Baik stabs the Hook Horror with his spear as it leaves his sphere of influence. Then Velmine takes her pound of flesh as it runs by her, and as the Hook Horror enters the cloud of sickening Radiance it dies, leaving the second egg to the mercy of the green gas.

You each receive 466 XP (Velmine, I will add it to your sheet)

At will take a couple of minutes for Velmine to retrieve her daggers, and Eiren and Tallis to retrieve half of their shot arrows. (I took care of Tallis' and Eiren's arrow count and adjusted their sheets. See the next post for arrow counts.)

“What’s going on with these eggs?” Eiren takes stock of how many eggs there are—are there any more in the nest? And were there just two that were removed just moments ago?

There is one egg in the nest (it died before it could pick it up. I had posted that it picked it up, but Baik managed to hit it as it was moving away from him, and I hadn't taken that into my narrative.) and the other one is at V21. There are 2 eggs altogether.

Unless someone wants to try and raise a pet hooked horror I say we move on and continue.

Eiren suggests that the keep the eggs. “Perhaps they’ll come in useful!” He will put one in his backpack if no one objects.

 Do you wait for the 10 minutes for the Sickening Radiance to dissipate or ask Xavier to make it go away or just walk into it to go to the nest?

(First, i'll ask Xavier. Could you get rid of your spell? it'll hurt the egg.)

Xavier waves a hand and the spell dissipates.  “No problem!”

"We should keep moving," Corvin says.  "Who knows what else is around here..."
