As the creature's claws rake across Chubs' face, a mouthful of beer, yet to be swallowed, sprays into a mist in the air. THOU SHALT NOT WASTE BEER! Chubs steps forwards in a rage swinging his staff at the creature's ribs, 16 to hit for 9 damage, and then an unarmed boot to the head 15 to hit for 8 damage.
Kif, I think the druid should be mainly ineffective in the silence. It would be good if you grappled or attempted to knock him unconscious so that we can question him, but do as you see fit.
Chubs, angry about the spilled beer, quickly bludgeons the blight into submission. The blights are all destroyed.
Everybody make a Perception check.
On a roll of 15 or higher, read this:
As Lucento's golden spiritual hammer twirls over your heads, laying waste to the wicked blights, you notice that there are skeletons that appear to be engraved in its golden head. It otherwise appears to be working as you would expect.
Chubs, after dispatching the blight, moves up alongside Kif. As he steps forwards the, Lucento's hammer catches his eye and what he sees makes him smile. He glances over his shoulder and appears to say something to Lucento, but no sounds come out of his mouth as he is well within the zone of silence.
Edit: Had to remove the words Chubs said...It's very quiet in here.
Also, everybody roll a second Perception check, for things completely unrelated to the last thing. On a 10 or higher, read the following:
You are movement on the floor above you. Nothing particularly heavy, but maybe lots of little things.
Also, if you are Chubs and you roll a 10 or higher, read this:
You noticed the room near the rear wall - opposite the stairwell, where you fought the blights - is noticeably colder than the rest of the room.
Finally, if you roll a 12 or higher, read this:
As you passed through the hallway separating the two rooms, you notice that that narrow passage was cooler than the rest of the space in the wine cellar.
Chubs walks thoughtfully over to Kif and the struggling cultist. He takes a sip of ale enjoying one more moment of silence, mimes a shushing gesture at the antlered figure, and then snaps his fingers dismissing the silence spell.
Chubs finishes his leisurely stroll up to where Kif has the cultist pinned to the floor. Hello friend. Chubs taps the druid on the forehead with the end of his staff. I'd like to ask you a couple of questions...a pause, another tap on the forehead...Who are you? tap Why are you here? tap Who else is here with you? tap Please answer quickly as my friends here are not nearly so gentle as I am. tap... tap....
Kif and Chubs are up.

Lucento also gets a +4 to that Perception check.

You have secured one cultist.
He bellows in a language you cannot hear in the silence, gnashing his teeth and spraying spittle. What do you do?
We are out of combat.

You shouldn't have to burn inspiration, Kif is Helping you, as previously stated...right
Yeah, Kif is helping! I still have inspiration. :)
Thanks Dave.
