Sim sees the peryton head away and readies his unsettling visage to suddenly shape shift his face into a monstrous form to startle the peryton should it attack him again. Then he draws his arrow and shoots again.
Abigail waits for a time to strike, and as the Peryton flies past, she strikes out at the beast (4). The Peryton, continuing it’s dive strike, misses with it’s horns on Sim, but kicks off of him with it’s talons (11). Sim, injured from the blow, turns and fires a arrow but didn’t give himself enough time to recover from the wound, causing the arrow to go wide. Diadochi drops his warhammer and gets ready to attempt to wrestle with the Peryton if it dives the group again. Yaalin heals Lafetha (+10), the spark of life returning to her once again.
Setup: Lafetha is alive once again, but laying prone on the ground. Abigail has jumped out from her hiding spot to slash the beast, still somewhat behind everyone. Sim and Yaalin have yet to move too far from their original spots. Diadochi is ready to try and grapple with the Peryton. The beast itself 25 feet away from everyone in the air.
Yaalin turns tracking the birds' movements as it speeds through the group again. Readying herself for it to come in range she will attempt to Grapple it as it comes in for another attack. Athletics7

Lafetha looks over at Yaalin, "thanks for that." She then looks at Diadochi and tells him he can have the last stone. Lafetha, herself, cast thorn whip attack 21 damage 3
The beast gets pulled back 10 feet from the thorn whip. It turns, heading over towards Lafetha once again, but Diadochi lunges at it. Attempting to grab ahold of one of it's wings. (Athletics 6)
It lands with a thud, as Diadochi grabs it and prevents it from moving. It turns it's attention towards the loxodon, trying to gore it with it's horns and leaping to claw him with his talons.
Summary: Lafetha tosses out a vine whip, it striking across the beasts hide and pulling it closer. As the beast turns and dives for Lafetha, Abigail strikes it across it's side (2) while Diadochi grabs it's wing and pulls it to the ground. The beast kicks Diadochi with it's razor sharp talons (7). Sim takes a step, recovers, and fires off a arrow that sticks into the beasts' hide (5). Yaalin moves over to assist Diadochi with the grappled creature. Between the two of them, they feel it huff and stagger.
It struggles for a few more moments against their grasp, before collapsing to the ground, eyes losing that spark of life.
Combat End
You all are still a few hours away from where you'd like to make camp. The dead Peryton lays out on the ground, slash marks from Abigail's blade having cut along a flight muscle, and the marks of damage from the magical impacts it took while in flight. Sim, you'd know they aren't solitary creatures and more could be in the region.
Diadochi picks up his Warhammer and looks to the group "we need to find somewhere where these things won't be able to find us. And then I very much need a respite." ((Diadochi wants to find a safe place for a short rest, of Sim tells him they can make it to camp safely he'll believe them.))
Sim watches as the peryton drops to the ground dead and then he does a quick check of the surrounding area for any others. perception19. Knowing enough about them to be concerned whether he sees them or not Sim speaks up "They rarely travel alone. We should move out of the area as quick as we can before it's roost mates return looking for it. We could find a secluded area to take a short rest for those who need it or to do some healing but we need to get going pretty quick."

It's tucked away enough to break some of the wind, but, nowhere is really safe on the mountain.

The hour passes without any issues (spend any Hit Dice, or magical healing for the short rest.) The colors of evening are beginning to shift from pinks, to the early night. It'll be another hour and change before reaching where you feel would make the best campsite for a longer period of time. Or you could decide to stay where you are.

Seeing Lafetha down, Abigail move out from behind Diadochi into the center of the group.
She readies herself in case the Peryton makes another pass through the group. "Alright bird-brain, lets see what you got!"
Seeing it dive at the group again she drives forward with her sword, attempting to skewer it on its pass.
