Barnaby recalls that the spiral staircase in the southwest corner of the building appeared to lead downward from the first floor. He points this out, and the members of the party agree that this would appear to lead to the only part of the main structure not yet explored. The party quietly descends the spiral stair to a basement level.
You find yourselves in a rectangular chamber with rows of wine racks spread east to west. There is a significant amount of broken glass on the floor, and puddles of (apparently) wine, indicating recent breakage. There is also a passage to another chamber to the east, which appears to be of similar dimensions. You cannot, however, see into that other room.
The party stows its one bottle of discovered wine and moves into the eastern part of the cellar. You find a room that is the same dimensions as the room you just left, but this one has racks and many bottles of wine still rest upon them.
Something moves behind the wine rack. Through the holes, you glimpse a half dozen humanoid figures, one with a full rack of antlers. You hear a gravelly voice mutter the words of a spell.
Barnaby: Careful of the wine my friends. It would be a shame if any more got wasted. Initiative: 15
Chubs: Takes a bottle of wine from a nearby rack breaking the neck off against the shelf as he lifts it and pours the beer into his readied stein. He drinks deeply, well, it does make for a fine ale, many cherry notes. Initiative: 22
Chubs lifts his staff above his head menacingly with one hand while the other lifts his stein to his lips. The liquid that spills out at the corners looks clearly to be foaming golden ale rather than the wine that had been poured in.
As he rounds the corner he sees another of the druids. Not this time buddy. Chubs closes his eyes and draws his focus briefly inwards. He gestures grandly forwards with his stein hand sloshing beer on the creatures in front of him. As they begin to scream out, suddenly their voices are cut off and the room grows very quiet. Chubs has cast silence (spending 2 ki) at a point towards the back of the room keeping any sound from being produced in, or travelling through, the space behind the blue arc. Among other effects, this will keep the druid, or anyone else, from casting spells requiring verbal components while in that area.
Ok. The cultist with the stag horns, realizing he is under the effects of a magical silence, reaches over and grabs the tall blight next to him. He points at Chub and appears - forgetting himself for the moment - to be shouting something at the blight. The cultist then runs toward the stairwell in the southeast corner, and heads up the ramp. Barnaby and Lucento, you're up!
No you don't you young ne'er do well! Barnaby raises his staff and screams the arcane words to cast hold person on the fleeing druid. DC 14 wisdom save or the druid is paralyzed.
Oh, man. I counted out spaces very carefully for his move, and that's as far as he could get in tight quarters. Almost out of sight! But no. And with a natural 3 on his save, he is under the effect of a Hold Person spell.

Make an Investigation check.
20 investigation
Ok. Others are welcome to help, or do other things.
Barnaby will help look through the bottles while Chubs takes a general look around for other things of interest.

5 Kif grabs the bottle from Chubs and downs a big refreshing gulp
Chubs wrinkles an eyebrow at Kif. Heeeeey...I was making beer with that.
Erm, Chubs is up.

Brilliant! Inspiration for Chubs!
The room is immediately silent.
I have pinged Lucento.
