Ackam does his best to help Nimrod with rowing the boat toward the Gull's WIngs and before they go up onto the ship he looks back at the tabaxi and nods his head before scampering up onto the deck of the Gull's WIngs.
On board Ackam seems at home. The whole time he walks around with a shit eating grin and walks up to Captain Issa Bolara and puts out his hand and says, "what fine ship ya have here Cap'n. I used to be a first mate me-self back on da The Wind Surfer. You eva hear of her?"
Ackam, if possible, helps out on the ship where need be (OOC - would that be a [Tooltip Not Found] check?), and will go over to Bael and watch the halfling work (Perception: 24) to see how well the halfling works the crew and the ship.
Strength Check For Helping With Ship PLUS navigator's tools Bonus: 12
Issa's eyes widen a bit. Gandolo's ship? God's above! he laughs and below as well, knowing Gandolo. Yes, I know the ship, Gandolo and I have had quite some history. We even crewed together for a short time before we got our own ships. It's been some time since I've seen the, bastard, how does he fair. Talking about his old buddy, that last "fair" turns pretty pirate-y the arrrrr drawing out a bit.
You see Bael calling out orders like a practiced firstmate. His insults never hit hard and usually draw sheepish grins. When he compliments someone even the saltiest dog stands prouder. You can see that he is not just good at his job, but you'd say he's probably a good person as well.
The Wind Surfer, eh? I thought you looked a bit of a pirate, haha. Come help me shore up these li nes, will ya? You help Bael with the lines and he nods his head in approval at your skill and prowress. Not bad at all, I thank ye. Now we know at least one of ye isn't a landlubber, haha.
Not far from here lies the ruins of an ancient temple, within that temple resides an awful brute, half man, half slightly larger man... yes! The fabled Manotor! Nimbus falls into hysterical laughter at his own joke. Oh gods, you adventuring types. Ahhh hahaha, sorry, I couldn’t resist. Seriously, though, these bastards are attacking my city. Of course I want this matter cleared up as quickly as possible. You can find him at Bolan’s Rest, a small fishing village two days sail from here for one of the local wrecks. I happen to have a friend in harbor who owes me a favor, I was going to head over there myself, but this drow involvement leads me to believe I’d be better made use of here. If you wish to take me up on this generous offer, meet me at the docks just before this dawn. You can sleep on the boat, the Gull’s wing is not one of the local wrecks and will have you there tomorrow night. You can sleep on the boat, she’s almost as smooth as she is quick.
Agency, I'm not sure if you're feeding Garda false info or not, and I remember someone else mentioning the Manotaur, and I did say this at the begining of the session last time when everyone was riled up. Nimbus was joking about the Manotaur, you guys are just going to Bolan's Rest to find Wachlow.
Jayce takes the brooch and examines it closely, even holding it for a moment as he closes his eyes. He hands the brooch back to you and wipes his hands on his tunic. No trace of the arcane, but that is drow workmanship. It’s a rare thing to find above ground. I’d keep it out of direct sunlight if you wish it to maintain its full value.
"Hehe Oi thankee friend, Oi'll come fer yeh later"Earthhandwinks at the mage, taking another puff and blowing and elaborate smoke ring, using druidcraft to illuminate it and keep it perfectly in shape as it spreads and wafts its way behind the moving ship. He looks around, seeing the two halflings talking, Agency and the sea elf far above, and no trace of Bastion. Catching a glimpse (it's hard not to) of the minotaur,Thorok approaches.
"Hail, my horn-ed friend! Yeh seem like roit teh one ter have on one's side in battle. Whatee can yeh bench?"
Tibus looks down at Earthhand I’m actually trying to get shredded up right now, so I’ve been doing a lot of high rep stuff. Mostly kettlebells, trying to focus on dynamic full body strength rather than strength for strength’s sake, you know?
Talking to the Captain... "Aye,! You used da work with Gondolo? Last time I saw him was when he dropped me off over in Olber. They was going to do some piratin' around the Turtle Isle's. He's still a sonava***** mudder-fecker, but he was one of the best damn captains I've eva worked wit. The man saved me life more den once."Ackam thinks back to his pirating days with Gandolo and the times the two spent drinking Camel's Mead from the Dune Dwarves of the Zhôhaari Desert and smoking kenabi in his quarters, while Gandolo would reminisce about his earlier days as a young pirate. Ackam remembers how Gandolo would mention the ship The Barnacle's Revenge that he was first mate on. "Tell me cap'n, did you happen' to crew The Barnacle's Revenge back in your earlier piratin' days?"Ackam asks the Captain.
Working with Bael & his crew... Ackam smiles almost breaks his face while he works with Bael. Following the Code of the Pirate, he falls right into being a part of the crew. He listens to Bael's commands and yells encouragements to the other salty members as they sail towards their destination. Ackam feels right at home, even when doing the menial task. He thinks back to his time as a pirate and he is flooded with happy memories of swinging onto enemy ships, disembowels their crew, and plundering their riches. "You run a tight ship, Bael. When we find da time I'd like to share an ale wit ya." Ackam yell's at the first mate over the roar of the sea.
Earthhand looks the minotaur up and down, miring his swole. "Aye, yeh should try them 'pullo'oers', Oi've haerd o' them from teh teachin's o' teh great warrior priests Arnaldo Shua'arzeneg aen Ronald Coleson." Thorok smiles. "Yer crewmates are a li'l straight-laced, any chancee yeh'd be interested in summa this'n kenabi? Takee teh edge off,"he grins slyly and winks. "Yeh knowee anythings aboot teh place weh be sailin' fer?"
Hearing Earthhand talking to Tibus, with a warm smile Varris adds: “I wouldn’t consider myself much of a strongman, but I am very fond of one of Coleson’s sayings. ‘Tis not, but a singular peanut. He is a wise man whose understanding of the mind’s power of the body I find very enthralling.”

Aye, the Barnacle was the ship Gandolo left the Swift for. The Swift being the ship we sailed upon together. Issa winks Now keep in mind, I never said I was a pirate. I am one, but I never said so. He laughs.
Bael smiles at your praise. Indeed, my friend, indeed. I've a cask of fine Hafling Red ale I've been saving, no time like the present as I've a cousin to share it with. We'll have a sing song and a few cups tonight to be sure!
"Feck me Oi keep fergettin' meh manners, Oi'm Thorok Earthhand aen thisee be meh compatriot Varris. What'n could Oi call yeh?"Earthhand turns to his sorcerer friend, "Oi wis jus' askin' our burly friend here what'n he knows aboot where we'ree headed."

Pleasure to meet you, both. I’m Tibus late of Clan Crackorn, now of the Gull’s Wing. Balon’s Rest? It’s a small fishing village, quiet. Has a tribe of aquatic elves lives not too far away, keeps the Sahuagin away most times. Well, the sea elves and the heavy dose of retired soldiers who live there, they keep their little militia top notch. Does a fair amount of trade due to the artisan’s who live there too. Known for their scrimshaw mostly, their salt cod ain’t bad either.
Aedra blushes slightly at the attention from Issa… She wonders if he might be laying on the pirate a little thicker than normal.Does anyone mind if I hang onto the brooch? It looks siiick. She says as she turns it over in her hands, admiring it before slipping it inside of her cloak for safe-keeping (as long as no one protests).Looking around at the crew she realizes for a second how pumped she is to be here. She’s never met a sea elf or a minotaur.New things and adventure.Dope.
Ah sorry. I wasn't feeding wrong info but I was trying to be vague about why we are going. I think i misread it that there was someone attacking the village but that Nimbus played up the Manotaur thing as a joke.
Let's just keep it vague that I told her we were going to meet someone at Nimbus' request and if she knows anything about the guy.

Where is the list of items we got (I’m seeing references to potions and brooches and I have no idea what people are talking about lol)
