Prince Derendil, a quaggoth that claims to be a cursed elven prince. Even though he does look like a quaggoth, he appears to comport himself like the prince he says he is.
Eldeth Feldrun, a high spirited shield dwarf scout from Gauntlgrym.
Jimjar, a devil-may-care deep gnome spy, who makes bets on everything.
Ront, a male orc, who seems to take pleasure in bullying and threatening the other prisoners.
Sarith Kzekarit, a male drow who seems resigned to his fate. He tells you that he was imprisoned for the murder of another drow in a fit of madness, but has no recollection of the event and thinks he's been setup.
Shuushar the Awakened, a kuo-toa who seems to be some sort of religious mystic.

Hrunting always tried to stand up to Ront whenever he Harassed the other prisoners. He liked being around Bupiddo and Shuushar, Bupiddo from his openness and Suushar from his faithfulness. Well, what are you up to? He gestures towards Qiao, You haven't been very talkative in this situation. Kisii's eyes half open and she regards the odd, horned man for a few moments, before she turns her head to the right, gazing into the empty space beside her. Then she sits silently for a minute, her eyes unfocused. She shifts slightly, then winces, her hand reflexively moving towards her belly. She stops herself though, and a truncated growl is all she'll allow to vocalize her displeasure at waking.

Kisii slowly lowers herself until she is laying on the stone floor against, and facing, the rough hewn wall of the cell. Her eyes are still open and she can't help but to hear the others speaking. She studies the various cracks and imperfections of the stone, her only means to while away the time. She visually traces along several lines before following one about a foot until it merges with another that runs back along the bottom edge of the wall. She stops and then slowly reaches her hand to the crack, digging her nails into it, scrabbling at it.
It takes a few minutes, as she quietly picks at the crack, but her efforts are rewarded and she pulls a shard of stone out of the wall. Regarding it a moment, running her thumb lightly along the sharpened edge, following it as it tapers to a point, she realizes suddenly that she has a weapon. Crude, of questionable effectiveness, but one that would score a deeper wound than her bite. She pulls it close to her chest, hugging it tightly.
"I will be put to death eventually, but I suspect they want to get as much work out of me as possible first."
He lapses back into a resigned silence.
Hrunting appears to be having a hard time seeing the ground in front of him, and might need spectacles. He doesn't see or notice anything special, although he is reminded of his imprisonment when he sees the two drow guards standing outside of the pen.

Mialee, only half paying attention, rolls her eyes at Ront’s Comments, scowls at the mention of religion, and then literally shutters at the mention of “work”. She stuffs the gold coin she had been turning over in her fingers in her pocket and stands up, resolute.
She walks over the the gate of the cell and says to the guards, “I know you both must know who I am. Which means you know my House, Naïlo, and most likely know of their fate. You must know there is plenty of wealth to be had by the Drow that would see me safe back to Menzoberannzen. As the sole remaining heir, I’d pay you handsomely for my safe return and retain you for your continued service.”

As the drow speak in their horrid language, Kisii slowly sits up, folding her legs in front of her so that the stone shard is under them. Her hands are also tucked under her thighs. She wonders if the guards will come in, if they'll come to her again. Her eyes narrow.
Sleight of Hand check to move the shard unnoticed: 19
This is for the benefit of the other PCs, if they want to make a Perception Check to notice she's got the stone shard.
Also, her intent (to attack if a drow guard gets near her) can be read on a medium difficulty Insight Check (15). She's trying to play it cool, but given her tendency to fight back, it would not be tough to figure out she's going to act if given the opportunity.
Kerook sits quietly in a corner, meditating. Over the past few days, he has been particularly interested in the kuo-toa, a seemingly sea creature that he never saw in his travels on the ship.
When the guard grabs at Mialee, Kerook flinches, but remains in his corner. If the Paladin starts a game, Kerook may keep one eye open to watch the others play, but will remain removed for the time being. An attack on a guard, however would certainly draw his attention, and he would likely join in swiftly.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Intimidation: 18
Mialee turns and angrily stomps over to where Hrunting is and says through gritted teeth, “I am trying this new thing; ‘being nice.’ How’d I do?”

Kisii, you had found a flint shard that could be used as a dagger.
Qiao managed to snatch a single drow crossbow bolt coated in poison.
(I'll get up descriptions of all the prisoners in a bit, and then we can start for real.)

You are all kept in an enclosed pen of sorts, with all the prisoners together. The other prisoners are as follows:
Bupiddo, a gregarious and talkative male derro.
Prince Derendil, a quaggoth that claims to be a cursed elven prince. Even though he does look like a quaggoth, he appears to comport himself like the prince he says he is.
Eldeth Feldrun, a high spirited shield dwarf scout from Gauntlgrym.

Shuushar the Awakened, a kuo-toa who seems to be some sort of religious mystic.

I am a paladin, of the god Helm, the protector. are you inclined to faith, sir? (OOC: does Hrunting still has his vestment or emblem?)
Ront, the orc, replies to Hrunting.
"How 'bout you go stick your head in a rock, and let the rest of us go to sleep, devil boy."

The guards completely ignore Hrunting. Mialee, however:
The guards sneer at her, and one of them grabs her by the shirt and pulls her closer.
(In Undercommon)
"If we wanted to hear something from you, pretty, we'd torture you and listen to your screams."
He then releases her, and shoves her back towards the rest of the prisoners.
