As Graxx walks over to Shandra, Utar breathes a sigh of relief. Those pictures the human barbarian was pointing at...those sure are some pictures. Good looking pictures.
The drawer flies off its socket, crashing onto the ground and damaging it a bit further. Inside, Praxx finds two vials of liquid and a small coin purse with the initials "IS" embroidered on it. One of the vials holds a bubbly red liquid that the bard easily recognizes as a Potion of Healing (common variety). The second vial contains a murky brown and silvery solution that does not look well mixed.
Praxx opens the coin purse and with a quick glance is able to count 5 platinum pieces (pp). He does not know what the second potion may be. Thankfully, Graxx's memory comes to the rescue.
Graxx recalls seeing a similar vial when he first arrived in Phlan. On that occasion, while on a quest to avenge a donkey, a male drow elf Zhentarim agent by the name of Chaab was rescued from a cave full of Kuo-Toa along with about a dozen farmhands. To show his appreciation, Chaab reluctantly rewarded the group of adventurers with two vials containing a magical concoction that looked similar to the one Praxx is now holding up. Rose, a gnomish mercenary hired along with Graxx, Drazzim, Utar and two others, kept those vials that day. Graxx remembers she called them each a Potion of Climbing.
(@DM_Prax: I'm assuming Praxx is keeping the Potion of Healing, right?)
Graxx walks over to Praxx, "Actually, these vials bring back a memory of a vile drow. It is a [Tooltip Not Found]. May come in handy if we need to approach the lighthouse from a different angle."
"So, does any of this help us understand what is going on with the lighthouse? Seems to me that from what we've seen is that he is of the studious sort."
Shandra takes the additional gold coin from Graxx and nods at Neya: “Well yes, Master Igan is very studious. He is specifically interested in the divine. Now, unless you think there is anything else worth your attention here, I believe it is time we leave his chambers alone, wouldn’t you say?”
She throws an especially attentive eye at Praxx, who is holding the personalized coin purse he found.
Graxx understands that his welcome is worn out. He will walk out of the room. While doing so he says, “Praxx, make sure to give that pouch to Shandra here. I don’t want anyone thinkin’ we took anything that’s not critical to solving these troubles.”
"I'm still quite curious as to what this helm is and why it is here... Would you object to me bringing it along with us and if, or when, we encounter Igan, ask him about it?"
Shandra to Graxx: "Many years ago the Black Fist tried to force the people of Phlan to worship Bane, but the people resisted, my grandfather used to tell me. The Lord Protector then stipulated freedom of religion to avoid riots. The Black Fist continued to worship their evil god but their efforts outside the order were never the same. It seems it was quite a blow to their beliefs. Not even the Black Fist supports the worship of Bane these days."
Shandra to Praxx: "Yes, please leave that coin purse where you found it, good master gnome."
Shandra to Utar: "Master Igan never mentioned such topics to me. I wouldn't know, really, except for when he would do things 'in the name of Tyr and Torm' when he was especially dedicated to a cause or another. My husband and I even picked up some fondness for Tyr and his right hand from Master Igan. Our son Rorin prefers not to pray... And you are welcome to borrow the book for however long you need it, my good sir. Please return it before leaving the island, that is all."
Shandra to Neya: "I am sure whatever ill has befallen this island has something to do with this helm, otherwise Master Igan wouldn't have kept it so secretly. Please take it with you and give it back to Master Igan when you see him."
Shandra nods to the group and escorts them back to their rooms with a warm "Good night!" before she leaves to her own abode. While going down the steps, she turns to look back at the group and adds "I've locked Master Igan's chambers again but feel free to let me know if you want me to unlock it for you once more in the morrow." It is dark out but it is still the early part of nighttime (think 8pm). Led by Neya, the group uses this alone time to discuss where to go next. Supper has been left in your rooms for you, probably by Rorin: fried white rice with roquefort, lima bean, soybean, and black walnut, served with chilled wine, poached eggs, peanut soup, and date pie. Something tells you your hosts mean to impress.
NOTE: Just because Shandra has called it a night and assumes you'll do the same, doesn't mean that you must do so. It's up to you what to do next.
Graxx will nod to Drazzim giving the OK.
Graxx will walkover and hand 13gp to Shandra. "I believe this should cover your repairs."
As Graxx walks over to Shandra, Utar breathes a sigh of relief. Those pictures the human barbarian was pointing at...those sure are some pictures. Good looking pictures.
Shandra takes the gold from Graxx: "That is one loyal group you all have here, where one of you pay another's bill. I am glad you came to help."
Drazzim then takes a good look at his glaive and greataxe, choosing the latter.
-> Greataxe (melee weapon attack) vs. Lock: Attack: 22 Damage: 9 slashing. The simple lock never stood a chance.
"All yours," he says to Praxx.
(@Grx: If you haven't done so yet, please remove 13gp from your inventory.)
Praxx ties his rope to the drawer handle and steps back about 5 ft. He then yanks the rope pulling the drawer open.
“dont worry Grax I will pay you back no problem!” Praxx says as he is pulling the rope

One of the vials holds a bubbly red liquid that the bard easily recognizes as a Potion of Healing (common variety). The second vial contains a murky brown and silvery solution that does not look well mixed.
Praxx unties the rope and puts it away.
”Any if you know what these are?” As he holds up the unknown vials to show the group. Medicine check maybe?- 7
Praxx also opens the coin purse to see if there is anything inside other than coin.
Graxx replies to Shandra, "A warrior without his clan is just a corpse that is not dead yet. I hope we are able to solve your issues."
Graxx sees the drawer hit the ground. Laughs slightly and then hands Shandra one more gold piece.
Graxx looks over the vials, "I never cared much for potions other than healing ones."
Graxx walks back to Shandra, "Tell me more of this Bane god. Is it something all people around here follow or just the Blackfist?"
Graxx looks away from the vials but then something catches his eye...(maybe)

Utar wanders over to Shandra, "Is Igan particularly interested is specific aspects of the divine? Or in the religions of a particular region?"
Looking down at his hand, he sees he is still holding the book, a finger kept between its pages holding his place.
"I am also interested in the religions of the Moonsea area, could I ask to borrow this tome? I would return it to your hand in the morning."

Utar bows his head in thanks to Shandra.
"My thanks, I shall leave in our rooms before venturing further around the island."
"Of course. Where should we search next...? The lighthouse or one of the towers?"
