You've never quite seen anyone or anyTHING for that matter have such a voracious appetite like Wormsquirt before. It makes you wonder where he's putting it all exactly. Everytime a question is directed at him, he seems to have his mouth full. While he does seem to be able to put away a lot of food, you begin to get the feeling that he's avoiding your questions. Wormsquirt stands after finishing his latest bowl of stew and belches loudly. After mentioning his name again, he begins clearing the dishes and taking them back to the kitchen. You are now most certain that he is indeed avoiding any and all questions concerning him and the gnolls.
"That was a great meal." Mysti says, "But I need to retire soon and spend some time praying, especially if I am to be ready to head out in the morning to wherever we are headed."
"Seems to me that we've put a dent in the Gnolls' boldness already. I can't see them coming again particularly soon. Parth, we should make sure that one dies so that it can't report back on where we are, or how many, to the rest of them. If their friends just vanish and never return, they're not going to know to look for them here. I'm fascinated to know why they were following Wormsquirt though, even if just for an entertaining story! Maybe he'll tell it to us one day.
As for that other matter, how far is Longmore from here?"
"I will have to leave that up to you my friends. For training purposes there's nothing like a good fight so tracking the gnolls would be a good option. Should you choose to head to Longmore it is a fair distance away. Maybe 3 days at a good pace. You'd be traveling through Galaderal and around Long Lake."
Mysti, getting real tired and ready to retire says, “You all know my feelings on gnolls, I’m all for hunting down the rest, then we can tackle the rest after.” With that she lets out a huge yawn....
(OOC: Just wanting to make sure charging into a Gnolls den wasn't going to be a TPK-by-foolishness! The fact that Parth didn't say it would be stupid is helpful. So, fellow adventurers, what would we like to do? The Gnolls feel to me like a bonus-XP-sidequest kind of thing, whereas Longmore feels more like a main-story-quest kind of thing, and it makes sense to me to get the bonus sidequest done first whilst we're still local?)
"Well, I'm never one to back down from a nice fight! I say we clear out the Gnolls in the morning, unless anyone has any further information to convince us otherwise?" Zarbof says, loudly enough that Wormsquirt can still hear, even over the sound of his own intentionally-loud dishes!
Thorum agrees with the idea of raiding the Gnoll den. If they are brazen enough to attack a defended area, they will likely not hesitate to attack a nearby town or isolated farm. The innocent should not suffer because we failed to act.
"That seems like a good course of action and will further your training well! If the gnoll camp is too large come back and report to me. There is no shame in living to fight another battle, but I expect for you to return victorious!"
Unless anyone has anything else they want to do tonight you should all take a long rest and...

Parth nods to the lookout "I don't think we'll get anything useful from that one" and the lookout starts dragging the gnolls out.
"There's time to think on what to do. I can't see a reason why Wormsquint would want a gnolls spear"

Thorum says “Well if he did take it, it is not likely on him now. I assume it is rather large.”

“Well Parth?” Roger asks expectantly. “What’s the plan? Go in there and smash those little devils, hopefully?”

"It seems Wormsquint has taken a liking to Tilda, or is avoiding us, either way perhaps a good nights rest will help with the decision?"

I’m gonna snatch up that average number, thank you very much.
OK, cool. So what are you guys going to do? Do you want to track the gnolls, investigate the rumors, or do vermin clean-up?
