Incantis nod his acquiescence. Zhudala turns invisible and scurries forward as a spider, creeping up against the southern door and listening closely
Perception: 9
While his familiar scouts, Incantis turns to his party members, telepathing to them. "Fellows I wanted to say it's been a treasure having my fate intertwined with all of yours, whatever happens when we encounter the Black Spider."

Zhudala approaches, seeing no sign of danger, enemies or traps, and reaches the door where she squats, listening. The door is more ornate, expensive looking, than most others in this place, though of course any gleam has dulled over the years since the mine was abandoned. From behind the door, she hears... something. Movement. More than one creature. It's not clear, and not certain, but it's definitely not silence - something awaits behind the door.
So, past fate's door? Incantis asks, positioning himself west against the rubble, waiting to dart in. No traps, but Zhudala hears...something. SomethingS.

Fortune favors the bold. Open the door, I’ll toss this and hold them here. Dekhan readies his shield and a javelin, as he steps up to the door, ready to hurl the javelin at the first enemy he sees once the door is opens if.
The drow shrugs, his manacles rattling slightly. I will shout, as you wish. He accompanies Varinth, stands by the door, and calls out in common: It is done.
There is no response from inside, or at least not an obvious one. It's quiet, silent almost, and whatever Zhudala heard, you don't seem to hear it.
Which way does he usually come out from? We'll take the other way.
((And Vaz is all for freeing Vel. I think I asked Stix to do so but he didn't respond.))
The drow shrugs. From the north, more often I think.
If the group wills it, Strix will release the manacles
The group. Not the judgement-impaired lush :D

Hey! who you callin a Joodment Incalled Loosh, no actually that's fair. ;)
Can we get a quick scout of the other way then? Vaz says quietly to Incantis
Aye, Incantus... yer wee bird could give us a better understanding of what we're about to come up against.
Incantis nod his acquiescence. Zhudala turns invisible and scurries forward as a spider, creeping up against the southern door and listening closely

Dekhan smiles at Incantis, trying to convey his friendship back through the psychic bond.
Aye well if we die today, it's been a pleasure, lads.

Okay, so Dekhan and Incantis are in place. Where is everyone else?
Scupper takes up position behind Dek at the door. Bow at the ready.
Zhudala is in spider form and perched on the wall next to the door, out of everyone's way.

Strix should really be beside Dekhan then so we don't get bum-rushed. *gulp*

Dekhan bumps his shoulder against Strix’s and smiles as he mouths silently Here we go!
You with us Vee? Vaz says to the Drow If so, do you want to shout through the door "It is done" and give us a bit of a drop on these guys?
If he is in agreement Vaz will take position on the other side of the doorway near Inky. He will ready his diamond from his pouch of components.
I love you guys. he whispers, blushing.

OOC: Do the shackles need a key or can Vaz take them off?
