Suddenly the door of the tavern swings open. Another half-orc stands in the opening, an armoured half-orc, his shield hanging loosely around his left arm. Not making the entrance he hoped, Atrabash gauges the atmosphere. "Great", he thinks, "I was hoping to have a quiet evening after a long days travel." It certainly wouldn't be the first bar fight he broke up, but hesitantly he decides to wait this one out. It seems to be resolving itself anyway. The only way to reach the bar is through the fight, so he decides to slowly pace away from the door towards one of the supporting wooden beams. This way he can observe the fight and intervene should things escalate any further.
Watching the fight makes him think of the reason why he came to Waterdeep. Since he started his quest, he has been wandering around, not knowing where to go next. Until he heard the stories of the unrest in Waterdeep. Somehow he knew he had to go there, as if something or someone called for him. Bringing him back to the moment he wonders, "Is this bar fight a sign?".
Krisphyra notices the half-orc come in and try to skirt around the brawl, and taps the table below them, "I've got a pretty good view here, friend."

Atrabash is a caught off-guard by the strange elvish person. "Hmm, thanks....", mutters the half-orc, while slowly releasing his fist, clenching his shield. Not fully understanding whether it was a true invitation, he awkwardly tries to sit next to Krisphyra. Realizing the tables are too small for two persons to sit comfortably (certainly a half-orc), he remains standing next to it. After a few seconds he turns and says, "I'm Atrabash, just...so...you know. Friend?"
"Krisphyra." There's a pause before they add, unnecessarily, "Is my name." They offer Atrabash a serene smile then turn back to keep an eye on the fight.

Knocking back the remains of his tankard, Reed stood up, skirting the edge of the tavern as he went, keeping a bemused eye on the conflict. If he could hazard a guess on the type of the people the fighters were, it wasn't going to end peacefully in spite of the interference, but it would certainly be interesting to see where that went. It seemed a bit crowded to reach the door, so he ended up grabbing an empty seat at a different table, where a drow and a half-orc sat in brief conversation. "Hope y'don't mind if I cut in!" he said with a grin, folding his arms across the table. "Pleasure to meet you folks. What're you doin over here? Aside from watching the 'entertainment'," he said, nodding towards the brewing conflict.

With the arrival of newcomers into the brawl, although it takes Raukiam some time to push through the crowd, things quickly begin to get out of hand. Behind Stilgar it is quickly apparent that the human has become bloodied and bruised, and the half-orc is quite happily on the way to rendering him unconscious. Despite even Raukiam's attempt at intimidation you get the sense that the half-orc will win this fight, and then the rest of the human's group of friends will barrel their way through those who stand in their way to beat the half-orc to pieces in return.
Everyone, roll initiative please. Initiative is a group effort, so highest roll is the group's initiative. Post your actions in whatever order you wish on the group's turn. I'm in the process of working on a battle map and shall have one ready soon. Those of you who are watching the mess please inform me about how far away from the combat, and the crowd around the combat, you are.
Stilgar -- you are between the four human's and the brawl, correct?
Raukiam -- where are you positioned in this brawl group?

Raukiam watches as the half orc jumps on one of the humans, beating him down, a surprised look on his face. He thought, by allying himself with the half-orc, the humans would be too frightened to fight an armed and armoured man. It seemed he was wrong. Already, he could see the head cleric admonishing him for getting into the middle of this, but what else was he to do. It was one half-orc against a band of humans. With a silent, curse, he grabs his shield from the bar and looks directly in front of him where a bandit stands and lunges at him with a fist

Upon seeing the brawl escalate, Atrabash decides it might be time to break up the fight. Even though the human started the fight, nobody deserves to be beat to pulp like this. From one of the corners of the tavern, he starts making his way to stop the half-orc. He tightens his grip on his shield but leaves the javelin where it is for now.

Garrus had just arrived in Waterdeep, the city was strange to him, but the large crowds allowed him to move with little difficulty. Regardless, he still pulled up his hood and mask, hiding his pointed ears and white hair. After wandering around the city for a bit, he was finally able to find a in, but as soon as he entered a fight had begun.
Slightly off guard the the commotion, Garrus almost drew his blades, but stopped himself. It wasn't his business. He went to look for a spot near the wall that he could rest up at. Luckily the fight had many people leave their tables, so there was a large selection. Leaning up against the wall, he keeps an eye out for any possible trouble that could come his way.

Krisphyra winces as they watch the human get a beat down. Despite being outnumbered the half-orc seems to be holding her own. Enough people have stepped in at this point that they will wait and see if their assistance is required. Though usually brawls resolve themselves one way or another.

Well, this was going nowhere fast, and sitting around while people were hitting each other was making him feel antsy. Rolling up his sleeves and biting back a sigh, Reed stood up, darting forward into the fray. He swung at the nearest member of the human's group with his bare fists, aiming to clock them squarely in the jaw.

After finishing his small rhyme, Zefdrey decided it would be best to wait and see how the situation would evolve. He kept an eye on Stilgar, keeping his hand on the rapier, ready to intervene to help the Arakocra.
At this point to those paying attention it is pretty obvious that Krantz is about to be flat out knocked out. The bandits that came with him gear up to beat Yagra senseless when you begin to intervene. One says: "Stay outta our way, bird-freak," with a sneer and a bit of spittle while the other two begin to slowly creep towards Yagra. The others ready their fists and glance about to see those preparing for an all out full-bar brawl.
That is when the first punch hits from Ruakaim, a solid smack right across the man's jaw that sends him tumbling to the floor dazed. He's shaking his head and trying to figure out just what happened when Reed lands another punch to the guy standing next to him, right into the soft spaces between his rough leather armor. He wheezes and shouts: "Feck this, attack!" and pandemonium ensues.
The downed bandit attempts to crawl away with a tired groan. He wants nothing more in this fight with a split lip and a bloodied nose and probable concussion. The bandit next to Reed readies his fists and hisses out to land a punch.
Attack of opportunity for Raukaim on the bandit he punched; D4 bandit moved to E3
Attack: 15 Damage: 1
D4 to E3, F6 to G6, E5 to F4
Another bandit who shifted closer to Yagra decides that Stilgar will make a better target, since Stilgar interrupted their work anyway, and lets out a yell as he aims a punch at the Aarakocra. The other bandit that began his movement around Stilgar reaches his goal to be closer to Yagra and aims a punch at her, shoving aside the chair as he does so.
Attack: 18 Damage: 1
E5 moved to F4 and attacks
E6 moved to G6 and attacks Yagra
Attack: 5 Damage: 1
It is at this time that you can see also Krantz has been rendered fully unconscious from Yagra's last blow, a crumpled and bloodied heap on the floor as Yagra breathes out what should be a sigh of relief. She is stretching her muscles when the bandit comes at her.
Garrus, now sitting at the table, is just gonna pull out his own deck of cards, shuffle them then draw the first 2 to see his fortune (am drawing cards IRL).
The first card is, The Six of Glyphs, the Anarchist. Glancing at the anarchy that is the fight, Garrus rolls his eye, "Could have told me that before walking in hear."
The second card is, The Raven. Drawing this card, Garrus frowns, glancing at the bird-man that is deep in the fight, "........" He sighs and now watches the fight with vested interest. He hated that card.
"Nice hit."Stilgar will say to the thug "Just remember that you started this." Still holding his spear, but instead punching and throwing a kick towards the thug(s):
Unarmed attack (punch) the one one that hit me, ACTiON: Attack: 18 Damage: 8
If he's still up again, or if not another nearby (side kick) BONUS ACTION: Attack: 21 Damage: 8
Watching at least one thug drop to the floor Stilgar will step back from the fight and look around at everyone now involved. "Well now it's unfair the other way..." he says to himself a bit puzzled as to how things go this far out of hand.
Noticing the one that he punched looked almost completely dazed, Raukiam felt a surge of regret. Perhaps he hit the poor man too hard, but then they were in a bar fight against a single woman. Multiple people, against one. He shouldn't feel bad, and yet he did. With a silent curse, he approaches the man that almost practically limped away from him and kneels before him."I may have overexerted myself," he said with a grimace, "accept Ilmater's blessing, and stay out of this fight."Raukiam presses his hand onto the man's head and makes a silent prayer before standing up again.

The attack hits, although not hard. Gritting his teeth, Reed took a single step back with the impact. Knuckles going pale, he reaches up, pulling off his thick coat and heavy scarf, hurling them out of the way. Underneath, his skin is marred with various thick tangled scars, and various tattoos, linked together by an ink pattern reminiscent of barbed wire curling across his entire body. Blood pumping through him, the seemingly calm half-elf began to Rage. Knuckles bared, he swings at the thug who hit him. Attack: 22 Dmg: 7 (unarmed strike)

After knocking a couple people out, Stilgar (since he's being blocked by the crowd to step back), will use his movement to fly up 15-20 feet to see what's happening. The fight is now too one sided the other way.
Zedfrey, seeing that he's being flanked by two, decided that the best course of action for the moment would be to move away and avoid being overwhelmed. "If I could use my rapier it would be another story", he thought, "but punching is not really my thing".
Taking the chance of a slight distraction of his opponents he jumped back just to be out of reach, then moved away towards the half-orc, ready to give any assistance and cover her flank.
Disengage action, then movement from F3 to I4.
