Bala, you can't pin down the source.

Krolbrik and Aka, the crypts are completely empty. No coffin, no person effects, nothing. It seems both crypts were left unfinished and never sealed.

Adira feels a profound sense of unease at the sight of the unfinished crypt for the baby.

"Do you all mind if we look around the rest of this floor?" She'll turn to Krolbrik, "Maybe there's a place we can... place Rose and her brother."

"Hm... I wonder about that," Krolbrik shook his head. "I haven't sensed anything malevolent since our setting foot in Barovia, but I am troubled at how those children met their demise. This whole land is clearly bewitched after a fashion."

Ericina makes sure to recast her spell so that the flame does not go out while they need it. "Well we went right. So now we go left." She days, moving to step out of the room but not before pausing once she is out in the narrow corridor once more. She seems to be listening carefully for anything stranger then the whispering.

Perception: 24

I would like to check West, just a little ways to the first intersection.

"I'm staying in the back." Bala whispers, brandishing both of his daggers. 

"We should at least make an effort to see if that will help them pass on, and bala I'll be right in front of you." Roux will say while keeping a hand near his component pouch.

Ericina, you listen as closely as you can, but you hear nothing beyond the disembodied whispers and the sound of your party exploring the tunnels. All is quiet as you take the left turn and down the steps into a room with a wooden table and four chairs at the east end. To the west are four alcoves containing moldy straw pallets.

Adira, you reach the first intersection to the west and peek in, finding four sealed crypts. Each is inscribed with a different name and sealed with a heavy stone slab. They read "Gustav Durst," "Elizabeth Durst," "Rosavalda Durst," and "Thornboldt Durst." 

"Looks like a place for people to sleep. Onto the hallway?" Ericina asks as she waits for the others to join her, seemingly hacing a blast despite the creepy atmosphere of the place.

"Please. I don't want to know how big this Durst family gets."

"Should we go lay the children to rest down here? I think their names were rose and thorn yes? That's probably Rosavalda and Thornboldt" Roux will say looking like he just wants to leave for a second anyway. 

"If you want to bring their bodies down, I will go back upstairs with you to help."

Yes. if they aren't layed to rest, they could end up horrible monsters. We must. 

"We should ask them about that," Krolbrik added. "This place has seen much suffering and death. At the very least, they should have some input on where we lay down their remains."

The four of you return to the attic room to find it as you found it. The spirits of the children are nowhere to be seen.

Ericina will wait with any of those still in the hidden basement, staying close to the room she had entered after finding the first to crypts. To create some light she will continue to keep her cantrip up to have a small flame in her hand. With her free hand she will keep a tight grip on her scimitar, the weapon seeming to have some history for her as she smiles as she looks at the light reflecting off of it.

"Children? Are you here?" Krolbrik called out. "We have a question for you."

No response.

Bala will stay in the basement, walk further down the hall from where they came, to the room to his left and check both doors. "I swear if I find any more beds..."

Adira will take a sheet or blanket from one of the beds and, trying to keep her composure, wrap the smaller body in the cloth and carefully bring it down stairs.
