Halahce is less then impressed that they have still done nothing to find somewhere to sleep. He will continue on the camel in silence as he does his best to be prepared if anything goes wrong.
Nearing the house you can hear faint voices over the sound of the wind, and as you enter, before the room falls silent, you catch a part of a conversation.
“We just have to do something. No one’s doing business with us no more.” “Yeah! Even the damn fish seem to know and ain’t biting.”
Past the front door is a big, mostly empty room, with only a couple of tables to either side of the door. A small bar counter is on the far end of the room and 4 human men are around it. Three of them seem to be middle aged, with darker, leathered and wrinkled skin. The last one, sat behind the bar, is much older. They look to you as you enter and their conversation falls silent. The younger man behind the bar nods towards you. “Evening. Not the best time of day to have wandered into our village. If you mean to be somewhere else, you better be on your way or you’ll be stuck till around noon.”
Halhace will stay quiet as they enter the building, doing his best to stay out of sight or at least to be less noticable without looking to suspicious.
"I am sorry to hear of your troubles gentlemen, truly I am. But we have rode long and hard this night and are weary beyond words. If you have rooms to spare and a place to stow our camels we would be greatly appreciated. And I promise to listen to your tale in earnest with an eye towards finding a solution in the morrow. But we must rest first tonight, and may not likely be awake before the tide recedes at any rate. Please say you will have us and I swear on the weave I will do my best to help tomorrow."
“Ha ha, we sleep in!”One of the other men says, lifting his drink as he answers Kamos. When he finishes it, he pats the man sitting next to him on the shoulder. “We should be off before we’re stuck sleeping here.”And with that the two leave through the front door.
“Aye we have troubles, but the tide’s just a nuisance.” The younger men behind the bar counter speaks to Jaylen. Taking a better look at you all he continues, “We only have 2 rooms and a share in the attic.” He looks to the old man who nods and says “We can rent you the attic room as a whole for 2 gold pieces. Each of the other rooms would cost you same 2 pieces. As for the camels.. We haven’t any stables, but... Kaden, how are our stores holding up? Should be least half empty now. For another gold we’ll take care of ‘em for you; food and all.”
Whispering to Kamos "Weren't we all paid 2 gold each for the delivery. And we were given one before we set out with the delivery. Most of us should have three gold. I have but two sadly as I lost my first piece in the tunnels"
*Jaylen is still unaware that Meep took it"
To the gentleman behind the bar "Here is two gold for the attic room. Perhaps one of my companions has a gold for the camels"
Halahce will pull out a coin for the camels, setting it on the table silently before he steps back. "When we get a chance it would be wise to attempt selling the beasts."
"That and it would make it less obvious that we had them in the first place but it is true the money fetched is the best reason. But we shall have to wait and see if somome objects." Halhace says as he leans onto his staff.
"The attic is fine. We need to save what coin we have left for whatever is going to be needed in the immediate future." Halhace says as he crosses his arms and looks to the rest of the party,
The old man takes the coins off the table and counts them between his fingers. With a nod he says, “Very good. Kaden here is gonna take your mounts to the storage room. They won’t be comfortable, but they’ll stay dry and well fed. As for the rest of you, the attic is up two sets of stairs, shouldn’t be hard to miss. Oh, and I hope you’re not light sleepers. Old George has a habit of wandering around in his boat at night with his bloody lantern.” He sighs, “Good man, but his mind’s been lost since... Well, anyway, he is harmless. Hope you folks have a good night.” With that, the old man slouches deep into his chair and pours himself another drink.
Kaden, the younger man, bids you all a good night, and then promptly leaves to get the camels safe from the coming tide.
Halhace will nod to what the man says and begin to make his way up to the attic, deciding it was past time for him to get some sleep. Once he gets up to the room he will find a spot to sleep and promptly lay down.

“The tide comes in. Bout 4ft high, and it can be quite unpredictable. Sweeps you out to the open sea if you give it the chance.”
Kamos: (to the stranger) "How does your village survive with constant threat of being swept out to sea?"

"I found some gold in the old ruins back there with this orb. It should be enough to get us through the next few days anyway."
