The others do manage to duck, and battle begins in earnest. Varinth, your ball of flame flies through the air, then sort of sputters, loses speed and swerves, missing the wraith entirely and hitting the rear wall. It bursts into a not very spectacular explosion of orange flames with a foof sound, doing no damage.
(Since this would provoke an AoO use action to take a swing at the wraith who I'm assuming can't be hurt by Strix. Mobile feat prevents his AoO
Quarterstaff Attack: 6 Damage: 5
Bonus Unarmed Attack: 21 Damage: 4
Then if possible use free interaction to attempt to open the chest.
Intent is to distract him so Scupper and Dekhan can hit him from behind with something that might hurt him. I don't think non-magical attacks will avail us much here. Also if it's trapped.... Actually if it's trapped this is an awful idea! Please don't be trapped! Unless it's it's an AoE trap that hurts the ghost too...)
Strix, your first quarterstaff attack seems to connect but pass through the wraith's form; your second unarmed attack connects though, where you think the creature's shoulder would be if it had shoulders. It does... almost no damage. The wraith does not even look at you, its eyes burning and fixed upon Dekhan. You are able to move away and kick the chest open; it's not trapped, and inside you see some coins, some jewels and a wooden pipe.
Dekhan walks toward the wraith, golden wings sprouting from his back as his eyes blaze even brighter. You will be gone from this place spirit, you will affront the Light no longer! Dekhan raises his shield and golden light surrounds it as well as he casts Shield of Faith

Yes, we are.
Incantis will stay back away from the wraith and let out an Eldritch Blast: Attack: 10 Damage: 7
The blast hits the wraith and it howls in pain and fury, but it is still very much focused on Dekhan. Incantis will also whisper words of encouragement into Dekhan's mind, giving him a bardic inspiration.
You see the wraith float over the dusty flagstones, hands reaching out to touch the paladin's face:
Attack: 15 Damage: 21
Instinctively, Dekhan raises his shield, and the wraith seems unable to push through it. It moans, and it's impossible to tell if the sound is angry, hateful or just sad.
Wraith's CON save: 12 Scupper, you see little flecks of ice appear on the wraith's shrouded form, but only very faintly. It continues to ignore you, but you do see its movements and reflexes slightly slowed, and it will have disavantage on its next attack, yes.
Round Two:
A: Varinth and Strix B: Incantis and Dekhan C: Wraith D: Scupper
Varinth, your fire bolt does not hit the wooden pipe, it hits the chest instead. Though the iron absorbs the heat without becoming misshapen, the chest and its contents are now scalding hot; the wooden parts of the pipe start to smolder slightly.
The wraith gives a moan, this time unmistakably of anger, and seems to lose interest in Dekhan and it faces towards the flame-haired sorcerer.
Strix is up
(Although Strix kicked the chest open, I think he kicked the lid, so I don't think the contents would have spilled out - I assume they're still inside, and that's how I've narrated. Varinth is tall enough to have seen inside, at a pinch.)
(well.... shit. Attack, then back off a little so to hit me he has to provoke AoO from D. Free interaction : wrap balaclava round hand. Will pick up stick or gems and run next turn so.)
Strix, your quarterstaff jabs a hole in the misty form of the wraith, though it seems to seal and reform as soon as you withdraw it, tendrils of darkness wrapping around your staff, trying to grasp it as you pull it back. Your unarmed strike goes wide of the mark as the floating shape twists and writhes in its fury. You withdraw, and its strikes against you, but you dodge easily.

Dekhan roars as he sees the wraith’s focus shift to Vaz. Do not think to flee me, wretch! Your fate was sealed the moment I set foot in your mockery of a domain! He swings Talon at the wraith Attack: 20 Damage: 11 forgot that was at advantage... attack at advantage 18

Talon strikes true, and the wraith is looking increasing tattered and wounded, and its attention moves back to Dekhan. Wordlessly, it once again reaches towards your face:
Attack: 24 Damage: 12
Despite the tiny ice crystals from Scupper's spell still clinging to it, the attack hits. Dekhan, you feel a terrible cold within you. It doesn't wash over you, so much as rise from your very heart, until it seems as though it will overwhelm you.
Make a CON saving throw. (You do still have your bardic inspiration)

Strix is up.
Strix darts into the room towards the iron chest.

The wraith snarls at the light but seems unaffected by it, for the moment.
Incantis is up.
Just checking to make sure my notifications are correct. We're still at Incantus yes?

Scupper is up.
Scupper attempted to freeze the wraith a bit. He casts frostbite (CON save DC 13 or 6 Damage and Disadvantage on attack)
"Show this thing the light, Dek! And save the mercy for those that deserve it!"
As a bonus action, Scupper gives Dekhan advantage on his next action.
Wraith's CON save: 12 Scupper, you see little flecks of ice appear on the wraith's shrouded form, but only very faintly. It continues to ignore you, but you do see its movements and reflexes slightly slowed, and it will have disavantage on its next attack, yes.

Varinth and Strix are up.
Seeing his spell fizzle Vaz exclaims FECK!
In the light of Dekhans brilliance, he notices the tumbles contents of the chest. A swinging, flickering light goes on in his addled brain.
He crouches by the edge of the doorway and takes aim at the wooden pipe, letting loose a Fire Bolt
To hit 7 Damage 4
(was going to pick that up and run away so I'll wait and see if that hits!)

Incantis and Dekhan are up.
Incantis places a hex on the wraith, dart southeast to get better line of sight for eldritch blast before grabbing cover just south of the door.
Attack: 12 Damage: 15
Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
((There's a typo but I don't wanna **** up the role with an edit))

It's a miss this time, as the Eldritch Blast slams into the wall just next to Strix's head, shattering a brick.
Dekhan is up.
