on what the source is more than likely to be. And frankly speaking, she wasn't in much of a mood to get either lip or advice from the artifact, least some flare of emotion from another misunderstanding led to the group being given away, sleeping Yakfolk or not... But once the group had at the very least crossed the bridge, guilt gets the better of her, as she reaches into the pack to grasp the familiar hilt to establish a connection. Yet she still refused to pull it out.
"Dusk Warden. Repeat performance, if you would be so kind and think it possible." She requests absentmindedly while awaiting for the sword to 'speak'.

Anyway Devin easily picks the lock. It is obvious that nobody either outside or inside the cage has noticed that the party is in the village.

Having now freed Vark and Toruun plus one other slave, the party moves back to the next cage close to the barn and do what?

With a smirk to D.O.R.K. Toruun scretches his back before pointing to their next objective.
"This way.. " he whispers "We need to set the others free"
