Zoria hops over the pit, looking down at Scupper. "Mount me and I'll help you across."
If I am correct, you can only mount a creature that is one size larger than you and since I'm medium and Scupper is small, he should be able to mount me,.
Scupper has been standing at the edge of the pit...considering.
At Zoria's comment, he breaks his silent reverie and looks up...
Sorry, didja jest say? I don't see how a bit o' the ole...wait...oh for fecks sake. Right well I'll need a leg up then. Appreciate the help...but let's not dwell on the details.
Right so we found us a secret door and not much else but the redbrands that did come to the party is locked up good for now. How're we doing on your end? Cause I don't mind sayin' this place feels seven kind o' wrong.
Varinth looks around at the bones, tentatively shifting a couple with his foot.
Gobbers! You fought skelingtons! Well done SirsVarinth is obviously in awe.
Not much call for the supernatural back at the Tanning Pits. We thought we had a zombie once but it turned out that one of the Scrapers ate a naughty mushroom.
Strix takes a look (without approaching too close) at the closed door - does it open into or out of the room, are the hinges visible, does it have a lock or handle, is it made of wood, if so are the seams in the constituent boards visible, is the seam where the door ends and the frame begins protected or exposed, any peepholes, etc. and how does it compare with the door they entered by and the open door to the north.
Which way now? Path least resist? Break through? Hidden path in pool room? Always find hardest path have best rewards. Easy path funnel to trouble. But trouble is own reward..."

Strix, the door opens into the room and away from you, so the hinges are not visible to you. There is a metal handle which does not turn or otherwise move, and is only used to push and pull the door. The door is made of about ten wooden boards held together by metal strips, the seam is exposed but the door does fit quite snugly into its frame. There are no knotholes or other defects that would allow you to look through. It is similar in age, quality and build to the door that leads north and indeed most of the doors you have seen in this place. The door from the trapped hallway to the crypt is somewhat different, wider and higher quality.
Could the secret path lead us where we need to go? If there’s no other option than brute force to get this door open we may be better off going through the hidden door.
"This is just me, but wouldn't someone inside of a hidden door be more wary of intruders?" Zoria adds. "If someone is in a hidden room, then they're up to sneakies, therefore, they might be more alert, as opposed to just a regular door where someone on the other side could be living just like a normal day. Just my two coppers."

Zoria, you can carry Scupper easily on your back and jump across the pit, with a good run up.
Dekhan will mentally prepare himself to forever etch the sight of a hafling pirate riding a centaur as she leaps over a pit into his memory.
Dekhan, you think you're prepared but you're not. No-one could be.
It's too majestic for any being to fully comprehend. It requires a Wisdom save DC 43

As Vaz hugs the wall, inching his way across, he manages to look over his shoulder and catch a glimpse of the Leaping Magesty.
He lets out a Keanuesk "whoa"
Vaz, you make it across the ledge to the other side of the pit with no problem.

When the centaur sails over the pit Dekhan stares in wonder. They should have sent a poet.
"Let's that be the last o' this then, eh? By the 73 and three quarter hells. We're likely to wake the eyeball monster."

Aye Strix but whats the harder path? The one ye can't necessarily find?
So what's on the other side o' this door then?
