Glynquinal will try to work his way past Herr Doktor to get into the fray to occupy D16 and take two swipes with his short swords at the hapless soul at E16.
The (yellow) bugbear is magically affected by Herr Doktor's words. It winces at his words and appears to be having trouble focusing.
OOC: Glynquinal, you have advantage attacking the prone creature. Go ahead and roll once more for each attack. Also, please pay attention to what your character sheet has for modifiers. Your shortsword damage modifier is 3, not 5 (your first attack's damage should be 9), and please remember that your off-hand attack's damage doesn't get to include the damage modifier, so it would just be 2.

The first one crits!
Damage for short sword 1 7
Crit, and rolled max damage twice. 17 damage from the first hit alone (Got excited and didn't take out the +5 from that second roll). 5 More damage if the second attack hits, and 4 from the Sneak attack damage.
Note 1: You only double the dice when rolling for crit, so it's 6+6+3.
Note 2: 6+6+3, not +5. Your damage modifier on your shortsword is 3, not 5.
Note 3: I think you read post 1267 before I edited it to remind you that you don't add the damage modifier to your off-hand attacks, so it's just 1d6, so 2.
Summary: Attack 1 is 25 (crit) to hit with 15 damage and attack 2 is 15 to hit with 2 damage, and sneak attack damage is 4.
Glynquinal slides into the room and stabs the unconscious goblin twice, quickly and efficiently ending its life.

Ian comes down the stairs, and turns the corner into the room. Upon seeing the scene in front of him, he will join Glynquenal and attempt to double team the (Orange) bugbear. Ian moves to E17, and with his placement, gives both himself and Glynquenal flanking advantage.
Ian attempts to stab the Bugbear through the side with Rapier, and slash at his neck with his dagger.
OOC: Ian, you would have to occupy D18 to give yourself and Glynquinal flanking advantage. Glyn is at D16. Also, because moving through another player is difficult terrain (10 feet instead of 5 feet), you can't get to E17. You can, however, get to C17 and still attack the (orange) bugbear. I'll just take the first die of each roll to account for it not being at advantage. And you do get sneak attack on the one hit that lands.
Ian flies into the room around Herr Doktor, quickly assesses the situation, and dances around Rock to attack the (orange) bugbear beside Glynquinal. He attempts to stab the bugbear through the side with his rapier and slash at his neck with his dagger. The bugbear is able to deflect the rapier with his shield, but the dagger slashes across the beast's neck.
Round 2: HDP, Glyn, Ian, Gruxx (raging), bugbears, Rock (raging)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Glynquinal will shift to E17 taking up position from Ian on the opposite side of the Bugbear at D17.
To the Bugbear, "Quit while you are behind friend, you are no match for us." Glynquinal will take a swing of his short sword at the Bugbear's throat, and another piercing shot at his chest with his second short sword.
OOC, DDP even at C17, wouldnt I still have advantage from flanking? Since I have an ally (Glyn) that is 5 feet from my enemy (Orange Bugbear)? or am I interpreting flanking wrong? Do we have to be polar-opposite to an enemies position?
OOC Glyn, looks like you rolled d6 instead of d20 on your attacks. You may want to re-roll your attack.
OOC: Ian, polar opposite, yes. You're thinking of sneak attack (any ally within melee range). Flanking takes polar opposite.
Herr Doktor's silver tongue once again leaves his target distracted and dazed by his magical verse. Glynquinal shifts southeast to use Ian as a distraction to get advantage while attacking his (orange) target. Unfortunately, his first strike is wide due to his proximity to the end of the cot and having to do a little bit of a balancing act. But his second swing catches the creature on the arm for a small amount of damage.
Ian, you're up! And now you're flanking Orange with Glyn.
Ian uses Glynquinal's position to divide the (orange) bugbear's attentions and attacks twice in quick succession, skewering the creature and then slashing him. The creature collapses with a groan.
OOC2: The first attack was enough to take out the bugbear. If your second attack had been high enough without advantage, I would have transferred it to Yellow, but, alas, without advantage, it would have missed anyway.
OOC: Reckless lets you roll twice (advantage), but since you hit without it, I'm going to ignore the reckless part (and so enemies won't have advantage when attacking you this round).
Gruxx's swings his glaive, hitting the (green) bugbear. The bugbear retaliates by attacking Gruxx with its morningstar. (morningstar attack: 10, damage: 8 piercing damage) The morningstar crashes into the barbarian, but because of his rage, the damage is lessened. The (yellow) bugbear swings its morningstar at Rock. (morningstar attack: 6, damage: 9 piercing damage) The dragonborn is able to deflect the attack, taking no damage. (That should have been rolled at disadvantage; I'll roll again in case it's a nat 1: 15. Close!)
Doc your up
The Herr Doktor Professor stands in the doorway (C14) and casts Vicious Mockery at the bugbear wounded by Rock:
"A dagger through the spine,
Or fingers wrapped around a neck,
When the enemy can't fight back,
That's the way bugbears like to fight!
So it seems to me only right!
To give them a little payback:
To surprise their plans into a wreck,
And stop them in the nick of time!"
Vicious Mockery damage if it fails its save: 3.
Glynquinal will try to work his way past Herr Doktor to get into the fray to occupy D16 and take two swipes with his short swords at the hapless soul at E16.
Short sword 1 to hit 20
Damage for short sword 1 11
Short sword 2 to hit 19
Damage for short sword 2 9
WIS save: 9

Outstanding!
Short sword 1 to hit 18
Short sword 2 to hit 18
And with Advantage as a Rogue...
Sneak attack 4
And now you've rolled a critical, so roll another d6 to go along with the first damage die for the first attack.
The first one crits!
Damage for short sword 1 7
Crit, and rolled max damage twice. 17 damage from the first hit alone (Got excited and didn't take out the +5 from that second roll). 5 More damage if the second attack hits, and 4 from the Sneak attack damage.

Ian attempts to stab the Bugbear through the side with Rapier, and slash at his neck with his dagger.
Rapier To Hit: 13

Sneak Attack: 3

Damage: 4
(No sneak attack on off-hand attack)

Round 2: HDP, Glyn, Ian, Gruxx (raging), bugbears, Rock (raging)
The Herr Doktor Professor now directs his cutting tongue at the other bugbear flanking Ian (orange):
"Morning star, morning star,
Swinging through the air,
Kindly miss my friend standing there.
Morning star, morning star
Changing arc so abrupt,
Leave that bugbear's face bloodily pulped!"
He casts Vicious Mockery, which will do 3 damage if the bugbear fails its save.
The Herr Doktor Professor will maintain overwatch position, but will keep an eye on the cavern in case trouble appears from there.
Short sword 1 to hit 8
Short sword 1 damage 6
Short sword 2 to hit 11
Short sword 2 damage 6
Sneak attack 3

OOC Glyn, looks like you rolled d6 instead of d20 on your attacks. You may want to re-roll your attack.
OOC good call, how that happened I don't know. Looking at my character sheet again.
Rerolling what I got wrong somehow by rolling a D6 instead of a D20
Short sword 1 to hit 14
Damage 5 if a good hit
Short sword 2 to hit 18
Damage 2 if a good hit
Sneak attack damage is 1
WIS save: 1

Ian, you're up! And now you're flanking Orange with Glyn.
Ian, seeing that Glynquenal moved into a flanking position, will attempt the same attack on the Orange Bugbear.
Ian attempts to stab the Bugbear through the side with Rapier, and slash at his neck with his dagger.
Rapier To Hit: 17
Damage: 4
Sneak Attack: 4
Dagger to Hit: 18
Damage: 2
(No sneak attack on off-hand attack)
OOC: Flanking works!
Gruxx, you're up!
Gruxx will once more bring his glaive down upon the Green bugbear recklessly.
Attack: 25 Damage: 14
OOC: Reckless lets you roll twice (advantage), but since you hit without it, I'm going to ignore the reckless part (and so enemies won't have advantage when attacking you this round).
Gruxx's swings his glaive, hitting the (green) bugbear. The bugbear retaliates by attacking Gruxx with its morningstar. Rock, you're up!
