OOC: Serak, with Beetles attack wolf 1 would be awake but still prone for your attack. It’ll make your required dash a bit of a risk.
D/A from the prone and Adv for unconscious would cancel each other out if you wanted to make a ranged attack against a different wolf and give healing to the woman? Whatever you go with is fine with me though!
OOC: Serak will move to the square directly east of the woman and heal her. He'll use his Reaction to melee attack any wolf that comes within melee range before it has a chance to attack.

Beetle charges forwards with Serak, determined to save the woman from the approaching wolves. Skidding to a halt besides the stricken woman, the paladin gets his first glance of the slumbering hounds. Pointing towards the nearest wolf, Talon springs to life, sparks of bright energy drawn from its hilt to the blades tip. With a bright flash, a crackling beam of light soars through the air.
Attack: 15 Damage: 9
Parting the lush grass as it tears through the air, the energy blasts into the sleeping wolf, sending violent shock waves through its body. With a jolt the wolf awakens, its body convulsing uncontrollably as it lies helplessly on the ground.
Meanwhile, Serak hurdles the boulder, crouching beside the woman. Pulling back her ragged over cloak, her beautiful elven face is revealed, framed by a knot of black hair. Her eyes tightly shut as Serak whispers the spell to her, hoping that he is not too late, "Vitala!"
Injured Woman HP Healed: 4
The elfs eyes flicker within her closed lids as she finally begins to breathe again. Wearily she opens her eyes, glancing nervously about for her saviour. Serak is already on his feet, rapier drawn, prepared for any wolf that dare approach him.
Stumbling forwards as fast as he can, Brots charges up the hillside to the right. With his bow in hand he plonks himself in a perfect position on the hilltop. Closing his eyes tightly, the gnome mutters to himself quietly, calling forth the power of the forest to empower his next attack. "Aith Ogor!" Casting Hail of Thorns and grabbing an arrow from his quiver, he grins to himself as it begins to sprout thorns before him.
Watching the scene unfold below him, he whistles out to Lucas, sending him out over the wolves. With luck the hawk will alert them should any more beasts appear.
As she stirs, the injured woman weakly reaches a hand inside her blooded cloak. As it emerges, covered in a mixture of blood and bark, the elf mutters something in elvish that those nearby can barely make out. Her fair skin slowly turns a deep brown colour, hardening all over as if made of wood. As she struggles to make it to her feet, she finally manages to prop herself up against the nearby tree. Her hands perfectly camouflaged against the aged bark of the trunk.
Gingerly pulling itself to its feet, the lead wolf snarls baring its gleaming white teeth. Still suffering from the effects of its violent awakening the beast tears forwards, charging towards the injured elf.
The other two wolves, continue to sleep peacefully, curled up beside each other a short distance away.
A blast of sheer cold streaks past Serak and Beetle, swirling around the wolf as it bounds forward. Syna has positioned himself perfectly in the background, his arm outstretched, crystals of ice glistening on his fingertips.
Wolf 1 Constitution Save: 21 Spell Save DC: 13
Damage: 3
Stopping in its tracks momentarily, the wolfs body tenses and crispens as the blizzard spins around it. The grey hair covering its body glistens with white as the wolf shakes, trying to rid itself of the freezing ice.
OOC: Zyltris, this takes you up to your turn. Beetle, Serak, Syna and Brots can move as well seeing as there's not much likely to change between now and the next round.
Also, I’ve sent you guys a group message just to keep you updated and get some feedback on how the campaigns going so far
Serak: Swinging his rapier back and forth wildly, Serak fends off the ravenous wolf. Leaving the wounded canine to Beetle, the bard scoops up the injured damsel heroically and says, "Fear not, you're safe now, m'lady. Serak The Skald, at your service." He carries the elf woman toward Syna for further assistance.

"Not all those who wander are lost." - J.R.R. Tolkien
Zyltris bolts forwards towards the snarling, following the chilly wind as fast as he can. Drawing his morningstar he leaps between Serak and the woman, landing heavily before the frozen wolf. His eyes meet those of the beast, as it bares its teeth and barks angrily back at him.

Determined to stop the approaching wolf, Beetle pushes his way forwards into a spot beside Zyltris. The weak must be defended and these wolves must be driven back. With Talon is hand, the paladin draws a wide arc through the air, slashing his blade with ease through the frigid air.
Attack: 10
Managing to crouch down low as it prepares to pounce, the wolf ducks under the swing steel. Blood lust fills its eyes as it lurches forwards.
The woman struggles to hold her weight, leaning heavily against the old tree. Sounds of battle fill the air around her, but she has no strength to care. Perhaps her time has finally come. As she accepts her fate, a strong arm grabs her from behind, throws her into the air and carries her off. Through a weary eye she can barely see the blurry shapes of two armoured men and a huge beast bouncing violently up and down. Disorientated and queasy from the movement, she hears a voice loudly in her ear, "Fear not, you're safe now, m'lady. Serak The Skald, at your service."
Suddenly the bouncing stops and she is placed carefully down onto the ground. Still she dares not to open her eyes fully. Another being now stands beside her, their voices muffled as they talk between each other hurriedly. Too weak to move, she prepares herself for the worst, running through a short prayer in her mind.
On the hill top, Brots sees Serak escort the injured woman to safety. Pulling his bow tightly he aims towards the sleeping wolves, thorned arrow in hand. He releases his bow string and the jagged missile soars through the air.
Brots Attack Roll: 22
Caught by the wind, the arrow veers wildly off course. The gnome is frustrated with himself, "Aim into the wind you fool." Grabbing another thorned arrow, he aims more carefully this time.
A set of snarling jaws springs forwards towards Zyltris. The huge body of the wolf springing off from its thick muscular hind legs. Monstrous front paws lead the way as it hurtles through the air.
Wolf 1 Attack Roll: 17 (+d/a from Frostbite)
With an outstretched leg, Zyltris lands a kick directly into the wolfs head, thrusting it backwards with a whimper. Circling back around, the beast shakes its coat free of the ice and barks loudly.
In the field beyond, the other two wolves continue to sleep soundly. Chasing sheep and tormenting weary travellers, the scent of blood filling their noses.
OOC: Syna and Zyltris, that takes us up to your turns.
Syna:
With the woman sprawled out below him, Syna now has the chance to see her up close for the first time. A middle aged wood elf, beautiful of face beneath the thick wooden bark. Despite the disguise, he identifies her immediately. He should have known by her barkskin spell, but seeing her jet black hair now is a clear giveaway. Before him, lying broken and bloody is the body of Jelenneth Eathalena - one of his former masters. The druid who had saved and trained him so long ago with her husband Dayereth the monk. His stomach sinks, she is in a bad way. A million questions race through his mind, but first he must return a favour from long ago.

Synas fingers numb slightly as he reaches out to the wolf again. A blast of cold roars through the mouth of the valley once more, leaving icy crystals falling gently onto the grass behind.
Wolf 1 Constitution Save: 3 Spell Save DC: 13
Beetle and Zyltris both shiver in their armour as the beast shakes itself free of the ice. Its thick black coat fluffs around it, shielding it from the intense cold.
Disappointed with his efforts, Syna turns his attention back to the injured elf. Closing his eyes tightly he utters an incantation under his breath, sending healing energy into her body. Her strength slowly returning, the woman finally has the energy to pry open her eyes. The daylight is so bright forcing her to squint at those who saved her. Their faces blurred through her watery eyes.

With the wolf distracted as it shakes its massive head, Zyltris slams his morningstar into it.
Attack: 24 Damage: 7 (+1d8 from Crit - 5) = 12
With devastating accuracy, the elf smashes the hounds skull into pieces. Its body hits the floor with a thump as it dies instantly. Turning his attention to the other sleeping wolves, Zyltris turns to Beetle beside him, waves a hand before him and invites him to take the lead.

Serak: Placing the elf woman gently on the ground, Serak leaves her in Syna's care as he joins Brots on the hill. Standing to the Ranger's left, he nocks a goblin arrow and takes aim at the wolves.
