With the grace and agility of a beached herring, Varinth throws the hand directly in front of him. It hits the ground with a plud. This elicits another high pitched squeal as he runs, trips and as he hurriedly crab walks away from the severed limb he finally sees the shoulder shaking figure of Strix, trying desperately not to give away his jest.
YOU PUNCHNUGGET! WHERE THE FECK DID YOU GET A FECKING HAND?!
Between guffaws, Strix struggles out "from wizard. Him not need. Is zombie 'troller, but not know use yet." Sides fit to split, he wraps the hand back up and prepares to head off for the banshee as soon as someone points him in the right direction.
The party sets off, with six adventurers, six orcs, one ogre and one camel, all headed north towards the ruined village of Conyberry, back the way you had come previously.

You reach Conyberry around the middle of the afternoon; there's no sign of any change since you were last here. You easily spy the signs that Sister Garaele and Harun Kost described to you, the trail that leads into Neverwinter Wood and to the banshee Agatha. Do you wish to enter?
Remember, best behaviour. I get the impression that this otherworldy lass is big into formal politeness and the like. I think Sir Dekhan would the likely candidate to do the talking, what with his Thou's and Theretofore's.
"Should we make our presence known?" Zoria asks. "Something along the lines of, 'Hey Ms. Banshee we're here for conversations and pleasantries?' She might come to us instead of us coming to her?"
She's a banshee what likes her tree. I don't tink she's gonna meet us. But we do have te play nice. That wizard said she was tougher than him. We approach slow. We announce ourselves. We choose one speaker. Everyting rides on them...so Dekhan? Yer best behavior lad. I'll keep my gob shut and maybe the orcs keep the distance altogether. Not sure what a banshee thinks about their like.
I’ll talk to the banshee... We know we need to be polite, what was her name? Does anyone know anything about banshees? History 1I can’t seem to think of anything off the top of my head.
You enter the forest, following the trail; the orcs and ogre hang back a little, letting the party take the lead.
The forest grows dark and still as the trail winds deeper into the trees. Heavy vines and thick layers of moss drape the branches, and the air is noticeably colder than it was in the ruined village. Rounding a bend in the trail, you see what might be a shelter made from the warped branches of trees standing close together, woven into a dome in the shadows. A low doorway leads inside.
At this point Vaz will dismount from Soodi and suggest that her and Many Arrows stay here. He will untangle his staff from Soodis saddlebags and bunt himself with it Mage Armor and Mr Scupper (8/10). He will then point to the staff as he looks at Strix and whisper;
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Scupper takes a Mage Armor top up and tries to remember anything about Banshees in between his reading. He also has that ring on until the party decides who needs it most. What's he need to attune that?
(is that history or arcana or nature? Either way it's all the same rolln - no bonus) 15
The Ring of Protection requires attunement, which means spending time studying it; you can do so as part of a long or short rest, but no-one has done so yet.
Scupper, you know very little about banshees. They're maybe some kind of fey, maybe undead, you're not sure. Something to do with a curse?
Ooc : I'll fight you for the ring. Loser clearly needs the AC boost more :) neither of our characters should be staying still long enough to get hit though! Still fighting off my post-3am GoT hangover so no maths for me either.

Incantis has at-will mage armor and doesn't get hit nearly as often, either of you go for it!
Incantis listens closely to the party's conversation as he jolts from his reverie, thoughts about the cosmos trickling away like smoke into the heavens. "Banshees...they are a curious sort..."

OOC: Just to avoid any misunderstandings, Vaz is quite plainly holding back a smile as he reprimands Strix.

(OOC: Would you like to wait for others to confirm, or just set off?)
Scupper consults the map...walks over to Strix, nudges him in the right direction, and says...
That way...as the crow errr owl flies
Then his nose is back in his book as he lines up behind the shifter and prepares to march thataway.

Anyone for running off, stealing a ship, and dedicating our lives to piracy? The hours are shite but the perks are nice. No? Banshee it is then.

You need a top up?
"Strix not need staff. Got this!" He tugs at his old shirt, then frowns. "Troubled spirit, short fuse... Mebbe more Inky job than Dekhan job?"

So i can't do maths and promised myself after this last college math class I wouldn't even try...
So group coin to be divvied:
35 silver pieces
20 electrum pieces
20 gold pieces
5 platinum pieces.
one large pearl worth 100 gold pieces
Potion of Healing
a spell scroll of Darkness tiny
jewelled box worth 25 gold pieces
I'm always a fair to middling pin cushion in a fight but I'm open to debate on the ring.
