However if what I saw was correct his intentions were a complete faliure perhaps even put him in grave danger. We were going to investigate if that was his fate. Maybe you would like to join us?

"Very well."  I start chanting and gesturing and pull out my quarterstaff.

"Mine is Khelgar. I saw the spirit of my former comrade dissapearing on that spot over ther here in the basement." 

I move to about 25' from the point Khelgar indicated, and look for magic.
