Yeemick, ye' are startin' these negotiations on the wrong feckin' foot and it's likely i'll cut it off should they continue in their current course. You hold as your hostage a bloody feckin' nobody and barely worth the blade you ready at his throat. I'm sure someone desires him alive but what we NEED is the other. The dwarf. But hold him if ye' like ye shite or release as Dekhan asks or kill him as Strix wishes. Jest recognize that your Ko brought us to you because you're in need of us not the other way 'round. Klarg has defended his power and left you holding a bloody stump for a fist...but we'd like him cut down and would leave you alive if our goals stay same-sies.
You give us th' numbers. How many has Klarg left? where is the dwarfh? Has the black spider shown his'elf? Are you ready to fight him again?
Incantis contents himself to observe for now, curious about his companions motivations and not particularly eager for more combat. He nevertheless readies dissonant whispers on the goblin holding Sildar in the event that violence breaks out, and waits for a potential opportunity to influence the conversation.

Does (s)he know yet, or are you looking together? Is it for you? (Well, it's a different world now!) Do you find yourself looking in jewellers windows wondering how many kidneys you really need? Relax! This is nothing compared to childcare costs!
If you know what you're looking for its often more economical and a little cooler too to buy a stone from a jeweller and have them set it in a ring style (s)he's happy with. You end up with something a little more personal. A lot depends on where you are and where you can get to. E.g. me and the Mrs flew to Antwerp for 3 days, picked a stone fresh from the diamond exchange Friday night, ring was ready Saturday night/ Sunday morning the valuation at home (Ireland) was close to double what we paid including travel costs plus we had a great time. Who says romance can't be value for money?
In a lot of diamond trading towns there are jewellers who advertise these services - you give them a couple of weeks notice, a favoured cut, grade and a budget, they have stones ready for you to pick from, 3-5 usually, at least one is way over budget and one is a little over budget but gorgeous, and they know you'll pick that one. And you get to use the eye thingy, and do internet research so you can talk about fire and sparkle and occlusions and not call it an "eye thingy" in public.
Anyway, just give your credit card company a heads up that you weren't hacked and you promise you'll pay them back eventually. They tend to start calling when you're trying to ring your respective parents to tell them the big news :)
And if the shop has free sweets, take them. No guilt, no shame. They'll show you rings they know you can't afford but will want anyway, even though you asked them not to - pay them back by eating your bodyweight in Cadbury Roses.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Varinth, knowing when things are beyond him, lets the others talk. He is also feeling rather parched. He looks around the room for evidence of fermentation. Of any sort.
While he's at it, he takes an interest in the bindings on Sildar. Can he make out what kind they are?
Yeemik seems to be beaten down by the wave of persuasion and intimidation that comes his way. Stop. Stop. he repeats, a little frantically. The other goblins look at him, uncertain; you get the sense that his control over this group is not particularly strong. However, he rallies at Scupper's words. Yes. Kill Klarg. He points to the east. Take human. He points at Sildar. Leave. Yeemik take tribe and go. Yeemik's tribe not fight today. You notice that the goblin on the stairs rolls her eyes at "Yeemik's tribe". On the other side of the cavern, the wolf starts to growl, but its handler pulls its chain back, keeping it under control.
Varinth, you can see that Sildar is securely bound and gagged with several different kinds of rope and twine, and a rag stuffed in his mouth and held in place by a cloth tied around his head. You're certain that he won't be able to free himself.
"Is it just me or does "Take this beaten up human and go get yourselves killed trying to weaken my enemy that I can't defeat myself" malarky sound like a bad deal? We take all the risks, this chump doesn't pay the ante and stands to win the whole pot? Mama Strix didn't raise me that way! Well, ok, technically she didn't raise me at all, but that's between me and the pillow I cry myself to sleep on.
The point is : Yeemik is weak. We're strong. Well, stronger. And I think that goblin girl was giving me the glad eye. This isn't Yeemik's tribe, this is our tribe. Someone give a rousing speech about how there's no human or goblin, elf or dwarf - there is only Strong and Weak. The strong lead, the weak follow. Let's get Wolfy boy and Foxy Goblinita to stand with us at least. Maybe spend a few of those magic berries getting the others on their feet and out of here - save any real healing for the human if you think he can handle himself.
If we let him leave with all his soldiers, they're going to wait for us outside the cave and finish off whatever Klarg leaves. I mean, how likely is it that they'll find another cave with a split level layout like this? It's a fantastic use of space, look at how it flows, they'd be mad to let it go. But we let Yeemik walk alone, we go face down Klarg, we get paid, and when you guys pass back this way in a few years time you can come play on my split level cave decking with my hot green wife and a litter of owlgoblin bab-urrrrgh. Bab-uuuuugh. Urgggghg." Strix doubles over and groans faint "I'm...not...going.... back...in... thuuuuhhh...." then stands up and blinks a few times, smiling.
Might I weigh in, friends? Incantis projects to his recent companions. Yeemik's underling might have shown us aid, but only when bested. I remember just mere hours ago being viciously taunted and tortured. These slimy greenskins are not to be trusted, they are a perversion of sylvankind. I say we send in Yeemik first to distract this 'Klarg', and mop them all up.

"Yeemik sound on level. Strix say kill Klarg!"
There's a bunch of different text formats here so it's hard to know where Strix stops and Nunberry begins, even with Strix' odd speech patterns.
By my count there are 4 wounded goblins, 4 goblins and a wolf, and then this Yeemick character. I feel like this wouldn't be a particularly hard fight, considering how many of us there are. So Asher is quite keen on blowing through all of this talk and going to attack. So Asher grips his glaive and takes a step forward, ready to attack if something isn't decided soon.
Dario takes a step back and to the side as half his companions argue with the Goblin about what to do. He listens to Strix, or whoever is inside Strix and then he hears the voice of Incantis in his head. He is unsure of what his companions plan to do, but then he notices Asher movie into combat position. This is going to end in bloodshed Dario thinks. He pulls out an arrow and without bringing any attention notches in his bow, never keeping his eye off the Goblin who is holding the human hostage with his scimitar.
Yeemik becomes agitated as he sees Asher step forward. Stop. Or kill. He holds his scimitar close to Sildar's throat. It's hard to tell if Sildar is aware of where he is and what's going on.
Dario, make either a Sleight of Hand check or a Stealth check to get an arrow ready without attracting Yeemik's attention.
Sorry, I possibly should have explained but since I'm making it up as I go along I don't always have an explanation! When his text goes dark the Strix para-personality that keeps a strict, disciplined hold over his urges has slipped. When it goes lighthe has control, but the para-personality is quite rudimentary, which i reflect in the limited sentence structure. It's a long, not very interesting story but essentially while he thinks he's being conditioned to control his shifting and prevent a permanent descent into animalism, actually he's repressing his id and the shifting has nothing to do with any of it.
It does not help that in talking to the Goblins the unsuppressed id had to talk in the same broken english as his jailor; Yeah, in retrospect that was a point where maybe I should have said something but since it mechanically doesn't affect the game apart from how much work you have to put into understanding me, and it's just for me I was a little embarrassed to do it :D
Anyway, the point is, all that orange text was said out loud and in character.
Ye' got anything o' actual value, Yeemik...to have us go fight your war? I'd say we're close to a decision that looks less favorable than ye'd hoped. The tribe ye' call yorn is looking to vote you down and hold new elections. I'm for the kid with the daggers. He's got potential. Some o' yorn itches to fight. Best they fight Klarg WITH us instead OF us. Time to step up and lead, gobo. Life's a bloody thing. You'll not find yourself clean of it this day.

Asher, you can see chains against the far wall, similar to those used for the wolves in the last room. The collars on chains are looped and hanging from the wall, except one, in an area which has been disturbed very recently. Make an Investigation check.
