Not sure if the other stops were nothing more that trying to get more info. I think we should just move on to the fetch the booze mission and see where that goes
(after we've left the mansion) Barnaby, let's get the Burderking some booze, how hard can it be. And it sounds like they have found a kind path to give Fope a chance to heal
As I said, Barnaby's reading of the burgomaster was he thought that this "fetch quest" might involve far more than the burgomaster led you to believe. Which I am assuming Barnaby will have shared with you after you left.
I'll take you back to the Blue Water Inn in a bit, if there's no other business.
Lucento waits until the party is outside the mansion (whenever that may be) and, after taking in the surroundings, ruminates aloud: "It's not the largest city, but its also not the smallest. If we make a habit of returning immediately to what is already familiar, we may overlook what else Vallaki has to offer. Who knows, we may yet find some glimmers of true happiness in all this gloom?" Lucento makes no effort to mask his skepticism that they have met a single person, the lady of the house included, whose professed happiness is genuine. "Anyone opposed to taking a scenic route home?"
I've shared a map of Vallaki with you in Roll20. You should not see anything more than the map itself (and locations marked on it with N1, N2, etc.). If you see text underneath, please let me know right away so I can fiddle with it.
You arrived at the gate at the eastern point. You've already discovered St. Andral's Church, at N1. The orphanage is to the south of that. The Blue Water Inn is at N2, N3 is the burgomaster's mansion, N4 is Wachterhaus, N6 is Henrik's shop, N7 is Blinsky's toys, and N8 is the town square. You have not discovered other locations yet, I don't think.
Back at the inn, the party speaks with Urwin, the burly, bearded innkeeper. You all pass along the burgomaster's request, and he grimaces.
The burgomaster knows we are almost out of wine. Like everyone, he is eager for our delivery to arrive. But we do not have a full barrel to send him, and I do not have several bottles of Red Dragon Crush to spare.
You are adventurers. Perhaps you could go to the winery, and see what is taking so long? I hope nothing has befallen my . . . friends there. You are welcome to free room and board, if you can help us.
Still looking for a diamond of sufficient value to cast identify with. Barnaby will ask both if they know of a seller. I think it’s 50gp, but not sure. Edit: Nope, it’s a pearl worth 100gp. Not sure if we even have the coin for that. Never been to a winery before. That will be fascinating.
Yes, off to the winery, perhaps there’s a simple hive of bugbears to clean out. I’m feeling like I need to hit something and I don’t want to pull a fope

Ok.
Urwin pauses in thought. You know, the weirdest thing happened this morning while you guys were out. Another stranger came to town! We never get strangers, and now twice in a week! He didn't come through the gate, like you did. It was just a fog rolled through, right here in the street out front, and then this guy was standing here. He walks you from the kitchen out into the taproom, where the tables are, and gestures at a human man seated at one of the tables.
It's dangerous outside the walls, and maybe he'd be willing to go with you?
A young heavy set man, wearing a leather vest over a loose cloth shirt smiles as he looks around shyly, emanating a bit of a lost puppy feeling. The chair stresses under his weight. He sips from the large beer mug on the table in front of him, which if you look closely, you'll see is not one of the tavern's, both on account of its size and expert craftsmanship. His leather flat cap is just a bit to small for his large head, and yellow hair spills out from under it.
A stuffed pack with a sheathed short sword leaning against it sits behind his chair.
When he makes eye contact with members of the party, his smile brightens considerably and he motions for you to come join and sit with him.
Thank you sir what do you expect the fate of our former companion will be
and we will be happy to gather the supplies you might need
red Dragon Crush..Crush..though I heard you calling my name
Well gentlemen, should we adjourn to the inn to procure these supplies
There were other stops you were planning on making this morning, too. If you want to go directly to the Blue Water Inn, you may.
Blue: No response on his knowledge of the curse, and of the insight check which was my first good roll of the campaign?
I gave you a lot for your insight check!
If he knows anything in response to that question, he isn’t saying. Yet.
edit: and he deliberately avoided answering.

Lucento adds, "Incidentally, I wonder if the Burgomaster or one of his staff would be so kind as to show us a map of his *cough* fair city."
Sounds like a good plan, Lucento. I wonder what might be so difficult about going to the Inn for some grape nehi and some purple kush

If there's anything you're looking for in town, ask Urwin. Or turn back the clock and ask the burgomaster.

No he didn't! Oh yes he did.
Ok.

Dov, what do they see?
Blue: I am very frightened.

Josh, don't be a jerk.
This is what he looks like:
