OOC: its fine we can keep it if your fine with it to save time. My goal was to get the archer and hopefully draw the others attention from the group while they pick the rest off...lol
OOC: how should we approach asking questions? I’d like to know what type of armor the goblins are wearing. Do you want us to just ask or roll perception, etc.?

Zyltris steps up to the nearest goblin with his morningstar in one hand and shield in another. With a fierce swing he attempts to strike the goblin in the back of the head.
Beetlejuice charges the goblins, attacking the one with the bow and hoping to cause enough commotion to draw the other goblins attention away from others.

Goblin Archers Constitution Saving Throw 10 vs Synas Spell Save DC 13
Goblin takes 4 of cold damage
The Goblin Archer breathes heavily and raises his bow towards Beetle in a last effort to deal some vengeance. As he latches an arrow, Syna steps out of the fog, forming a shivering frost on the Goblin Archers bloody naked body. Unable to resist the Goblin falls rigid, frozen solid and dead.
High on the opposite ridge a war horn blows. A frenzy of heavy panicked footsteps follows, breaking free from the bushes on the other embankment.
"Be ready friends!!!" Beetle exclaims, "One more goblin here but something else is coming, may not be goblins though by the sound of the footsteps." With that said Beetle eyes up the 2nd goblin preparing for his next strike.
Seraks crossbow bolt grazes against the Scimitar wielding Goblins armour but fails to cause any damage. The goblin turns, now aware of the companies positioning. Hatred in his eyes.
A third goblin, carrying a scimitar and shield, now slides clumsily down the northern embankment towards the group. Above him, a fourth goblin rises from the opposite thicket readying his bow.
OOC: Round one of combat is over. Continuing to round two with the same initiative order. Goblins will engage this round.
OOC: approx. how far would you say the charging goblin and the archer are, just so people know if they can move and engage this round or not with them.
OOC: The Goblin archer currently stands about 30ft away. The Scimitar carrying Goblin is currently about 25ft away but has a steep slide down and climb up to get to the party. His next attack will have a disadvantage. Any attack against him before he reaches the top will have advantage.

Seeking to do the most damage possible Zyltris steps up to make an attempt on the goblin that just avoided Serak’s bolt. His Morningstar swings wildly towards the goblin.
Leaping through the brambles, Zyltris charges towards the goblin, swinging his Morningstar, determined, this time, to hit his target. The goblin watches his new adversary run towards him, raises an arm and deflects the attack before it can connect. He turns to face Beetle, bears a toothy grin and clashes his sword against his shield. He points and the Paladin, it’s husky voice yelling, “GUTHASH!” and beckons Beetle to step forward.

"I am more than happy to engage you evil creature, I shall dismiss you from this plane..." Beetle yells as he turns and swings at the goblin issuing the challenge.
Beetle and the Goblin clash fiercely. The goblin roars, engulfing Beetle in a cloud of foul earthy breath and saliva. The familiar sound of steel on steel spreads through the thicket as the pair go toe to toe.
The Goblin swings his shield in an attack, Beetle ducks under the swinging arm. His counterattack, convincing. A long sword tears through the still forest air, slicing cleanly across the goblins chest and cleaving off a set of fingers from it’s outstretched shield hand. The goblin staggers, quickly gathers himself and re-engages with vigour.
OOC not that it really mattered, and I am sure he yelled something like bring it on or something like that but I can speak goblin. Just an FYI that I just remembered myself when checking my character sheet.
OOC: No worries I’ll keep that in mind for future encounters and put translations into spoilers similar to how the raven chat was handled. He basically called you “Bloated One” so your attack was pretty justified
[OOC: I may be unavailable rest of the afternoon, so my strategy for the encounter will be 1) Cure Wounds on any downed party member 2) Hit the archer goblins with Frostbite 3) Hit the melee goblins with Frostbite 4) if engaged, use my Quarterstaff

OOC: I'll take it on a case by case basis if that's ok? If you ask about it and I feel the need for a perception check I'll call for one at the time.
You can clearly see that the Goblins are wearing leather based armour. The Goblin brandishing the scimitar also has a leather shield on his weaker arm
