Grimm walks up to Kara and pats her on her shoulder. She doesn't say a thing.
She then scrawls something onto a scrap of paper and places it in Klarq's mouth. She walks to the dead goblin and performs the same actions.
Seeing Zanigur undoing the knot to pull up the rope, she takes a defensive position between him and the unexplored cavern so that he can do so without having to worry of a secondary attack.
She only comments, "At some point, we should discuss rules of engagement."
Zanigur and Grimm have no issues in binding the unconscious goblin with Kara's instructions.
The other two goblins skid to a halt as they look back at Puck standing there with his arrow pointed at them. They share a brief look before dropping their weapons to the ground and raising their hands above their head in that universal show of "we surrender". They stand there, looking to Puck expectantly, unsure what they should do next...
To Grimm, Zanigur says, “I’m always up for that, darling, but first we’ve got a bugbear’s head to remove.” He grabs one of the goblin’s blades and, if he can find one, a spear or long pole of some sort, and makes his way over to Klarq’s corpse, intent on chopping off the head with a goblin sword.
“Once they see this, we’re in business,” he calls to the others.
"Very smart, my new friends. Now, let's reconvene with the rest of our friends, shall we?"
Puck gestures his bow back towards the room where his party members are and waits until the goblins cross in front of him so that we can walk behind them and insure they don't try anything stupid with his back turned. As they descend the stairs, Puck calls out to the rest of the party.
"Ladies and gentleman, got a couple of new friends coming in. They are unarmed and have agreed to cooperate. Let's welcome them with open arms, aye?"
Puck leads the goblins to the center of the room and in structs them to sit on the floor next to the other remaining living (sleeping) goblin.
"Alright. Now let's start simple. Where are our friends and why did you take them?"
Grimm walks up to Zanigur and with his help adorns her face and armor with the blood of the bugbear, "Maybe this will convince them that someone else is in charge."
Grimm's entire face is dripping in blood. Her shield marked with streaks of the gore. She puts her mace on the hook of her belt and picks up the Klarq's morningstar.
"I'm not used to wielding such a weapon, but it should drive the point to the rest of the clan."
Irena calls out to Kara, "Kara, bring the rope over - we've one sleeping goblin and two live ones to tie up - we can create a daisy chain with the rope and add more goblins as we find them."
Then to Puck, "I speak goblin. I'll translate verbatim for you."
Kara nods solemnly as she offers Klarq a silent prayer. Perhaps in the cycle of rebirth, he will have a chance to live an honest life. As the others deliberate somewhat and handle the new goblins, she attends to tying them up as Grimm suggested. "I pray we see no more bloodshed for the rest of this day, dear friends,"she whispers as she works on her assigned task. Once she is done, she will stand guard by the goblins to ensure they don't struggle but also to intervene if negotiations become... drastic.

The two conscious goblins look around the small room and confirm their suspicions that Klarq was dead. They look at the bound one before sharing a look and begin answering in broken Common. "How many you kill? We had ten and eight. Dunno how many you kill, so no know how many left. Prisoner is across the bridge. No traps. What you do with us? Kill us? Feed us to wolves?"
Nene, you have followed the trail from the abandoned caravan to what appears to be a thicket partially hiding the entrance to a cavern from which a small, steady stream empties as the rushes past your feet. Your keen eyes and ears don't pick up any sounds currently beyond the rush of the water, but you are pretty sure the one you seek went into the cave and has not yet come out...
“We’ve killed your sentries outside, and the ones you see here, not to mention the ambush party you had set up on the road a ways out from here,” says Zanigur. “I have an idea how you could be useful...”
Zanigur will ask the others in a low voice, “What if we used them as heralds? Have them walk in front of us, declaring our victory as the killers of Klarq? I think our best bet is to declare Grimm here the new boss of the cave, use it as a bargaining chip. Goblins respect power even though they grasp at it.”
"A sound idea if I ever heard one. Best to be quick and rescue the hostages and interrogate the goblins as a whole. I have other business in this region and I wonder if they might know a thing or two about it..." Kara shifts from one foot to another before nodding and moving forward with whatever the group agrees to do. She decides to attempt to look like one of Grimm's enforcers. Best to play the part so that the fighting in these dark caves might cease at last.

Nene listens carefully, but cannot pick up any sounds but the rushing water and a few chirping birds. It seems entirely peaceful. Trying to remain in the shadows, she cautiously makes her way through the thicket towards the entrance of the cavern and peeks inside. I've never been this close, he could be right in here! I hope the others are nice, but if they're Puck's friends, they must be.
To Puck, Zanigur speaks in a low voice. “Should we split up at this point? Now that we have cooperation of these goblins, perhaps one or two of us should hang back and circle around, in case of an ambush.”
"A show of force will cower a weaker enemy," Grimm suggests.
"Let's be quick about it."
As all three goblins are tied to each other (post 294), Grimm kicks the sleeping goblin awake and bares her fangs growling in common, "Klarq is dead. I bathe in his blood. You keep quiet and do as we say and you may live to see the moon rise once more."
Grimm grabs the rope binding the three of them and orders them... "Move - it's time we meet your clan."
She has them walk in front of her as heralds and directs them through the main passage.
"Irena - by my side, bow and arrow at the ready - if they say anything treacherous in their tongue... Execute them."
Once the goblins are not facing her, Grimm gives Irena and the others a wink.
"Smart idea. Split the bards? Happy to scamper on down the chimney and guard the entrance--make sure they didn't have a scouting party out and about that's going to turn up. Maybe one of the burly ladies should come along so I'm not alone."
Puck looks at Kara, then back at Zanigur, and gestures his head in Kara's direction.
"Maybe saving Lady Kara from seeing any more bloodshed--should it come to that--will be best for everyone."
Puck then steps away from Zanigur, and addresses the party openly.
"Love it, love it. This is a great plan--send the goblins as heralds announcing Miss Grimm as their gracious and humble new leader. In the meantime, I'll scamper on back down to the entrance and make sure we don't get blindsided by any more..." he looks at the bound goblins "...erm...new friends. Lady Kara--mind joining me? My words are convincing but I'm afraid my rapier can leave a bit to be desired."
Seeing tracks leading into the cave, Nene does not want to wait any longer and stealthily slinks into the cave. Her tail twitches in eager anticipation.
