Feeling invigorated Dworic capitalizes on the opening left by the blood covering the wyvern's eyes and takes a big swing to the side of its head. A thunderous boom can be heard from the impact as blood and fleshy matter expelled from the opposite side of the wyverns head. It begins to fall out of the sky, "Good riddance with ya." He turns to the last flying beast and charges in taking another swing at its head. He can hear an audible crack from the creature's jaw as he follows through with his swing. Not able to finish it off he wraps himself in a protective light once more to fend off the beasts attacks.
Kyne smirks in amusement at Moltaris's playful quip, but the moment is brief as the pair's foes claim their attention. One wyvern remains after Dworic's fatal strike. Now alone and surrounded by powerful warriors, it throws itself into a dive, plummeting down through the clouds.
"Oh no you don't," the elf growls, hurtling after the draconic creature. The sudden descent makes his ears pop as the pressure shifts and then they emerge beneath the clouds. The wyvern is only a short distance ahead and beyond it lies a thickly vegetated, mountainous island, like a green jewel amidst an ocean that sparkles in the sunlight. The view would be breath-taking, were they not fighting for their lives.
Kyne doesn't hesitate, summoning all his power to bring the monster down before it can escape. One hand flings a bead of elemental power the detonates in a booming conflagration of flame - the elf's signature fireball. He spins away from the blast, coming about to spew a stream of fire at his quarry, but still the wyvern limps on, scorched wings trailing smoke through the air.
"Really? Did something distract you? You've done better..." Molly murmurs before extending the forked fingers of her left hand at the wyvern again, both fingers targeting the one smoking creature. The death knell tolls again, but nothing seems to change at first. Then the wyvern's wings fall still and the creature slowly plummets towards the island far below.
"I know you want to redeem yourself, but let's get back up in the clouds before its friends come... and in greater numbers."

A few moments later, Kyne alights on the deck of the Mist Eagle and sets Molly down besides him.
"There's a whole island down there," he begins without preamble. "Probably full of their ill-gotten gains. Tandriel, can you bring the ship down? I'd like to make sure that we've really wiped all of them out. This shouldn't be allowed to happen to anybody else."
Molly makes her way over to Dworic. "You feeling okay? Need any help?"

Tandriel nods to Kyne but she heads towards Moltaris first.
"You ok?"she says and after Molly nod she smirks "you seemed to enjoy Kyne's daring rescue "she says to Molly in low voice "If you don't get jealous we could invite them for dinner.." she says with a roguish blink to her.
"I doubt there are many airships in this route, but there could be boats heading to Sarlonna. This guys are a weird bunch "she says turning her attention to the rest and raising her voice again. "But we could check it if you want. I didn't know there was an island in this waters...we should check the ship first though.."
Shallan finally appears at the deck
"What's happening? I was asleep and that movement literally threw me off the bed. Everybody ok?"
The particular crew of the Mist Eagle nods and laughs now that the immediate danger seems to be finished.
"So... do we all agree on going down?"Asks Tandriel when they all seems to be ready.
Kyne laughs with just a hint of trepidation when Shallan appears on deck, raising one arm to scratch the back of his neck as he walks over to put an arm around her.
"Just a spot of turbulence - nothing to worry about," he tells her with a wink.
Molly closes the distance between herself and Tandriel until they are barely a foot apart. Gazing up at the half-elf captain, Molly retorts, "I enjoyed not plummeting to a watery grave." She puts her hand on Tandriel's arm and continues, "But I saw how you maneuvered the Mist Eagle... I knew you wouldn't leave me for the scavengers. And after this day, I am certain to have an appetite."
Molly arches an eyebrow at Tandriel's way of describing their next course of action, then says, "Let's do it," before hurrying to grab her shield and pack.

Tandriel smiles back at Molly and after checking that the ship is alright she maneuvers it again, in a more gentle descend and they finally clear the clouds.
Below them they all can see now the island that Moltaris and Kyne had seen before. Covered in green vegetation the island seems to have a tear shape with the northern part covered by a mountain ridge. It's hard to tell but it seems that in the northern part the island has around 20 km ( 11 miles ) and in the southern part, the thinnest one about 5 km ( 2,5 mils) It could have about 50 km (27 miles) from north to south and the norther third gets wider until it starts to become thinner. The vegetation is dense, with tall trees but its hard to tell which kind from this distance.
"I wouldn't be able to land in the center of the island... better to look for a beach "Tandriel says.
When she passes more or less towards the center of the island, still about one kilometer above it ( 3000 feet ) something happens. The elemental ring suddenly goes off and the airship begins to plummet without control. Tandriel screams and everyone has their feet suddenly lifted from the deck as the ship begins to fall. Kyne notices that he doesn't float, as he should for his spell were still active.
The gnome and the minotaur run towards the sails of the ship and open them. The ship regains some kind direction and Tandriel is able to point it towards the sea, towards the western part of the island. As fast as the ring went off it hums and it recovers its magical bright, the members of the party feel the magic coming back to them. Tandriel struggles with the ship and the winds to recover the control of the ship and she finally stops it about ten meters from the top of the trees near the coast. Pearls of sweat cover her forehead.
"Whoah... I.. I don't know what was that but I will not go near that center of the island like...ever... everyone alright?"
"That was a magical deadzone," Kyne notes, still panting from the adrenaline rush as he clutches Shallan close to his side. "We're in the right place. Something out of the ordinary is going on on this island."
"A little too close for comfort, Captain."Hurosk says through panting breathes. "But good job."
"Right place for what?" the ranger asks, unwrapping himself from a rope he used to keep from flying and trying to keep his last meal down in his stomach. He knees buckle slightly as he takes his first step towards Kyne."Have we already made it to Saralona?"
Kyne shakes his head when Hurosk asks if this is Sarlona.
"The right place for tracking down those halflings and their wyverns," Kyne explains, tightening his bracers and sword belt. "They're bandits at best, but bandits don't typically fly on wyverns and set up antimagic fields. There's more to this island than meets the eye and I want to find out what. Give me a moment. I'm going to grab my pack."
The elf heads to his cabin, before returning a few minutes later ready to explore.
Floating a couple of feet above the sand of the beach the airship remained still while the party gets ready to disembark.
"We will be here until you return. We have to make sure that doesn't broke anything, it would take some time, but anyway take this " she hand Moltaris a wand. "It will send a signal for us to find you. As long as you are away from that death magic zone. Never heard of one so big... be careful okay? This is being too fun to end so soon" she winks at Moltaris and adds to Kyne. "You better take care of her!"
The party find themselves in a yellow sand beach, with the pines nearly reaching the coast line. The woods had an eerie feeling and they don't have really a direction. They are in the eastern part of the island, the death zone were in the middle of it, while the wyvern were headed to the northern part of the island where the mountain range were.
Kyne glances over at Lyreis, Hurosk and Moltaris and remembers meeting Mathilda with them at the masked ball in Delethorn. It felt like such a long time ago now and the sorcerer sighs sadly when he thinks about how they had parted ways with the sweet, young girl. She had her own path to walk and perhaps they would see each other again one day, but Kyne cannot help but regret the thief's absence.
"West into the forest?" He proposes. "I want to know what we flew through earlier."
"West sounds good for me."Hurosk says with a nod. "If that one you and Molly were chasing down gave any sign, those wyvern may be making their camp on the north side. No point in walking directly into their nest." He chinches his pack down tight on his shoulders and looks to the rest. "Shall we then...," he then glances to the ring, and add in his mind to Laumar: You awake in there...? I may need some help scouting this island.
The hunter begins to lead the group out through the thick forest. "Going to be easy to get separated in these trees... Find a buddy," he advises and pushes through the underbrush.
Hurosk seemed to know his way through the forest, guiding the rest of the party towards west, in the general direction of the center of the island.
"Don't you worry I got your back" hears the half-orc in his mind.
Soon they found themselves below the shadow of big pine trees and with ferns as high as their chest. After half an hour walking the pines gives room to other types of trees like birch, oak chestnut. Most of this trees are showing orange or yellow leaves, with the ground beginning to be covered by those that had already fallen. The humidity of the air, changes as they advance, turning from the more salty near the beach to a one more dense and colder. Mushrooms can be seen here and there among the roots fo the trees. For most of them is almost like being back at home in the Eldeen Reaches.
There's a rustling near the ground, like autumn leaves in the wind. Nobody would think twice about it, but then it is followed by an indignant: "Hey! LISTEN!" When they look down, it seems as if two leaves are sitting on top of a mushroom and... Talking to them?
Hearing the voice suddenly shout out from an unseen source, Hurosk's first instinct is that it's coming from his passenger in his ring, but then realizes that this was an unfamiliar voice. His eyes scan the area where the sound came from and they fall on a mushroom.
"Did anyone else here that? I think this mushroom said something." The half-orc looks back to the others for confirmation. "And I promise I haven't been eating any other mushrooms along the way."
