The crazed druid nods as she looks around the room. "I found bad magic in here and there are people watching.... I don't like the feeling."

No no no. Not a good sign. Aka grabs his Daggers and frowns as he attempts to recall a monster that chants, and watches you without being there.
(History? Nature? I forget.)

Aka, you're not familiar with any beast that chants and watches you, it seems like these are separate phenomena. 

"I think whatever is going on has something to do with that things in the hand of the strange statue. It is filled with some strange magic and it makes me have the feeling of bugs crawking over my skin." Ericina says. "I would smash it but I don't want to touch it..."

I’ve got a bad feeling. Not being able to recall any beasts that chant and watch you from afar, he decides to try and recall a beast that chants and a beast that watches from afar, separately. He then walks to the statue. Curiouser, and yet curiouser. What could this be? He then tries to identify it.

Not being able to identify this statue, Aka goes back to his earlier room. Someone come down here! Anyone got any idea what this crap is?

Roux will have followed down and will examine the statue trying to recall if he had read about it in his studies.

"How is everyone feeling? Do we need to rest before we press on?"

Bala will slowly make his way to the group, still a bit light headed from losing a lot of blood. "Can we please stop yelling, everything is sp--" His eyes go wide at the sight of the biggest pearl he had ever seen. Forgetting that everyone was in the room. Bala will make his way to the statue, climb it, and attempt to grab the orb.

Aka, unfortunately there's just not enough to go off of to figure out what kinds of monsters can chant. 

Bala, your sticky paws just can't resist the allure of the shiny orb. Just as you reach out and put the orb into your bag, a ghostly shriek fills the room. From the dimly lit corners of the room five ghostly shadows emerge and turn their formless faces towards you all.

Time for more initiative :) 15

"Urgh. Your greed is as unsavory as those guided by their loins, sneak-thief!" Krolbrik growled, clearly not amused.

Bala's eyes snap back onto reality as soon as the shreiks filled the room. "Whoops..."
