Kiven greets Eya and smirks at her tone regarding the newcomers. "Your Cardinal sent them after the savage woman went and did exactly what her kind is made for, dying by way of pointless violence. Their names seem to have... slipped my mind... but they have proven useful." He says this aloud in front of everyone at the meeting place.
"There is a small chance the mages are at the inn enjoying some carnal pleasures. If not we'll have to find them in the keep and dispatch them. My good friend Respar here now knows where to find 'Lord' Havelyn as well."
Meanwhile, Poe reports to Selena that someone's coming into town from the south at a fast pace. It looks like a farmer on an old horse. The horse looks half dead from being pushed too fast for too long.
Selena smirks at the newcomer. " Finally decide to join us or are you my entertainment? I am sure your blood is delicious. " She walks over closer to Eya while saying this then winks and moves fluidly to her former spot.
She suddenly turns her head to the side as if listening to someone. " Poe just reported in. Farmer riding into town from the south on an old horse. Looks like he rode the horse half to death to get here in a hurry from somewhere a long way off. "
Blau , in response to Kiven's off-hand slight, grins wide, hard grey teeth showing, and gives a slight bow to the newly joined Eya "Blaupunkt Riftborn, here to ensure that all of Asmodeus' mighty plans come to full bloom, even if that has to be over your bodies. MY Lord has given me sanction to heal injuries gained in achieving his goals and other benefits of following his commands to aid our cause. Are you ready for this battle to come? It should prove most glorious!"
When Poe reports and Kiven's comment, Blau merely looks interested, asking "Oh? What did you set in motion?"

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Eya looks up directly at Selena, never losing eye contact and scanning her as she approaches. When she makes the comment about blood, Eya thinks for a moments then begins analyzing her, "Tall, slender, strong, unnatural beauty, talk of blood being delicious...not a vampire exactly, a dhampir? Interesting, you too are an outcast from human society then. Very well, my name is Eya."
Upon seeing Blau, she does the same, "An earth Oread that's a cleric of Asmodeus, that's different. How did you come to serve our lord, Blau?"
To Respar, she says, "Excellent work, that should give us the time that we need to get this job done."
To Kiven and Blau, she replies with an evil grin, "Yes, turns out one fiend can make a whole village panic in a frenzy. Anyway, lets all head back to the Inn in our disguises and see if the mages are there. Perhaps the dwarves are busy drinking tonight too and we can check on them."
Shall we go to the Inn and see what's going on now? Dai, Eya would go in her human disguise of Martha. I would be interested if the dwarves are busy drinking and if we spot any mages inside.
Selena grins at Eya. " Very perceptive...I like that. I am perceptive as well. It makes it so easy to get humans to do my will...especially males. " She gestures at her hourglass figure. " Selena laughs and her blonde hair cascades around her shoulders. " Eya, I think it will be interesting working with you. The others...it is too soon to tell. "
Answering Eya "Our Lord finds those who seem worthy of his attention, no matter how high or deep they may be. His Hand and guidance points the way to Him - we just need to prove ourselves worthy to find Him. My life is merely a story of my own path, a history that matters not as I have found Him. Now we make a history that will shake the Mitrans to their very roots!"
"As far as the inn, I would prefer to remain here, readying my Lord's magics for your weapons and talents, ready to begin the attack when the time comes. I have no talent for the deceptions you practice so well and that one close call is enough to show me my lack thereof."

Respar says, "Well, let's go to the tavern. Captain Eddarly can order anyone there of interest to come with us. We can even say we need their help searching a building for whatever seems appropriate. Then once there, we eliminate them. If we find the mages, we tell them their magic abilities might help us search our old lodgings. If we find the dwarves, they can help us excavate something in the basement. Agreed? Some of us can be in wait there in the basement."
Blau responds "That's all fine for you who swings swords and shoots arrows, but I have used a lot of my Lords gifts taking care of the priest and other threats. Without His aid, you may find defeating the mages rather difficult. If you bring them here, we can try, but if we fail my Lord, his wrath will be severe and swift."

Eya chimes in, "As for me, I'm well-rested and can fight if needed. Respar's plan to isolate the targets could work to our advantage. Still, the mages should be our very first priority over the dwarves as they have the most potential to destroy our forces with their large scale magics. If we can eliminate the dwarves as well, or perhaps isolate and kill just the lead dwarf, then that's a bonus in my eyes. I had only hoped to steal a cloak from his room before the fighting starts if they were occupied with drinking as usual, but if the opportunity presents itself to eliminate him easily tonight, then we can certainly try that too. I only worry about spreading ourselves too thin, and suggest we focus on the mages if we can."
To Blau, Eya responds, "It would be ideal to have you well-rested, but I'm not sure we have the luxury of time before the big battle. Killing them now might be our best chance before things get hectic tomorrow. I still have a lot of my arcane reserves. Can you focus on pure combat while I take care of the support for just one battle? Hopefully we can get the jump on them too."
Finally, Eya adds, "Either way, we need to head back to the Inn and assess the situation for now and see where our targets are and what they are doing."
Selena shrugs. " We need to do more but cannot afford to reveal ourselves too soon. I feel that the mages deserve death the most. " She bites her lower lip sensually and says softly, " Can you not feel the incoming violence? It is as if I am breathing in the smell of death, glorious death. Death is coming tonight for those who dwell here. " She giggles and mimes cutting her throat.
Respar leads the group that can look like guards to the tavern, hoping they can find the mages. The rest can hide in their old lodgings, waiting in ambush.
'Eddarly' enters the tavern and signals any of the staff. "I'm looking for our wandering mages. Any chance they're here?"
'Eddarly' walks into the tavern, and sees right away that the dwarven crew are here, draining a cask of ale as usual. Upon being asked, one of the servers points to a corner of the room, where two men are chatting up the same pretty woman.
Tacitus and Titus are dressed in considerably finer clothing than is typically seen in this town, the identical twin brothers like to make a show of themselves, in more ways than one. They're arrogant, full of themselves, but also charming and quick witted.
Eddarly grins to himself. With a guard or two trailing him he walks over to the pair. "Excuse me, my dear," he says to the woman. "I'm afraid I must steal them away for a bit." He then turns to the sorcerers. "Gentlemen, I need you two to come help us. We're going to search a building to see if some magics things have been left behind."
OOC: If they balk, 'Eddarly' will display the writ.
One of the twins states, "We're off duty," The other says, "and we're not your bloody divining rods." "Go bother that dusty old curmudgeon Scaramore." "Its not like he has anything better to do." "Or anyone better to do for that matter."
The twins laugh in unison as they turn back to the now somewhat flustered townswoman.
'Eddarly' slaps the writ down on the table with a loud *smack*. He says calmly, almost too calmly, "Read that, gentlemen. His Lordship is worried something strange is going on, and wants me to investigate. Would you like me to report your lack of cooperation to His Lordship?"
Eya walks in a bit later than "Captain Eddarly" disguised as a sexy, 5'7", fair-skinned, raven-black haired beauty wearing a nice purple dress. It isn't as flashy as a noble's dress but still form-fitting and exciting.
Hearing the conversation not going as well as the group would like, she looks over at Selena with a knowing look and a nod. She steps forward and coos in a seductive tone, "Ooh, look at you well-dressed men." She looks to one of them and says, "How about we grab a drink together instead, sugar? We could have a lot of fun tonight."
She winks at him.
Thinking maybe Eya and Selena can seduce these guys, haha. We'll see how this goes.
Eya's entrance catches more than one eye, it even disturbs the pace of drinking over at the dwarf tables. Not many strangers came through here, fewer still looking like that.
"What a coincidence." "We've been saving a seat for someone like you." "Sarah won't mind making this a party, will you Sarah?" "You just going to stand there all day old man." "or are you going to take care of that thing you think is important?"
One of the twins stands with a flourish and offers Eya a seat next to the townswoman who is flushing beet red at this point and stammering. The last two comments are directed at 'Eddarly'

They seem unimpressed.
"Fine, if you must know."
"We already used up that spell for the day."
"Not a bit of energy left."
"Spent all morning hunting around the fort with it."
