As you leave, Kottok does not respond to anything you say, or move from where he lies on the ground.
The party resumes its journey north towards the Triboar trail; you lost a fair amount of time, and it is late afternoon when you reach the junction and turn east for the first time. You encounter no-one in the remaining hours of daylight, and stop to make camp as the sun is setting.
Can I have a watch order please, and a Perception check from those keeping watch.
OOC: I like Zoria's idea of having Soodi bunting Vaz on the head should she see something suspicious. What would a camels Perception be? hint hint nudge nudge
Scupper packs his remaining rations and feels much better after the rest and some food.
So eh, based on our informative friend, they tend to have one guard and ifn' we manage to kill Broghur, some o' them may up'n run. So what's our best way to get the fearless leader out o' his hidey-hole?
How's about it Dekhan? Feel like fightin' a orc leader one-on-one?
I could position myself in the less honorable position of hiding for a bowshot should things begin to require some kind of divine intervention...maybe even cast a bit of frost on our foe to slow 'im down some. I'm sure the Light won't mind a bit of Shade to keep watch over yer skin.
The description for Frost just says it forms on the target so if I'm hidden and still manage to somatic and verbal requirements, could it be done while remaining hidden?
Dekhan clasps Scuppers shoulder and says to him quietly what you did, Scupper, you did to save lives, our lives or those of other innocents. There’s dark before the dawn. But whatever happens, you’re my friend. In a clear voice, he says to the group. One on one it is! But if it looks like he’s winning, shoot him.
I assume you mean Frostbite? The spell has a verbal component, so speaking that would reveal you.
As you make your way along the Trail, you see on your left the looming mass of the Neverwinter Wood, the dark, thick forest, thousands of years old, reputed to contain druids, monsters, hidden magics and ruins of lost civilisations. To the right, the hills also come closer to the trail, though your path itself remains flat and close to sea level. Nevertheless you do begin to feel a little closed in, even though the area immediately around the trail is still flat grassland, populated only by small animals and the occasional flock of birds passing overhead.
Night comes, and you make camp. Feel free to continue conversations, but also give me a watch order (1st-4th) and a Perception check for each.

Strix bagsies Third Watch, because he loves him some dark before the dawn. Perception 18
Alas, it appears that he's actually dreaming that he volunteered for 3rd watch, where in reality he's tucked up in his cosy new bedroll cuddling his quarterstaff.

Varinth nods and climbs back on Soodi. He takes a slug of wine and gets himself and Soodi back in their position at the rear of the party.
I'll take the first watch. Probly be too drunk to take the latter. Vaz says somewhat somberly.
Perception : 2
oh dear
Zoria will watch 2nd.
I forgot how keeping watch works lol does everyone do it once, we just have to determine the order?
Is Soodi possibly able to help Vaz keep watch?

Scupper will take fourth. He's had a busy day and could use the first long rest after cleaning up as best he can.

The night passes calmly. Zoria and Strix, you both enjoy an unusual meteor shower that takes place around the changeover of your shifts.
The following day you pack up camp and set out east/north-east along the Triboar Trail again towards Conyberry.

Dekhan could challenge him? That's what they do in the stories that bards tell.. Varinth suggests
OOC: Was that a short or long rest?
(Long rest)

7, 5, 7...for being closer to the orcs, we seem to be slipping on our watch game haha! Here's hoping there's no beholders lurking about the forest.
