Dekhan will relinquish the flying elbow to his “great ideas” bag and instead move to X11 and attack the prone wizard Attack: 19 Damage: 6 if connects divine smite7 <divine smite
Are you thinking grapple again so both his arms are tied up and he can't cast? Or grapple again because he was pushed prone? (Pushing prone doesn't break a grapple, it's a 0ft movement, and he can't get back up). Definitely anyone going ahead of his next turn should be trying to do something other than hit him, even with advantage and a best case scenario that a 20 will hit through the shield, with a +5 to hit at advantage that's still... 6 hits out of 20... 36+168 out of 400 total results - that's 51% chance to hit him. Not bad actually. But there are only 3 viable melee spots, everyone else is at disadvantage, which drops it to around 9% chance to hit at best with the shield up.
Maybe I should have done these sums before I started chanting "Push him prone! Push him prone!" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
He's done 2 shields and 2 steps I think. Anyone got a Save vs. cantrip that dodges his AC boost? Otherwise Dekhan could try to grab his staff - I assume that since GS's at a disadvantage to any melee attack and melee against him is at an advantage there's a chance the advantage and disadvantages on the grab roll get cancelled out? If that succeeds, Strix gets to go ahead of GS next turn so he can kick the staff away, fill the Mage's mouth with water (that takes his free interaction to spit out) and get out of the way?

I have guiding bolt which would give someone advantage if a +5 hits him. His shield is only for the round, so I think if we huddle around him and make sure he can't move, eventually we'll break through his shield, or he'll run out of spell slots. Because to my knowledge, you can't cast more than 1 spell per turn, which means if he casts it as a reaction, he can only weapon attack or cantrip for his action and bonus.
And also I have word of radiance and thunderwave as a Con save, though thunderwave can be problematic due to the positioning. Otherwise, that's all I got.....
Trying to wrestle his staff away is an attack roll with disadvantage, and with shield I just don't see it happening...
Is the shield coming from the staff or is he casting it? If it’s coming from the staff then we really gotta get that think away from him and some how stop him from misty stepping away again...

I suppose it would take an action to figure that out, but I just reread the rules, if you cast a spell as a bonus action, you can only cast a cantrip as an action, which means he can cast shield as a reaction and misty step......so yeah, we need to take that staff away from him, however with disadvantage and shield.....It seems highly difficult for success. Not sure what the best course of action is here guys....
I mean, if we can keep him grappled we can just run a train on him pummling wise. Carousel it out and hopefully we get lucky with the advantage and get some hits through... maybe give him some horsey stomps to his hands so he can’t wiggle his magic fingers.
Disarms is an attack roll. Disadvantage for attacker due to two handed hold cancelled by advantage to melee because he's prone. And it's not contested by Ac, it's an opposed roll. And he's at disadvantage because it's melee and he's prone.
Vaz, I'm afraid it's the same thing again. You manage to avoid tumbling in, but your head is still not clear from the alcohol still in your system, and it's hard to keep your balance. You teeter on the brink, before jerking back to where you started.
Strix is up.

So that's a 19 + 3 = 22 Athletics check for Zoria, contested by Glasstaff's 17 Acrobatics.
Yep, he's prone. Have fun! Melee attacked at advantage, ranged attacks at disadvantage.
Incantis, Dekhan and Dario are up.
Scupper, you spend a round looking for secret drawers. There aren't any. Next round, we'll do the chest. :)
Did Zoria throw him off the stairs or is he prone where he was standing?

He's prone where he was standing.

As Dekhan strikes, there is a vibration from the staff, and your strike rebounds from Glasstaff's Shield. You have no idea of my power!
we gotta keep whaling on this dude until his slots are gone. Although now if someone could try to grapple him again...
Maybe I should have done these sums before I started chanting "Push him prone! Push him prone!" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay, if he’s still got ahold of the staff next round I’ll go for a disarm.
Incantis and Dario are up. Let's try to keep the game moving. :)
OOC: Are all our combatants missing?
Dario and incantis both move into the pool room. Dario takes an attack at disadvantage against the prone wizard:
Attack: 15 Damage: 9
Incantis fires an Eldritch Blast:
Attack: 8 Damage: 10
Both miss.
Round Four:
Group A: Vaz and Strix, in any order
Group B: Glasstaff (prone)
Group C: Dekhan, Incantis, Zoria and Dario. Also Scupper.
Group A is up. That's Vaz and Strix, in any order.
Vaz will yell at the pit
STUPID HOLE!
and then make a second attempt to cross
Acrobatics : 2
