With a bonus action Beetle will first place Hex Blades Curse ( Against the cursed target, you gain a 2 bonus to damage rolls, score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20, and you regain +4 HP if it dies) on R2, then he casts green-flame blade and strikes R2 asking once again..."I know I ask often my lord, but we always seem to need your help, so please Tyr let our weapons strike..."
Attack: 13 Damage: 4 + 2 damage from curse for 12 total (sorry forgot to add the curse damage into themodifier but its 2 static damage anyhow not rolled)
OOC: Everything I've read says you can't move diagnally through a door, but you can attack with no penalty. If that is not the case, then I guess Serak embraces death and runs up to attack the skeleton Brots shot. All the more reason then that we could bottleneck doors, if only one person can attack through them.

OOC: I can't find a clear ruling on it anywhere. Moving and attacking diagonally is fine providing there are no obstacles. Moving diagonally through doorways is prevented so I can only assume the same goes for attacking. Logically it would make sense that way.
If Beetle is standing in the doorway, any attack you make would have to either swing through him, the wall, or squeeze through a space between the two. For simplicity sake it makes more sense to adopt the same rules as movement.

Faced with an approaching band of skeletons, Serak quickly draws his rapier. Preempting the imminent attack, he reluctantly steps forward and swings his blade at the withered bony corpse before him.
Attack: 14 Damage: 4
The skeleton smashes into pieces as Seraks blade hits. Bone fragments sail aimlessly through the air as the lifeless body falls to the ground once more.
The skeleton beside Serak (S2) continues his charge forward towards Brots, sword in decaying hand. In a clumsy moton, it swings its sword at the gnome.
Skeleton 2 Attack Roll: 19 Damage Roll: 7
The ancient blade bluntly slices into Brots shoulder. The gnome lets out a little squeal of pain but quickly regains himself.
Further into the crypt, the third skeleton (S3) charges forward towards Serak. Striding over the pile of bones littering the floor it swings its sword at thte bard.
Skeleton 3 Attack Roll: 21
A rolling bone underfoot causes the undead to slip. Serak manages to duck as the skeletons sword flails wldly through the air missing its target.
In the chaos of the next room, Syna has run out of options. Realizing the peril the prisoner is in he calls forth the power of nature. As the druid switches his concentration, the raging bonfire subsides, replaced with a sudden explosion of vines from the corner of the jail cell.
Stone slabs are recklessly thrown around the cell as a mess of tangled vines entrap the redbrand and his captive tightly.
Realizing this mess is of his own making, Brots draws his bow and aims at he skeleton towering above him.
Attack: 9
As he raises his bow, Brots arms are slapped away by a rotten arm. The skeleton, almost twice the gnomes size, lets a raspy cry escape from its toothy, tongueless mouth.
Continuing to hold the doorway, Beetles demon comes alive once more as he places a curse on the redbrand standing before him (R2). Sensing darkness come over him the paladin calls out to Tyr, "I know I ask often my lord, but we always seem to need your help, so please Tyr let our weapons strike..."
The paladins blade reignites with green flames once more as its swings forward at the redbrand.(R2)
Attack: 22 Damage: 12
In a flash of green the redbrand bursts into flame. A blood curdling scream fills the jail as the dim witted, cloaked figure burns. His eyes snap wide open as a terrifying vision flashes before him. The screaming stops, replaced by a dark demonic laughter as the redbrand collapses in fear and slowly burns alive.
Flame erupts from the redbrands body, spreading through the chamber. A burst of fire strikes against the Redbrand beside Beetle.
Collateral Damage to R1: 3
Cornered by the two bulking figures of Beetle and Zyltris, the redbrand has nowhere to go. He pats away the flames spreading up his cloak and lashes out with his sword, firstly at Zyltris.
Redbrand 1 Attack 1: 12
With his shortsword missing his first swing, the redbrand twists around. With the Beetle battling his own inner demons, this could be a perfect chance to attack. He swings again.
Redbrand 1 Attack 2: 15
Beetle regains himself just in time. Raising his arm the redbrands sword clashes harmlessly against his chain mail and is effortlessly thrown aside. Panic starts to fill the redbrands mind. He glances around the room looking for a chance to escape, but all possible routes of escape are clearly closed.
Struggling against the vines, the redbrand tries in vain to keep control of his hostage. Unable to move from the spot, he manages to free his sword arm calling out to his attackers, "I warned you fools! This ones death is on you!"
Redbrand 4 Attack 1: 21 Damage: 3
His blade flashes as it reflects the light. A woman screams out in terror. Vines stick to the thugs sword arm stopping his swing. The redbrands face fills with a frustration as he struggles to free himself from the thorns. He yells out once more "Drop your weapons! Or this harlot won’t survive any longer!"
With terror unfolding before him, Zyltris is determined to end the conflict quickly before there is any innocent bloodshed. With a redbrand before him he quickly swings his morningstar. (R1)
Attack: 23 Damage: 10
His swing connects easily. The redbrands ribs crumble easily with the morningstars blow, forcing him to the ground in a wheezing heap. With the room almost cleared, Zyltris turns his attention southwards, to the horrific scene facing the party in a tangle of vines.

Serak stabs at the skeleton threatening him and Brots with anger. His rapier sings out as it slices through the air.
Serak Attack Roll: 7
The steel blade scrapes along that of the skeleton and is deflected away. The two allies, suddenly find themselves cornered by the two undead.
Deflecting the bards blow, the skeleton (S2) continues his attack against Brots. His blunt sword, so reliable in life, tightly grapsed in its wrinkled withered hand.
Skeleton 2 Attack Roll: 16 Damage Roll: 4
The trusty blade catches Brots well. Penetrating deep into the gnomes side, slicing open a deep wound. In his backpack, Iris squeals out, as if feeling the same intense rush of pain spreading through the halfmans body. Dropping to a knee, Brots tries to regain his breath, hysterically planning his next move.
The second skeleton swings its sword as well. With Serak as its only real target that decision is simple.
Skeleton 3 Attack Roll: 7
The swing is direct, forcing Serak to roll aside to dodge the blow. He holds his corner well against the surrounding enemies. With Brots taking a severe amount of damage, the bard isn't sure how much longer he can hold out.
OOC: I really hope that wasn't Morthen's daughter-in-law. lol
Do we want to take the last one alive to answer for what he just did, even if that wasn't her? We already have Iarno and the two sleeping guys to haul in anyway, and he's already Entangled. Zyltris does double damage to Skeletons, so I think we're good out here if Brots also hits.

OOC: sure we can try to take him alive but because of what he just did Beetle will have no problem bringing vengeance, and I was hoping I could possibly heal the prisoner he just killed, but not sure if the prisoner fell unconscious or is outright dead.
Beetle also looks at the other prisoner and says, "If you are able to avoid the vines and come this way out of the cell."
OOC: Is it still murder or just attempted murder, if you magically heal the victim? lol I didn't think of that. You guys gotta just kill him so you can safely get her up.
Edit: Never mind, she dead. lol Now that I think about it, Syna and Beetlejuice would never let this dude live after that. lol
Beetle seeing the Redbrand kill the prisoner is enraged and charges towards him...."Tyr bring your vengeance to bear down on this man who had no right to take the life of an innocent.."
