So here's where everyone is at right now. Tauriel is in the tunnel. Vail is right next to the tunnel. Tordal and Saada are both about halfway down at 15'. Estes and Sinjin are still up top with the rope.
Saada, you join them in the tunnel and with your perception and better vision you notice a few things. The first is that the tunnel seems worn on the floor and it looks clean compared to the tunnel you guys came down in. You also see that there are 2 openings on the right side of the tunnel. The first is about 15' down, the second around 40'. After that the tunnel curves to the left and starts dropping downhill. You can also hear a faint ringing sound of a hammer striking metal echoing up from below.
Sinjin makes his way into the tunnel and nods to Saada "I've heard of them. I don't think they're very friendly. You bring up a good point Vail. We've kind of gone down the rabbit hole here."
"Uh yeah, he has a point but what're we gonna do if that Dwarf I saw got lost? He could be looking for an exit too. We should find him in case and THEN we can find an exit together! I mean what's the worse that could happen? We just walk backwards and run back up the way we came right?" Tauriel pumps her chest confidently.
"Oh...he didn't seem to be that mean...He helped me up after all." Tauriel hoofs at the ground, slightly conflicted on whether she should believe her own intuition or her companion's.
"well it seems to me that there's 5 of us and 1 of him. If Tauriel is right, he might have done useful information. If Estes is right, well, the odds look like they're in our favor. Estes, what language do these dueragar speak?"

Sinjin looking worried stares down into the shaft mumbling to himself "Oh this not good for my old bones at all" and proceeds to climb over the edge

"Uhhhh. Mister dwarf? Where are you?" Tauriel begins waving her hands about.
"Hey guys can dwarves turn invisible?" she whispers back up the shaft to the others.
"I suppose a wizard could. Are you sure you saw a dwarf not a durragar?"
Tauriel, you don't feel him waving your arms around. You can give me a check to hear him if you'd like but with his nat 20 it would have to be killer.
Where are the rest of you folks goinq? Are you headed into the tunnel with Tauriel? Continuing to the bottom. Heading into a different tunnel?

Vail moves into the tunnel with Tauriel. He makes the decision to not draw any weapons.
”Tauriel? I can’t see anything down here.”
ooc: is my sword glowing still?
Estes was worried about the strength of the rope, so he is waiting for it to be empty and will climb to Saada, tunnel or bottom .
Vail, it is not. It's been over an hour.

Saada will join Tauriel and Vail in the tunnel, looking into the darkness with Darkvision.

Saada will relay this information to Tauriel and Vail.
"Perhaps we've stumbled upon a duergar settlement. Maybe they took over the ruins of Old Okcho."
“I’m ok to explore but, what do we do about an exit strategy? If we walk in and get ambushed the only option we have is to push through.”
"Well, the rope still tied to the top, so we could fall back as well. Maybe make out way back to the surface if things get really out of hand?"
"Being underground they may have some insight into the sinkhole situation..."
Sinjin makes his way into the tunnel and nods to Saada "I've heard of them. I don't think they're very friendly. You bring up a good point Vail. We've kind of gone down the rabbit hole here."

"With dueragar,?, the worst that could happen is he bbqs you for his clan...while you're still alive "
