"This ain't a house, it's a spooky hotel!" Bala throws his hands in frustration and heads back down to the third floor, leaving everyone else to deal with the ghosts, heading to the room with double doors, kicking the armor helmet as he passes it.
Ericina, this dusty chamber is packed with old furniture: chairs, coat racks, standing mirrors, dress mannequins, and the like, all draped in dusty white sheets.
Krolbrik, Thorn looks at you and nods shyly.
Bala, you kick the armor's helmet making a loud rattle. The double doors to this room have dusty panes of stained glass set into them in a design that resembles windmills. The dusty, cobweb-filled master bedroom has burgundy drapes covering the windows. Furnishings include a four-poster bed with embroidered curtains and tattered gossamer veils, a matching pair of wardrobes, a vanity with a wood-framed mirror and jewelry box, and a padded chair. A rotting tiger-skin rug lies on the floor in front of the fireplace, which has a dust-covered portrait of Gustav and Elisabeth Durst hanging above it. A web-filled parlor in the southwest corner contains a table and two chairs. Resting on the dusty tablecloth is an empty porcelain bowl and a matching jug. A door facing the foot of the bed has a full-length mirror mounted on it. The door opens to reveal an empty, dust-choked closet. A door in the parlor leads to an outside balcony.
Aka, Rose answers you, "Walter was a stillborn, and a bastard." She practically spits the last word, but refuses to say more. Instead of elaborating, she turns to answer Roux, "Yes, the entrance is in the storage room across the hall."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ericina will go into the room and look around the furniture to see if she will find anything interesting even if it may only be furniture. As she does so she wilp pull the sheets off and throw them to the floor.
"Ooooo~!" Bala will skip right over to the jewelry box, pick it up, stroll over to the porcelain mug and bowl,"You two look expensive." Swipes those, takes the portrait of the Durst couple from the fireplace and blows the dust off it. "Lovely couple. I hate your house," he says to the portrait. And before Bala goes to the room across the hall, he will eagerly, but slowly, open up the jewelry box.

Ericina, near an iron stove, underneath one of the sheets, is an unlocked wooden trunk containing a tattered bedsheet stained with dry blood.
Roux, you feel along the wall of the storage room and find a loose panel, you pull it out from the wall and on the other side you see a narrow spiral staircase made of creaky wood is contained within a 5-foot-wide shaft of mortared stone. The staircase is so thick with cobwebs that its hard to see more than five feet down.
Yesqirelle, you follow along silently.
Bala, you swipe the porcelain vessels and place them into your bag. As you pop open the jewlery box, you see three well-made gold rings and a platinum necklace with a topaz stone set in the pendant. Across the hall, this dark room contains a wooden tub with clawed feet, a small iron stove with a kettle resting atop it, and a barrel under a spigot in the east wall. A cistern on the roof used to collect rainwater, which was borne down a pipe to the spigot; however, the plumbing no longer works.
Ericina will look at the blanket and then then leave the room to begin searching for more of the people she had entered with. If she can't find any that are still on the third floor she will make her way down each floor until she comes across someone.
"Gorgeous~" Bala will put the necklace in his bag while putting the rings on his fingers. Maybe this place will be worthwhile after all. His ears twitch to the wizard calling for everyone and groans. Bala puts the jewelry box back where he found it, head to the room next to the stairs to the attic to check it out, then head upstairs.
(Sorry for disappearing, I got like 3 projects due this week, lol. My posting should pick up again when winter break comes in a couple weeks. Until then I'll try to update at least once a day.)
Aka, you look around the room but there is nothing more of interest.
Ericina, you gather everyone in the attic and you all finally make your descent into the basement. The narrow wooden staircase, which is packed with cobwebs and dust, finally gives way into a narrow tunnel that stretches southward before branching east and west. The tunnels underneath the house are carved out of earth, clay, and rock and measure 4 feet wide by 7 feet high with timber braces at 5-foot intervals.
From the moment you arrive in the dungeon, you all can hear an eerie, incessant chant echoing. It’s impossible to gauge where the sound is coming from or what the words are but the non-stop chant fills you with unease. To the west you can see two branching paths to either side of the tunnel. Far down the tunnel to the west you can see what looks like a bench and the edge of a table in a room with a higher ceiling. To the east you can see one path branching off to the south before the tunnel ends in a north-ward turn.
Ercina will cast Produce Flame to make a light for herself and other with out darkvision to see with. The mad druid will walk to the branching paths, looking to the rest of the group. "So which way shall we go?" She asks before grumbling to herself about the chanting that fills the air around them.
"I'm afraid I must go, young ones, but you've my word that I will return and assure you two are given the proper rest you deserve. I'm sorry only that none were able to arrive in time to aid you two in your hour of need."
And with that, Krolbrik would depart the spectres of the children with a sad, hopefully reassuring smile as he would join the others in the basement at Roux and Ercina's direction. Though Ercina's flame certainly helped to give others vision and only further enhanced his own ability to see in darkness and dim light, the chanting made Krolbrik very wary. He couldn't make out the words from here as they echoed through the halls, but what was very clear was that they were not alone in this decrepit house of death and decay.
"Hold," Krolbrik would rumble, holding up a hand and making his way to the front of the group at a bit of a slower pace than before; with the adrenaline now out of his veins, it was clear that the clash with the suit of armor had left its mark upon him. When he spoke again, his voice lowered to a whisper. "We've only just made our way down here. Let us not traipse about this place blindly. Let us take a moment to try and recollect ourselves, regain our bearings, and try to take in our surroundings. I suggest, from this point on, we assume that we're not alone."
With that, Krolbrik would peer around, listening carefully to the chanting; though he couldn't tell where it was coming from or what was being said, perhaps he could at the very least glean what type of chant it was from the timing and range of the notation?
(OOC: would I roll perception, arcana or religion for this??? Also, just wanted to draw attention to the fact that Krolbrik's still sitting at 7/13 HP, guys. :) )

I'm sorry. You'll have to wait a bit, we have to find the monster. A painting had a baby in it. Do you know where it is?

"Does that spiral staircase lead down to the basment?" Roux will ask referring to the one he found in the attic of the dollhouse replica thing

Really now? Did you? Is there a baby in there? What about a monster? Aka runs over to Roux, after picking up his arrows and bow and stowing them.
