The Battle of Nightstone - Round 4
A: Shooting Fish in a Barrel {Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Njorman, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin & Kella} 1) Xolkin hits with both shots and one of the Orcs in the first group throws up its hands and sinks beneath the moat. Another Orc in the back group has a crease in its forehead where Xolkin's second bolt glanced off its thick skull. He turns and grins back at Kella "told you I was good" he says. 2) The Orcs in the first group will have reached the Bridge and climbed out of the Moat by the end of this Round. 3) During this round Njorman takes a shot (Attack: 5 Damage: 9) at one of the Orcs in the front group which hits but the Orc keeps swimmng 4) Actions now required for Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Njorman, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin & Kella
The Battle of the Ardeep River{Vark, Beedo & D.O.R.K.} 1) Having climbed out of the River, the remaining 10 Orcs form up in a small Group and start to move South. They will cover 60 feet during this round but in their initiative order will also all fling Javelins at the defenders in the Watch Tower. 2) Vark you're up! - see post #550. 3) Norgra grabs a Javelin and flings it at the Watchtower defenders (Attack: 6 Damage: 5 plus 8 if it hits) which is heading towards (3) D.O.R.K. and simply glances off her armoured body. 4) Beedo & D.O.R.K - see post #550. D.O.R.K. executes a perfect swan dive and hits the water cleanly, she comes up swimming but it will take her four rounds (24 seconds) to reach the far bank. 5) The nine Orcs all fling Javelins at the Watchtower's defenders and the swimming D.O.R.K. (3, 4, 4, 2, 2, 4, 6, 2 & 6) - two of which target D.O.R.K. - First (Attack: 24 Damage: 7) & Second (Attack: 13 Damage: 4) with the remaining seven showering Vark and Beedo in the Watch Tower: First (Attack: 6 Damage: 7), Second (Attack: 14 Damage: 8), Third (Attack: 11 Damage: 4), Fourth (Attack: 5 Damage: 5), Fifth (Attack: 7 Damage: 4), Sixth (Attack: 11 Damage: 7) & Seventh (Attack: 1 Damage: 4). 6)Of the two potentially successful attacks (1, 4) on the defenders in the Watch Tower, the first hits Vark and the second hits Beedo. 7) One of the Orc's shots goes badly awry (9) and somehow lands behind the Orcs, much to the shagrin of the thrower and the merriment of the Orcs.

Vark grunts and pulls out the javelin. Then with a muttered curse, he takes another shot at one of the wounded Orcs. "Lucky shot!" Sensing Beedo's cheeky grin, Vark scowls and throws a rude gesture at his fellow goblin.
Vark's Action: Short bow Attack: 10 Damage: 8 on an injured (non-boss) Orc.
Bonus Action: Second Wind for 11 HP restored.
"Hey one-eye! Looks like ya crack shots are start'n turn on ya!" Beedo cackles and takes another shot at Nogra. This time using his last special arrow(for real this time) before ducking back down for cover. "What da heck are doze guys on anyways?"
Beedo's Action: Short bow Attack(Last Explosive Arrow):Attack: 16 Damage: 15 on Nogra.
Bonus Action:Nimblest Escape Feature to duck and Hide! (Roll at bot of post)
D.O.R.K calmly picks up the last Javelin to hit Vark. "It is the blessing of their god at work. But it matters not. We will prevail. Keep up the suppressing fire. It is time I engage now." She says, readying the Orc Javelin."You are my shield. I, your sword. Let us as one show these adversaries what it means to face a daughter of your banner." The "prayer" spoken, and with the symbol and gems in her armor now glowing a bright white, the weapon is let loose upon Nogra. Immediately after, D.O.R.K steps up to the edge of the tower and says, "Remember my last orders. And... Stay safe, my Brothers."She doesn't wait to see their reaction before taking her leap of faith into the waters below.
And if she should survive it, it is on to the Orc's that crossed.
Bonus Action: D.O.R.K casts Shield of Faith upon herself, increasing her AC to 22.
Can Xolkin toss his crossbow back toward town and draw his rapier and dagger all as free actions and still have his action and bonus left to attack with? What will you allow?
Grumpy, true to his name, grumbles at being left alone and feeling useless. He's going to cross to the northwest tower and climb up to see if he can do any good from that vantage point.

Yes. I thought that was for round 4. So yeah, attacks for whatever round is coming up. We'll target the chainmail orc of he is out of the water or else continue to shoot at orcs in the water
(The leader is in the backgroup but he ain't got chainmail on no more as its makes for very difficult swimming) He will be in Hide (AC 13) like everybody else.)
For when their respective turns come up, Tiny and Gentle will see Xolkin drop his crossbow, look at each other and give a knowing nod before putting away their heavy crossbows and drawing their great weapons and running towards the area that they saw Xolkin disappear to.
No Longer Shooting Fish in a Barrel - End of Round 4 {Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Njorman, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin & Kella} 1) Three of the fish (Orcs) have climbed out of the barrel (Moat) and made their way onto the Bridge. 2) Despite the valiant efforts of Happy, Kella and Xolkin only one of the Orcs was killed. 3) The two remaining Orcs facing Happy and Xolkin attack with their Great Axes on Happy (Attack: 14 Damage: 12) and Xolkin (Attack: 22 Damage: 11). 4) The remaining Orcs in the moat (6) will be in a position to climb out next round.
A) Battle of the Bridge - {Initiative Order: Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Njorman, Toruun, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin Gurrash, Gentle, Orcs, Tiny & Kella} 1) The remaining Orcs will climb up onto the Bridge this round. 2) Happy you're up and then actions as per initiative order (see above)
B) Battle of the Ardeep River and western side - {Initiative Order: Vark, Norgrash, Beedo, D.O.R.K. & Orcs} 1) The Orcs have marched 60 feet last round and are now at long range for a short bow from the Watch Tower defenders. They are outside of maximum Javelin range 2) Best estimate is that it will take them three rounds (end of round 7) to reach a point opposite the Bridge on the western side. At the end of this round, D.O.R.K. will emerge from the Ardeep river at the northern end of the west bank. 3) Initiative Order is as per above - Vark what do you want to do.
Vark stands and starts to ready up another shot, hesitates, then lowers the bow. "What she say again... Play to ya strengths?" He mutters to himself. "Vark… Don't do it. Don'tcha do it." Beedo warns, only to receive a headshake. "Ya think I"m some kinda kobold?"He smirks as he starts double-timing(Dash) down the ladder, and on to the next tower along the line.
"Hmph! I could totally make this shot.." Beedo claims proudly as he starts lining for some more pincushion. Thinking better of it at the last second, Beedo is down the ladder and well past Vark in seconds shouting, "Hurry up, slow poke!" And on to the next tower he goes and super goblin speed!
D.O.R.K double times it(Dash) the remainder of the way(and then some, if possible), and silently thanked the Mother for her needing not breathe. "Query: Hey! Are all Orcs just gonna spend all day running away like a flock of intellectually stunted chickens? Additional Query: Or are you too scared now that I'm down here with you all?"
A) Battle of the Bridge - 1) Happy misses the Orc. 2) Saving throw (DC 15 - 8) from Meiva's spell and accompanied by the sound of dolorous deep-noted bell you see the left arm of the Orc fighting Happy wither but not sufficient that it drops its Great Axe. 3) Sleepy hits one of the swimming Orcs as Post #554 4) Njorman takes aim at the still swimming Orcs (Attack: 21 Damage: 8) 5)Toruun you're up! 6) Fiddles and Devin both hit swimming Orcs as per Post #554 7)Xolkin you're up!

Torunn moves towards the combat on the bridge, taking cover behind the boulder NE of his original position. He then takes aim at on of the orcs on the bridge, mutters a prayer of luck to Gond and fires his crossbow.
If Xolkin can get in on the action, he'll attack with his light crossbow twice.

Happy sets down his crossbow, donning his shield and drawing his warhammer. He moves to intercept the orcs.
Kella will ready to shoot her crossbow when an orc is adjacent to Happy for sneak attack damage.

"Wither and die, plunderer," she mutters.
